If there's one thing people value nowadays, it's a trustworthy mechanic like Mike. I first met Mike…read moreover 40 years ago, and I was mesmerized by his professionalism, knowledge, honesty, and integrity. Back then, I couldn't help but insist he open his own shop--and I'm so glad he did. In a world where so much has changed, Mike has kept his values intact. If you're looking for someone you can truly rely on, Mike is your guy! Jose Ferrin

During a trip to Georgia, I had my vehicle serviced - needed…read morean entire engine replaced for a cost of $10,000 and was assured that everything was working correctly. When I returned home to Ohio, my car engine began to smoke like within 3 days of a full engine warranted replacement! I took it to my local long-standing mechanic, Streamline Auto, and was charged $887.90 and was told the car engine had the following failures: * There was no antifreeze in the engine. * The cooling system was leaking under the intake manifold. * The oil cooler nipple was broken which caused the coolant leak. * A cylinder head gasket test was performed, and it failed. The test indicated there was damage to the cylinder heads, gaskets, block, or all of the above. * Further, there was an indication from my local mechanic that all the following repairs and defects were directly correlated to the faulty installation of the motor that was installed in their place of business. I tried to get them to pay the $887.90, they declined and STILL refused after getting a lawyer involved. My parents live in GA and have been going to themn for YEARS. They were horrible from the beginning and I should've heeded the red flags, but I was ready to get my Jeeo back and in working condiations. DO NOT WASTE YOUR RESOURCES! DRIVE PAST!

We are new the the state and needed to find a mechanic. After receiving several buy one get one oil…read morechange coupons in the mail, we decided to give Chloe's a try. We were able to make appointments one hour apart for our two vehicles, both needing synthetic oil changes. The first vehicle was dropped off and checked in by our appointment time (11am). We were told we would receive a call when it was done so we went across the street to the store. At 11:37 we received a text message with a link to the results of the 21-point inspection (which is performed during every oil change and included in the price). There were photos of the two issues marked as "may require attention soon" which we thought was a great feature. We hadn't received a call yet but were done at the store so we headed back in. When we walked in they said they were just about to call. They then took us back into the garage to actually see the leak for ourselves which we thought was very cool - real transparency on their part! He said that as long as we monitor the oil level and it isn't decreasing, that this isn't something to worry about for now. They explained the process of what they would need to perform to figure out where the leak is coming from and quoted that cost so we can plan to do that in the future. We paid and left the second vehicle for the noon appointment. Around 12:30 we came back as we assumed they would be almost done since the other vehicle was done in 40 minutes and we expected zero issues with our second car is it is fairly new and barely driven. As soon as we walked in the gentleman that had been helping us said we were a little early so we said we would sit in the waiting room. The waiting room was VERY nice. In fact, there are two waiting rooms. You walk through a door into the first which appears to be set up for folks who may want to do some reading or working in a quiet environment, equipped with bar stools and a counter bumped up agains the window. Then you walk through a second door into a larger waiting area with comfy chairs and a couch, a large TV, LOTS of magazines, a Keurig with complimentary coffee as well as a mini fridge with complimentary coke, water, and juice. In a second attached room was a kid's play room with toys, a giant chalk board, and another TV and DVD player. The bathroom was clean and the female bathroom even had a nice diaper changing table, wipes and diapers. (We didn't look in the male bathroom) Up to this point the review is 5-stars. Unfortunately the following drops it to a 2-star in our opinions, BUT because everything else was so great, we settled with a 4 star.... We sat in the waiting room until 1:30 (90 minutes after our appontment time...for an oil change) when I decided to check on the car. The woman at the front desk went into the garage and came back in apologizing. The car had been done for a while but when the mechanic announced to the lobby personnel that it was done, no one heard and he didn't bother to verify that the message was received. The woman again apologized, I told her that is very frustrating when people say something without actually getting your attention first and just expect you to hear a random announcement made when you're mid-focus. (People do this to me at my job often!) Unfortunately this was very disappointing and frustrating to my wife and I as we had things to do on our Saturday afternoon and wasted I'm guessing 30-45 minutes sitting in that waiting room while our car was sitting in the parking lot with the work completed. With all of that being said, we felt Chloe's Auto Repair is trustworthy and honest, and we plan on using them for future auto maintenance and repair needs.

Also told me to book an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait as long and then proceed to take an hour to patch the tire (doubled down and told me 35 min at arrival). Needless to say this business did not listen to me when i dropped off the car and told them the reason my car was there. The mechanic shop called me to let me know they would like to charge me for something totally different than what my car was even there for. I had to remind them why my car was there, and the mechanic had to "instruct me" on codes and went to pull them while i was on the phone just for my vehicles dash lights to be illuminated right in front of his eyes. He then told me he would call me back the next day with another diagnosis. The following day he then tells me he finds an electrical issue which does sound like it could be the issue, however, when i get the bill its ridiculous.. I replaced my IG1 relay which at most is a $7.00 part and they charged me over $100 for parts needed.. and over 200 for labor.. when changing a relay takes 2 minuets. I understand diagnosing the issue takes time, however, it was the shops mistake diagnosing an issue that wasn't there and I shouldn't have been charged for that. Also. they told me they weren't charging me a diagnostic fee. So that price isn't from that. They Also let me know when they disassembled my shifter that they "cleaned it up", but when I got the vehicle home I took apart my shifter and it was not cleaned or did not look to be cleaned. My vehicle is pre owned and whoever owned it previously had dogs. The interior does not have hair everywhere any more, however, when I got into the shifter I found animal fur everywhere in the shifter and solenoid. So Id like to know where they cleaned. Just be careful if you come here. This mechanic shop will charge you for parts and labor like crazy even if they don't do anything.
