Order of pickles.... Flat flat flat ....

Yikes.... Ray Charles and Helen Keller could season and cook better food than the Individuals Currently running the flavorless show at this T-Post!!! Is the (T) for terrible? I had the meat sweat platter, let's start with the manhandled chicken. 1. It's looked as if the kitchen staff was playing baseball with this dry under seasoned bird.. if you're going to Serve dry mangled food at least cover it in that bbq sauce... 2. Sausage- the sausage was fine... it was store bought: from a distributor so kudos to the manufacturer! 3. Brisket- to be honest I would have probably enjoyed it had it not been room temperature and solidified fat when it got to my table... 4.ribs- hmmm what to say about the ribs I think they took my advice about the chicken and did that to the ribs... no flavor and just covered in bbq so it's a rib bbq soup! Over all, the whole dish was room temp at best. And of course I'll save the best for last , I was given the option of one side with this food and I went with the Mac and cheese.... One of the biggest mistakes of my entire life... no joke... I have had better Mac and cheese in a nursing home... and that's saying something. Service was mid... once we got Our food it was actually non existent.... There must be a water shortage because my glass was empty empty empty. Hmm I will say the corn bread was the best part.. Although the honey butter did taste like blue cheese so that's weird.... The pickles on them appetizer was sad... it was as if they emptied the bottom of the bag of potato chips on a plate... You know, all tiny broken ends and pieces of undesirables that have had little fingers breaking them up l day... long story short... not recommended...

Came here for a date night with my husband. He had the brisket and it was a very generous portion and it was the best brisket ever. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The taste of the coleslaw is a little bit off for me so next time I would have a sandwich without it. Our server was great and we highly recommend this place. Wish their music started earlier but we turn in too early for that.

Service was fantastic! We did have a toddler with our party, a booster chair was available but a high chair would of been preferred. The pickle spears were not what we expected, they were more like pickle fries, surprisingly a little spicy. The Meat Sweats was perfect for sharing. All meats were tender and delicious including the chicken! My recommendation would be to have more bbq sauce options. The sides and appetizers could use a little more flavor enhancement. Overall, great new place in town.

Fantastic find of a place! Excellent BBQ and reasonable prices. Not a full service cocktail…read moreplace but drinks made with their spirits were good. The first thing is coming in you get that rustic lodge feeling from the woodwork and decor as you get hit with that smokehouse aroma. No better way to get you hungry and set the mood for BBQ. Just yum! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive and checked in but never intrusive, hovering and did not ignore us once served. Tried a flight with Huckleberry, Berry, Cinnamon, Espresso and Walla Walla Sweet Onion (they "tree in" the espresso). Could take or leave the berries espresso and cinnamon were fantastic while the onion was interesting. Had a Bloody Mary with the onion and it was good. One table mate had the loaded potato with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The noodles were bigger than skinny boxed and very tender. The cheese was creamy and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender and juicy and jam packed with flavor but could have been a bit more smoky. For the food: I got a small BBQ platter which came with 3-meat choices , a dinner roll and a single side choice. I chose baked beans for my side. Tri-tip, ribs and brisket for my meats. I tasted the beans nothing special but tasty. Same for the roll. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and meaty! I got three 3"-4" ribs. I also had a small pile of super thin sliced tender juicy and flavorful tri-tip and three 1/4-1/2" thick slices of brisket. The brisket was moist and had a good smoke flavor as well. I ate all the ribs, half the tri-tip and a slice of brisket. The rest went home with me as this was a hearty serving. To end our evening we were sent on our way with well wishes and thanks for patronage from our server and the bartender!

From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much pride and passion goes into everything they do. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a family pouring their heart into their craft. The backstory alone is inspiring -- from perfecting a coffee liqueur recipe years ago to building a full distillery and now a restaurant that's quickly becoming a local favorite. On our visit, we tried a little bit of everything: the legendary Texas Twinkies, hearty Loaded Baked Potatoes, the signature Cedar Rain Sandwich, and the savory Brisket Dip. Every bite tasted like it came from years of practice, care, and a true love of good food. And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The Peach Green Tea Cocktail was bright and refreshing, and the Lavender Lemonade Mocktail was every bit as crafted as a cocktail -- thoughtful, balanced, and locally inspired. What struck me most is how dedicated Cedar Rain is to being part of the Walla Walla community. They've built more than a menu -- they've built a gathering place that celebrates local flavors, family, and connection. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. We both ordered meat, because it's what's for dinner! The pork chop and the New York specifically. With the blistered beans and wood stone potatoes. All seasoned very well and delicious. For startes, we ended up ordering the Pork Rulette, which was excellent. They even brought us more bread to enjoy it with. I think the biggest downside is the price, but we were finding everything in Walla Walla to be expensive. When in wine country, pay wine prices. I'd have preferred beer prices. Ensure you make reservations, the person that recommended the place mentioned it and we would agree. While it was almost empty when we arrive, it was full by the time we left with a wait.

She took care of party of 6 that ranged in ages from 44-86 with lots of laughter and fun. Every single thing we had was phenomenal - from the cocktails to starters to entrees and dessert, I was a fan of every bite. Starters: Salted Fries: perfectly crispy and seasoned with the best homemade fry sauce Ahi Wontons: great fish quality, crispy wontons and awesome sauce Mains: Three of us ordered the rotating steak and with three different cooking preferences, they nailed all three. Two of us got the Gochujang Glazed Tofu and it was delicious. The two sauces that came with could be added to make it to your liking. Our friend is vegan and they were able to customize it with no issue. Ahi Tuna: perfectly seared and delicious. Desserts: Zucchini Cake was a healthy portion and well-balanced. The star of dessert was the salted butterscotch ice cream. In a collab with Pine Cone Creamery, I couldn't stop eating it. The restaurant is gorgeous, still preserving some of the old pieces of it while modernizing it. Eating in the wine barrels or the private spaces looked special as well. What a treat, can't wait to come back when we are in town again!

Since the menu didn't indicate it was grilled or served hot, we expected a traditional cold sandwich. Instead, it arrived hot, which quickly wilted the lettuce to the point that we removed it. The ciabatta roll was also underwhelming--it was soft throughout and lacked the crisp, chewy crust that ciabatta is known for. The tater tots were just okay and seemed a bit overcooked or possibly freezer-burned. We were also surprised to see a charge for splitting a meal. We rarely ask to split dishes because my husband typically eats much more than I do, but it's the principle that bothered us. In today's dining environment, charging an extra fee simply to divide a plate feels outdated and unnecessarily nickel-and-diming customers.

Service was good, beer choices were plentiful and it was cold. Onion rings were delicious and highly recommend getting them with the jalapeño ranch, delicious. My 4 star comes from us ordering a custom pizza and asking for certain ingredients (and confirming with the server) and then our pizza came out a little different. We thought we were getting pepperoni, sausage, onion, green pepper and half of the pizza with artichoke. That turned into: pepperoni, sausage, red bell pepper and green onions (like scallions) and artichoke on one half. When the gal brought it out she said "we don't have bell pepper" so there obviously is a miscommunication with the guy we ordered with. It was edible, I was disappointed but it wouldn't stop me from going back and just knowing not to order that.
