If you take pride in having beautiful nails, do not come here. I came to get a pedicure and dip manicure. My pedicure came out OK. I wasn't asked if I wanted my toe nails cut down, she just did it. My manicure is what matters most to me. I had a beautiful almond shape nail before she chopped them down. I asked for the same shape nail and it looks as though a little kid filed my nails. The manicure itself is horribly uneven in texture and I had peel the dip from under and around my nails because she wasn't dusting the product off between coats. It's been roughly a day and a half and I've already got a large chip. I don't do anything physical that would have my nails chip. I'm heading to my usual salon today now that I'm back in Chicago to see if they can salvage my nails. It's really disappointing to pay and tip for a manicure that lasted less than two days. read more

Cut the acrylics shorts than my natural nails, smeared power all over my finer that hardened and will not come off and did not clean the paint job so there is polish on my fingers. I went to T Style on a Wednesday afternoon. I walked in and it wasn't too busy. I didn't have to wait long as they have about 10 stations just for manicures. I had a nice tech named Kevin. I walked in looking for a full set of acrylics, but he recommended dip nails. Now, I will say I'm not that familiar with this new technique but I thought I'd give it a try. I did think I would be walking away with nails that had a tip. This however is just a different way of getting a colored polish on your own nail. I don't think Kevin fully understood what I was looking for. My natural nails are VERY short and this is why I get acrylics every few months. I have zero time to keep my natural nails long and love to have the acrylics put on just for looks. The color looks so different from the powder dip, that I think I would have gone with something else had I known this. Again, this isn't a negative review about the salon itself. I just think he didn't understand what I was looking for. If I go back, I will ask again for a full set and say NO to the dip polish. Very clean, very personable and wonderful staff. It did get busier as I sat and had my manicure. In the back I did see plenty comfy chairs for the pedicure stations. Overall, I would go back but would be more assertive that I was acrylics. read more

Do Not Come Here!!! Terrible Service! I've been coming here since this place first opened. It's a beautiful nail shop and obviously on the pricier side. I paid $33 for a simple acrylic nail, which I don't mind because it's a beautiful shop. But I came here and within 2 days two of my nails broke. Granted- I did not have a chance to call because I was away out of the country for a few days but as soon as I was back in Plymouth I called to let the lady know my nails were broken and they broke a few days ago. She then told me she would fix it for me which in my mind means without charge. After finishing my nails, she told me she's charging me 5 dollars. (She should of told me this before doing my nails.) She didn't believe me that my nails broke after 2 days. I told her that's fine but she will lose me as a customer. She was extremely rude and was talking down to me in front of everyone in the store. Gave me an appointment at 2:00. I was sitting there until 2:20 when finally they put me on the pedicure chair with cold water. Sat there for another 20 minutes while they kept saying that it should be only 5 minutes longer. The other woman kept telling me that they are busy and that's why it took so long. I told her why did you gave me an appointment at 2 then? You should've told me you don't have time when I called in the morning. The ladies who helped us were nice enough but rushed through the manicure, and completely ignored me when I asked for a nail to be redone (I had to insist). Left with extremely underwhelming results. Could have done better myself. I feel they did not care about our experience, it was a waste of money, and we will not return. Update: the tacky stickers that were poorly applied have fallen off mine and my daughter's nails. They look awful, and I need to now take off both out polish after spending $65 including tip. It kept bleeding so she stuck a bandaid on it and finished the rest of my nails. She said she can't paint the nail because it's bleeding. Charged me $40 and sent me out to dry. Born and raised in Plymouth, it is my duty to try all places, especially ones that have recently opened. I was excited to see that a new nail salon opened up in the plaza where I do my grocery shopping and also my clothes shopping... Over at Marshall's. I was looking for a manicure. It was one of those days where a manicure was almost a pain in the ass errand. I just needed a place that would take me right away without an appointment, make my nails look spectacular... All in about 20 minutes including dry time. That's exactly what I got. My first impression was not great as they were not very warm and welcoming. You were definitely just another face, no personal connection whatsoever. Otherwise, the experience would've been five stars because they took me right away. They had plenty of staff members working and many seats. I looked around and everybody looks happy and everyone's nails look great. I didn't do a pedicure this time around but I'm definitely going to go back and try it out. The manicure they did was so incredibly quick and my nails looked great after. They had a lot of different nail polish selections, which I appreciate because I never know what mood I'm going to be in. For my manicure is it's a week long commitment so it's got to look good. I also only use OPI because it's the only one that stays on my nails and doesn't chip.. I've been known to be a little bit picky. I believe the manicure cost me $15 with a five dollar tip. In and out, $20... 20 minutes. I suggest you go here if you're looking for a quick and easy, good looking manicure. I got a gel pedicure here and liked it, although less than a week in one had chipped. They let me come in and fixed it though, and it has since held up. The manicure I had was just ok. I felt like it was a little messy, but I like the color so I try not to care too much. I will see how long it lasts. Very clean and wicked nice staff. First time I went in the woman was great and my nails looked awesome and really took her time with getting every thing nice. Second and third time I went in I got this other girl who was lazy and half assed the appointment. The first time I knew was because she was running out the door with her purse while my nails were drying. The third time, same girl, my nails looked almost yellow and like I smoke after 1 day and after only a week the gel has completely stripped off the tips. She also was lazy with shaping the French tip using a tipped brush that was all split and it just didn't come out well and rushed again. I'm done with this place, they DO NOT listen. Second time I've asked for liquid gel and they started doing a gel manicure. My job requires me to wash my hands constantly Which is why I asked for LIQUID GEL. The first time I stopped them and they acted like it was my fault so not wanting to make a scene again today I just let them do the manicure. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I love it here. I brought my three year old daughter in for her first salon manicure and they were so patient and gentle with her. For myself, I went with a full set of acrylics done by Gina and I love them! She helped me figure out what exact color I was looking for since I normally have a pretty hard time doing that. The only thing I'll say is that they're a bit thick especially for the almond shape I have but that's my own fault for not specifying that I like them thin, so I'll do that next time. I really dislike giving negative reviews but I want to stop others from making the same mistake I did. The salon is very nice and looks clean, and I think a different stylist might have changed my opinion. My technician was Jan and it was a horrible experience from beginning to end. She was extremely unfriendly, so much so that it made me uncomfortable. She acted like she'd rather be anywhere else in the world rather than giving me a gel manicure. I told her I didn't want them cut because I was happy with the length, and that i wanted an almond shape. Instead she filed them very square. I asked her to fix the shape, and she filed them so short that they look awful. Also, my two hands do not match! I had to fix it when I got home. She cut the cuticles and skin on the side of my nails so badly that they bled and stung when I washed my hands. When she applied the gel, she didn't even cover the entire nail. I can honestly say I have never had a worse gel manicure. If you need to try this salon, just stay away from Jan. read more

