Love the ambiance inside. I have been to T-Swirl at multiple locations and have reviewed another location but never got around to entering a review for the Bayside location. Every time I come here the crepes have been on-point, the coffee or cappuccino is always made right and it is great food. The staff is always extremely polite, professional, and accommodating. My only critique about all their locations is the hours. I wish they were open longer and earlier (especially since crepe is mostly a breakfast food). Their ingredients are always very fresh. Came here with the family on this rainy day/night. What turned out to be just dessert run became dinner as well. The kids loved the shrimp tempura crepe, but wasn't a fan of the sauces. If it wasn't for that they would have had a bit more. The mix berry crepe was a mini one and they both ate it up. I also ordered one for myself and it definitely did not disappoint. The smoked salmon crepe left me hungry, but eating that mix berry crepe after that was just right. My wife ordered the Angus crepe and she said it was good, and the meat was soft. We ordered at the kiosk. We ordered a Banana nutella crepe, matcha Azuki bean crepe, one chocolate ice cream, one green tea ice cream, and a green tea mille crepe cake. The ice cream was rock hard and the mille crepe cake tasted dried out and so stale that I had to ask for a refund it. The crepes were good though. The place was clean, very bright and pink. I saw someone hold a crepe when my bf and I were walking to our dinner spot and it looked so good I knew we had to go after. We got one crepe to share - the matcha azuki bean - and it was so good! The crepe edges were slightly crispy, the rest was soft and warm. All the ingredients went perfectly together. Service was very fast and friendly. Came on a Thursday evening and ordered at the kiosk. Only 1 person making and 1 person at the counter. My 1 banana Nutella crepe took 15 minutes. No exaggerating. Standing and waiting for 15 minutes feels like an hour and way too much time for a crepe. I had a craving for something sweet and living a block from Bell I had a plethora of choices. With above said, the counter girl was very courteous. The crepe was delicious and generous amount of Nutella and banana. Also just a note on the crepe, it is not the traditional eggy French style crepe. This is made with rice flour so it is less tender/eggy than the French style. I haven't had t-swirl in YEARS and decided to visit this (semi) new spot that opened up. Staff was extremely nice. They have mini and regular sized crepe options. I love that there is a mini version available, if you're not too hungry and want a quick bite of dessert. My go-to is the wild berries crepe, which i HIGHLY recommend. You can substitute out any fruits you don't like. I substituted out raspberries for bananas and granola for more pistachio. This place has gluten free options available as well, which a lot of crepe places in Queens lack. There is a really nice seating area in the back where you can hang out and eat dessert with friends. I ordered the Mini Crepe Brûlée (~$7). It comes with 1 fruit of your choice; I picked banana. This crepe is a play on creme brûlée in a crepe. That sounded absolutely amazing! I also got an Iced Jasmine Green Tea (free with Yelp check-in). Let me tell you, this Crepe Brûlée hit the spot. The crepe was filled with a rich custard base and had that classic layer of hardened caramelized sugar, with the banana slices incorporated in each bite. It was delicious and not overly sweet! Decided to give this a try because I love the crepes at cafe bench and fresco(Mineola) but hated the commute. I decided to order the matcha cream crepe and the Rose cream crepe for my wife. They both arrived perfectly packaged however the aesthetics didn't match the taste. I have never tasted not one but two crepes that were so terrible I stopped after one bite. The matcha cream mixed with raspberries and lychee was so outset it should have been a crime to even mix a combo so distasteful. I decided to give my wife's Rose cream a try, one bite again and I almost puked. It's uncanny how terrible the food was that i decided to write this review five minutes post trash bin. My stomach still hurts and I don't know if I'll ever recover from this experience. I may never see a crepe the same way again.
