    Unsweetened tea

Even though it was a slow process to receive my drink, they are super adorably nice! And my drink is my favorite one yet! It's delicious!! The aloe Vera is the best aloe of all the locations I've been too! Only Weird thing, no stick on lid, it's a plastic cup lid, but no biggy kids just may not enjoy punching a hole in the lid! Lol They have wifi and social media and games. Is very simple and clean looking, but they could put some music on and maybe plant pictures of tea photos or something, and a large wall menu maybe' but still this place is delicious and they are sweet!!! I'm impressed! Wish it was closer to me, but totally worth a drive if I want high quality tea! and aloe!

    Taro Coconut Milk w/boba. Delicious!
    Lisabelle L.

Visited for the first time and ordered the taro coconut milk with boba. I was happy to see that they didn't skimp out on the boba. Small place with some indoor seatings for a causual break. Taro coconut milk was delicious and refreshing for the heat. Definitely recommend. I took away a star for the boba, it was cooked a bit longer so they were soft and kind of melts in your mouth. Definitely wasn't chewy. I was also hoping that they were selling bahn mis, but they no longer sell them. I was referred to the Asia Mart, but it's a bit of a drive and always super crowded. Since this is the only boba shop close to work, I'll come back for sure. Hopefully their boba will be cooked better next time.

So grateful to have tried this spot, this is exactly what I've been looking for, for the past few months. I ordered the Black Milk Tea with Black Sugar Boba. So perfect! The bottom of my drink was still warm when it was handed to me, which was a first. It was exciting to stir and chill from the ice. The shop is full of nice people as well. Looking forward to my next visit already! Thank you!!

New favorite boba spot. I'm glad it's in the hood. Bad enough being in a good desert (done by design/policy), at least we can have some great restaurants to dine in, especially ones owned by minorities and members of marginalized communities. Such a nice family that operates the spot, and I enjoy our brief conversations while waiting on the Taro Coconut Milk Tea w/ extra Coconut Milk Foam. Yeahhhh, that milk foam is CRACK

Such a cute place, great location. They have WiFi which is nice since I came her to study. There is plenty of seating, outlets to charge and even games to play if you want! The pineapple smoothie is super fresh and flavorful! The salted plum lemonade is a more specific taste that may not be for everyone but was a great recommendation that I liked! Boba is sweet and flavorful and the rainbow jelly is a good add! They even have 10% off for students so that was great! Nice experience, will absolutely be back again!

I got the match with milk foam and it was seriously delicious! If you love matcha you have to give this a try. Sweet creamy and fresh. They made the boba fresh when we got there and the staff was very nice. Will definitely be returning

So this place is super clean and plain on the inside. Very zen Asian vibes (LOVE, as I am Asian). Neutral calming colors with not much on the walls. They could use a little decor but love that it's very authentic and stick to true "boba tea flavors". I got a taro milk tea with basil seeds and it was SUPER delicious. The owner (I believe) was very nice. He came out to my table where I was waiting and handed me the drink himself instead of passing it over the counter, which was very polite and the types of service I look for when dining, but don't expect from a boba shop! I'll definitely be coming back here for sure! The prices were super affordable and I got my drink pretty quick! Some teens dropped in and hung out for a while as well. They came in with food from a different restaurant, played jenga, ate, and then ordered some boba and left. I thought it was cool they didn't pressure them on sitting down with food from outside, even when they didn't order right away. Shows great characteristics of the owners! Love it. We gotta make our places open and safe for teens.

Service is always friendly, very patient staff has explained the flavors to me more than once Consistent taste, fresh boba always. WiFi access, board games, tables are always clean, good lighting My drinks have always been ready in less than 3 minutes, so glad they opened up here.

BOBA ALERT! This is a courtesy notice for all those boba lovers in the local Windcrest area, and an even bigger shout out to the citizens of San Antonio. Teapioca has some pretty darn good boba if I do say so myself! Teapioca? But Where? I stopped by this shop on the way back from running errands for the week and I'll be honest, the parking lot situation in the general area is very spacious but also very beat up. It's placed conveniently along the way home, to the grocery store, or dessert after a meal at one of the limited restaurants in the area. The surrounding area has a lot of work left to be done, but Teapioca adds a curious sense of growth in the right direction. How 'bout the Indoors? Incredibly spacious, I mean numerous tables for many people to come, sit down, and enjoy a good time. Fresh walls of white, little plants for that pop of color adorning the table tops, this establishment is kept clean and neat! I noticed walking up to the counter that they have stacks of games inviting people to come and enjoy while back ground music plays. What did I get? I ordered the Black Milk Tea with Black Sugar Boba. My drink came out quick and the boba was fresh and warm! The sweetness of the boba mixed with the brisk, bold flavors of the black tea, there is almost like... a harmony of flavors that made drinking this quite satisfying. Every visit following has had this as my go-to refresher. Each time I can confidently say there has been no hints of powder or inconsistencies which is why I find this place so reliable. If you find yourself hungry and looking to snack, they do offer a banh mi choice so I would say have at it! I'm excited to see this menu potentially grow in the future! On a side note, if you would like your drink a different level of sweetness, just ask and see what they can do because it's not a direct option on the menu. The People? The two cashiers there were very helpful, friendly and informed me of their stamp card system. The woman in the back works very hard and continuously produces smooth, great tasting drinks. The crowds I've seen have varied, ranging from teens to older couples and I think that is a great indicator of what other people see here. Overall Thoughts Teapioca is a tasty boba shop with consistently flavorful drinks. It has been difficult to find reliable shops around town so if you're in the area, I would give this place a try! ------------------- Update! They do have a bathroom! Rockin' man, just rockin'!

