We had a tough time trying to find a contractor to fully remodel our kitchen. We interviewed eight…read morecontractors before we finally stumbled upon Winpoint, through the help of Yelp. There were many contractors with high Yelp ratings, but we found the majority of the ones we spoke with were outrageously expensive and beyond our budget. The few that were within our budget felt untrustworthy, based on conflicting information/advice other contractors had given us. Then, with met with Winpoint's owner, Jun Wang. At our initial consultation, Jun patiently spent a fair amount of time learning about the vision we had for the new kitchen. The communication was clear. His demeanor and conduct were professional. He explained what he could and couldn't (or shouldn't) do. At the end of that consultation, he submitted a quote that I thought was (finally) a good value and affordable. He said our project was going to take six weeks. When all was said and done, it took exactly six weeks to complete. No excuses for why they couldn't finish on time, despite whatever roadblocks they dealt with along the way. I appreciated that he pushed hard enough to stay on schedule. In the end, he did what he said he would do - there were no broken promises. That was important to me. Winpoint is a smaller company. It doesn't have all of the overhead larger companies have, which means, in his case, that lower operational costs get passed onto the customer. If you need something, you deal directly with Jun, not a telephone menu from hell, not a phone operator, apprentice or assistant project manager. While he did have other concurrent remodeling jobs, I found Jun to be responsive to our needs, questions and concerns and never felt we had to wait in line to get something done. Jun is very good at scheduling. We had no bottlenecks during our six weeks construction period. With the exception of cabinet and countertop installation, Jun does not use subcontractors. Electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, tile installation, window installation, etc. are all completely within his control, which basically means that anything that doesn't go perfectly can (and does) get fixed by his employees right away and, more importantly, to his (and our) satisfaction. All of his employees are very good at their respective areas of expertise. Any minor imperfections were dealt with and rectified in a timely manner. Overall, I can recommend Winpoint for your kitchen or remodeling project. If you are looking for a good value and quality work, Jun is your man.

Then they disappear for days or even weeks, offering excuse after excuse. They drag out the project while constantly asking for payment. When only about 70% of the work was done, they told me the job was "complete," even though basic things like door frames weren't installed. They just wanted their money so they could move on to the next project. They also don't keep their promises. They left trash, leftover food, and construction mess everywhere. They promised to haul away debris on the second day and then vanished completely. The owner, Jose, has a terrible attitude. Bottom line: they want your money without putting in the work. Reply to your comment Jose: There may be two sides to every story, but when many customers raise the same concerns, it's worth taking a closer look internally. Repeatedly responding to negative reviews by blaming or insulting customers instead of acknowledging issues only reinforces those concerns. This review reflects my actual experience. I stand by what I wrote. I hope you take this feedback as an opportunity to improve rather than deflect responsibility.

Alex handled project management, the design, inspections, he submitted a plan to the city, got all permits in order and all the labor for all the projects! He even gave us a 3D design of what the finished project would look like and while we was waiting for approve from city I went shopping for tile and appliances together with Alex. I am extremely happy with the kitchen remodeling project we did! All promises was delivered successfully!!! They finished on time and WITHOUT any hidden fees! It's great to find a company out there that i can trust! So the kitchen remodeling are done and now we have a bigger dining room connected to the kitchen with beautiful contemporary looking kitchen cabinets and gorgeous counter top stone (everyone who's enter to my kitchen now asking me where they can get it?))))) And then..... next step.... my bathrooms ! I chose to have modern contemporary style in bathrooms as well)), so it can match my kitchen now). Do not trust the field supervisor Doron M who estimates price and signs contract with you, if you…read moredecide to hire this company, they're not reliable and work is not good, lack of communication on work schedule, workers do not follow client's request nor deliver messages to their boss. Called the company and complained, the secretary comforted me on the phone and suggested me to sue the company, and collecting payments at the same time. 4 % fees if pay with credit card. Field supervisor Doron said he only came by "periodically" and "doesn't know the workers' schedule" because "owner makes the schedules and tell the workers what to do every day". Doron is not the licensed contractor! And Doron lies, he promised but never follow through. Put his promises and words in writing and make sure they are written down in the contract if you want to hire them. Do not trust him. Poor workmanship and defect! My bathroom floor is higher than the bedroom. The bathroom door is not even. The shower drain was filled with debris because plumber didn't remove and clean. Electric outlets didn't work and the outlet cover easily came off the wall. The remodeling was like what they wanted to get done, not what the customer wanted to be done. Completely lack of communication and overpriced, do not sign satisfaction paper, they only provide 1 year warranty IF it's their work related and If it's written in the contract. Bathroom flooring and uneven door were discounted at the final day for $1500, I paid total $26400 for a small bedroom and bathroom. Work is not acceptable and they refused to redo and correct their mistake. Legal action was warned and contacted the bond insurance with their bond number. And I will contact the licensing board which it's their secretary, Adriana, suggested and Neto, the owner of My Space Remodeling, told me to go ahead. They don't follow building codes. Make sure get the city inspector to come out and check their work. The project took a week longer than what it's written on the contract as well. Never trust the company! Never recommend it!

We felt his bid was fair, the work was completed in a timely manner and he followed Covid protocols. We really appreciated his attention to detail and clean finishes.