Went in yesterday to have a "Pinterest design" put on my nails- I had a gift card. Everywhere I go always copies the design- no problem. I get dip nails. Needless to say it looks horrible and nothing like the photo I showed. I was charged $10 extra for "special design", which I get but it is horrifying that they even thought my nails looked okay. I went back today to have them redone, decided to do a different design, was greeted by a different technician and then the one from day prior took over to "redo" my nails. I cant even believe I was given the same person. No offense but she clearly can't do designs. I wish she would have just told me when I asked multiple times "if it's too hard I'll just do a solid color". My redo nails look horrendous again, the design is sloppy, there's paint on my hands and mixed together on the design as well as the colors don't go all the way to the edge of my nail. I requested dip nails, because I love how they last a month. She dipped the base then did the design in a gel coat- which she made super thick. I can move the gel if I touch it. So my nails are already ruined not even 2 hours after getting them "fixed". She also cut me twice on my fingers and made me bleed. I have a gift card which I would rather go to waste then ever have them do my nails again. I will never return. This was horrendous experience and the $55 I spent on my nails was a complete waste. Getting my nails done is a must in my 9th month of pregnancy. I saw some unfavorable reviews of this place but decided to try it it anyway since it was close to me and parking was easy. Wish I listened to the reviews. This place just downright sucked. From the pedicure experience to the quality of the polish. Nina did my nails and pushed for an upgrade.. Sure! I could really use a massage with my swollen pregnant feet, and emphasized removing the calluses. I didn't get a massage, just a light rub.. I glanced over in envy to the women next to me getting a pedicure and the lady was going to town on her feet!! Mine were barely cleaned up, and the polish was extremely sloppy. If I'm paying 50 bucks for the spa pedicure I expect more. Sorry. Pedicurist did try and make conversation with me asking when I was due and staying she had a baby at home as well. Which made me feel bad... I guess it's not her fault she's not good at pedicures. Gave her a 10 dollar tip, walked out paying 60 total and just felt ripped off. Took maybe a minute but cost $15.00. Put disposable flip flops on me but I had deliberately brought my own. Stuck me under dryer and never saw him again. Had me stick feet in tub without liner, never even dried my feet, and then didn't want to put towel on foot rest but I held my feet up until he got towel. Nice place, good services, and very clean. However, I wanted the basic $28 pedicure. I was asked what scent I wanted for the water, and lotion and I was never told it would cost more. When I got the check, I was charged $40 per pedicure. The place is nice but probably won't be back. I went in today and showed them a photo of nails I found on Pinterest and asked if they could copy it. They told me yes I got a male who never spoke to me never asked me how I was never told me his name nothing silence the entire time. I wanted almond shape short nails and I got oddly shaped long nails. None of the nails go all the way back so I will need to fill quicker. They kept asking me if I wanted gel said it looked nicer lasted longer but I really didn't want it. After repeating myself that I didn't like them he tried to do the design which failed to do so, so I asked him just to do some straight lines which also looked horrible when I went to pay they asked me if I liked it I said no of course not this is not what I came for The woman did help me she took off the nail lines and did do the design but it's still not what I asked for.