A must try!! The black milk tea with black sugar boba is easily THE best boba tea I've ever tasted. You can actually taste the tea. I love that they have oat milk as an option. Quality fresh ingredients, and the service is always friendly and spot on. This has become my favorite place for bubble tea in San Antonio.

Really nice and trendy location. Saw this place was opening this week on instagram and I had to stop by to get Thai tea. It was really good, one of the best I've had. So good I forgot to take a picture before I finished it I will be back for more!!

Just tried this place out, I was very impressed given that it just opened. The interiors are so clean and welcoming, the staff although there is some lack of english are very friendly. My friend got a milk tea with boba and I the honey brewed tea. Both were delicious. I had a sip of my friend's milk tea and it was just the right amount of creaminess I have always wanted. The boba was slightly chewier than I am used to but it was probably better than my standards. Honestly BEST MILK TEA IN S.A., my honey brewed tea was just as expected, slightly sweet yet smooth and refreshing. I will definitely come back

There drinks are great with a fair price, nice vibe, chill staff recommend if you're down to have good time to listen to music or play one of the many bored games they have.

Last month, after an early valentine's lunch, my aunt and uncle went…read moreoff in search of aguas frescas and mangonadas nearby while my cousin and I hunted for a dessert spot that was a little different. that spontaneous search led us to Just Smash'em--and it turned out to be a sweet find. The concept is simple but appealing: fun, unique combinations of sweet treats that lean slightly toward the lighter side. Think açaí bowls, waffles, and snackable options that could easily double as breakfast or a light meal. I ordered the Berry Good Bowl with açaí, oat milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, granola, almonds, and Nutella. In hindsight I could've skipped the banana and granola, but it was still delicious. The fruit tasted fresh, the sweetness was balanced, and the açaí base held up surprisingly well on the drive home. My cousin went for the Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella--the waffle he has been searching for in the first place--and it did night disappoint. Service was warm and patient while we navigated the menu, and we even got to chat briefly with David, the young lady went. He shared that the business started as a food truck before growing into this standalone shop. The nice young ladies at the counter even offered us to take a flower from their vase of pink carnations for the Valentines. It's a cozy spot with a welcoming I've, even with yea small arts-and-crafts area for kids that makes it feel like a neighborhood hangout. A fun kitty dessert stop when you're craving something sweet but a bit different. We'll definitely be back to try more.

For the rests of the us, the ones with fantastic tastebuds such as myself, you will really, really enjoy this little boba/ smoothie/ gelato/ coffee shop tremendously!!! It's immaculately clean, and the service was top notch as well. I ordered my usually at any boba shop, which was my ultimate old reliable taro root boba tea, I normally get this frozen but silly me I had forgotten to tell the young man behind the counter that preference, I did specify that I wanted a slight coconut taste and I thought that possibly that they could possibly throw a smidgen of coconut boba flavor in there somehow. He told me the best way to get the coconut flavor in that won't be too over powering is that I should consider putting coconut milk in it. I agreed and than I noticed the delicious looking gelato! I love gelato. So I figured perhaps I'd get a small smidgen to enjoy with my boba. So he tells me that their gelato is actually from Italy the ingredients came from there, and offered me a sample. I tasted the coconut and it was really good. It had a nice creaminess to it and wasn't sickenly (I know that's maybe not a real word) sweet just perfect flavor like I was on a tropical beach with a straw in a coconut that's been on ice for 24 hours so it's nice and cold. So refreshing. Than I seen the ube flavor and I was like - wow that's what I want, he's like oh you want to sample the Ube flavor, I was like no, I'm already convinced it will be delicious as well. So I ordered the medium gelato which came with two scoops, one of each and it was so good I had to actually pace my self from not wolfing it down. I still had not sampled my boba. It was still wrapped up. But than the guy comes from behind the counter and offered me a second, well he didn't offer it he just gave it to me, I was a bit surprised as I only ordered one drink, but he explained how he wasn't sure if I he remembered to put the coconut milk in the boba tea for me. I told him I haven't even had sampled it yet and really in my not even tell the difference. He told me no problem I already made it for you. So honest - how many servers would just hope I would not notice! More than likely quite a bit, and I also noticed that they draw little faces on their cups here, see in pic so cute, and there's board games, like Jenga, connect 4 and j few other board games for groups of people to play. So in review I had the most delicious boba tea with a medium gelato, my bill came to about $14. 00. + 5 for a tip. It was money well spent for a delicious meal and great service. Plenty of parking as it's in a shopping cluster of stores on the corner of Fredericksburg and Wurzbach. Enjoy!
