My appointments had to be rescheduled a couple of times due to issues relating to the cabinet crew but Jairo kept me updated, which I appreciate. He brought several of his cabinet guys for the job. I liked that he was overseeing their work, pointing out issues and had them addressed. As for the cabinet itself, the color isn't an exact match but it comes close. I didn't noticed at the time that the cabinet didn't come with a back panel, which leaves my dirty, ugly original wall exposed. It's not a big deal but I expected the cabinet to come fully enclosed like my existing ones. I think Jairo is professional and straightforward. Overall, it was a good experience. read more

I really recommend Jairo Moira. He came in person to give me a free estimate for a more accurate quote and to understand the scope of the work involved. He was present with two other workers throughout most of the time. He stained and hung a door for me, which I had made elsewhere. There were some defects with the construction of the door which required more complex work, but he solved the problem and didn't change the quote. He finished on the earlier side of his timeline, which was great. And ultimately, the work itself looks good and I am satisfied with how it turned out. I had been trying to have Jairo to work in a couple of projects for my home. Both my kitchen and living room needed some work in both the ceiling and walls. Jairo provided two reasonable quotes after consultation. I can honestly say I was pleased with the work he and his assistant (Victor) provided. For the kitchen, Jairo and his assistant did some demolition and remodeling. That was followed with installation of a stove, sink, dishwasher, and extractor. Short Version: Honest, Reliable, and most of all REASONABLE pricing! Long version: Finally an honest and detail oriented contractor who wasn't out to gouge our pockets or do shoddy work. Our house was built in 1984 and unfortunately the owners that we bought the house from didn't do much upgrades since it was built. This meant there was a good amount of work to be done on our very limited budget. I had called around on trusty Yelp and while I did get some good leads, the prices that we were quoted came in alot higher than what we had budgeted for. I was lamenting my dilemma to a co-worker one day and she mentioned she had a great contractor but he wasnt on Yelp. (I literally added his info bc I am a Yelper and have to do my part by sharing). I decided to give it a shot and got Jairo's information. I called him and we made an appointment for the following Saturday. Jairo came on time and we walked through my house and the things we wanted done. Rewiring of bedroom light switches that weren't working, change out ugly ceiling fans with new chandeliers, installation of a light for the downstairs storage closet, and the biggie a new electric panel. Jairo evaluated the work and what impressed me most was how he recommended a sub panel instead of a new panel that so many other contractors had suggested. Upgrading to a new panel would have costs thousands more. But with a sub panel it would SAVE us money. He was honest in his assessment of the work that needed to be done, how long each job would take, and the timing of when he could get to it. Best of all he gave me reasonable pricing! I hired him after talking with my husband. A week later Jairo showed up with his co-worker and they got started. They were considerate of my house and protected the areas where they would be doing work. When they finished the job a week later my husband and I inspected everything and was impressed with the detail. The patch work on the walls were so good it looked like nothing had even been done. My ceiling fan that we installed on cathedral ceilings needed the wire ran thru the beam and you can't even tell it was patched. Wow! We had water damage in our kitchen sink area, damaging some cabinets and drywall behind that. It was not easy to find someone who would be able to repair our customs cabinets without the need for replacing them (we couldn't find their match). Jairo accepted our project with a fair price, and he was able to complete it as he promised. The best part about working with him was that we had peace of mind as he was very honest, transparent, patient, respectful and kind. You can trust what he is saying and what he is doing which is not very common in this market. It took sometime for him to fit our project in his schedule, but that is understandable as he is busy because he is doing his job great! This post is not about the quality of his work because he never came out when he was scheduled to be here. He was responsive at first and gave me a fair quote. He was to come out and do the first part in preparing the wall to install a heavy duty range hood. After two weeks of him postponing the work because he's busy, we agree on last Friday at 2pm. Waited and waited and never showed and didn't bother to call. I called him and he said he got too busy and forgot, so he says "without fail I will be there Saturday at 11am." Saturday 11am rolls around and guess what?! He never showed up and never called. I don't get it. If you're too busy and cannot commit, just say so and don't waste someone's time. Jairo and his assistant exceeded my expectations and all within my tight budget. I needed to get that awful popcorn off my bedroom ceiling that was causing allergies and trouble sleeping. I shopped around but everyone came in very high so he was the most reasonable offer. I normally only pick contractor and service providers who have tons of 5 star reviews. But I decided to give Jairo a shot after just a few. I am so happy I did. I had some structural work I needed repaired due to termite damage. It was not a easy fix as support planks had to be replaced that ran from inside the top of the garage roof to the outside eaves. He did did a great job with little disruption to the inside contents. He installed new fascia planking in the front and repainted all effected areas. He did a fantastic job. Everything looks great and you can't tell there was not any work done at all. Clean up was awesome and he was very punctual. Best of all he was very reasonably priced. Needless to say, just before the shutdown, I had no kitchen as it had just been demolished.
