Hickory Flat was the closest shop, so we took a chance and drove in without an appointment, hoping for the best. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've had with any repair shop. When I went to pick up my vehicle and test drive it, things went wrong almost immediately. While on the highway, the truck locked up and dropped into first gear without warning. Upon inspection, I discovered that several wires and cords had been left unharnessed, and they had wrapped around the driveshaft, causing serious damage. Auto Experts replaced the transmission once -- then a second time -- but the truck still wasn't shifting properly. I eventually had to take it to AAMCO, who ended up fixing all of the issues that Auto Experts supposedly "repaired." Ever since those original mistakes, I've had to deal with a series of other mechanical problems, including issues with the transfer case, fuel pump, and electrical system -- all of which I believe were caused by their poor workmanship. Over several months, I was repeatedly charged for tows, additional parts, and labor, with little to no clear explanation. In total, I spent over $15,000, and my vehicle was never right. The front desk staff offered no real assistance and seemed unable to provide any information without Hector's approval. Communication was frustrating, and accountability was completely lacking. At this point, I feel that Auto Experts of Acworth took advantage of me and my trust. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into a financial and mechanical nightmare. After later checking the BBB, I found that they already have multiple negative reviews, which I wish I had seen before going there. Bottom line: If you're looking for an honest and reliable mechanic, do not trust Auto Experts of Acworth or Hector. Save yourself the stress, money, and time -- look elsewhere. Beware.

He was friendly and got me in and out as quick as anyone reasonably could. What I appreciated most is he was familiar with my old car and its quirks. As my car has aged, I've had trouble getting it to pass emissions, not because of actual emissions problems (I've had my mechanic fix those), but because of electrical issues. Jeffery knew exactly what to do. The shop I get my car serviced at around the corner, Eurotech, referred me to Rapid Rotation. Because of the direct referral, Rapid Rotation knocked $5 off my emissions test fee. They charged me $20 when it's normally $25, so that was nice. Rapid Rotation is kind of like an older, smaller, locally-owned Discount Tire. It's more along the lines of a humble mom and pop shop. Unlike Discount Tire, they also do oil changes, change air filters, service transmissions, drain and fill radiators, service differentials, and change wiper blades. The prices seem fair and in line with other shops. For example, an oil change is $30 ($60 for full synthetic) and a transmission service is $125. There are two Rapid Rotation locations: this one in Marietta and one in Kennesaw. This one is in a small strip (East Marietta Automotive Center) with other auto service shops. The parking lot is packed with cars. The shop itself is old (over 20 years in business) and no-frills. They have a waiting room with windows into the garage (there's actually an "Emissions Test Viewing Area"), a TV, magazines, and a restroom for customer use. During my visit, the TV was tuned to CMT. They have three bays and I saw four employees working when I swung by during my lunch break.

He even helped me with my stroller! He was very polite and helpful. My car was taken back to the shop immediately. I checked in with the service desk, and the representative was very polite and helpful as well. I was offered bottled water while I waited. The waiting area was very comfortable and clean. I told the representative at the service desk that I was interested in tire quotes. He brought me several different options and went over all the details with me. There was absolutely no pressure to buy today. He simply was providing me with quotes (and good quotes, I might add!) He made sure to point out any sales or promotions and ways to save money. Upon leaving, the same mechanic who greeted me helped me out the door and assisted me with my stroller, car seat, etc. My car was pulled up to the front door and was ready to go. He was very friendly, and we had small talk about our kids. He even brought up their free shuttle service for future visits to make it easier with kids. I will definitely continue bringing our cars here for their servicing needs!

I've been taking my cars for several years to Midtown Tire. I've always felt they did a good job…read morefor me. However, I just took my Jeep Renegade in to repair a power window regulator and they quoted me $2700 to repair it. When I called, first they said about $500 of that was "worst case scenario" in case they needed extra parts. Then they said the motor was bad too was not true. When I challenged them on that, then they backtracked and said it was recommended to replace it since everything was already taken apart. When I asked how much it was they said the motor was also $500. An OEM motor from Mopar costs $188. Then when it came to the regulator assembly, they said that was $1200. Same thing. The Mopar OEM replacement for that part is about $670. And that is OEM replacement parts, with no discount. I declined the work and just paid them the $188 for the labor they did. As someone who has been a loyal customer and given them literally thousands of $$$ of business, this was offensive and sleazy to try to fleece me in this manner. I flat out caught them lying to me, and then they were trying to mark-up the parts by a ridiculous amount. I won't give anymore of my business to them, nor recommend them unless they can explain why they felt this was a fair estimate and can explain it. I need an explanation other than "we only buy certified OEM so we can guarantee the work/warranty" nonsense. Had they come to me and quoted me ~$700 for the part and then add on the labor, I would've still not liked it, but the math would've made sense and I would've done the work. $2700??? Come on folks. I have all my documentation and proof. Do they? Update 8/6/26: I ordered a used regulator from a 2023 Jeep. Put it in myself in a couple of hours and works great. Cost me $100. Yeah, I'll NEVER do business with Midtown again.
