Stopped by an hour before closing on Easter craving a few sweet treats before the ride back to Brooklyn. What a cute bakery? They had so many options left to choose from and I opted for the pistachio basque slice and my husband got the blueberry cardomom bun and chocolate chunk cookie. The flavor on the cheesecake wasn't artificial at all. It was creamy and decadent. My husbands choices were good too but the cookie was a bit too sweet for my taste. All in all -- can't wait to come back and try the croissants. Oh, and the cashier was super friendly and patient with us as we ooooh'd and ahhhh'd at all the baked goods. Such a cute spot for a date or hangout with a friend.
Pretty pricy for the quantity of froyo and its price per topping not by weight. The regular flavor is nice and tart, wish the cup was filled more. Need to come back for some pastries because they looked DELISH.
I wanted cold stone after my lunch but passed by this bakery and saw they were serving froyo, so I stopped in for it. Paid roughly $16 , the froyo was mediocre, it was the toppings that added onto the bill. They gave generous amount of toppings tho. I just wished it was served in a froyo cup, instead of a coffee cup, but that's just me.

A unique bakery located in Bay Terrace Mall, that sells Artisan coffee, savory and sweet baked goods, and a rotating seasonal selections. There's no easy way to categorize the options - think black sesame tahini croissants, cheddar twist pretzel (comes with a choice of dipping sauces), tarts, chicken salad sandwiches or salad by itself, spinach feta pastry and blueberry cardamon pastry just to name a few. Too exotic for you? That's okay... There's classic brownies, fudge cookies and plain croissants as well. There's even a focaccia and fruit topped pastries as well. I spotted a smoked salmon croissant the last time I was here. Seriously, I've been here several times, fourth or fifth by the time I post this review, and have tried a new item each visit. I think the rotating menu helps so it is not the same variety each time. But they do have everyday staples like egg and cheese, danishes, etc. I do like their lattes! It's a nice location and there are a few dine in cafe tables for your convenience. Enjoy! I know I did.
I ordered the tan latte on the square website and retrieved it roughly 15 minutes later. I noticed that at 4:45 PM, they were running low on inventory and there were not many pastries left. As for the latte, it was $8.11, which was quite steep. The cold foam on top of it was really good though. It tastes just like Irish cream, and the cold brew really needed that flavor. It was perfectly sweet and creamy. The downside is the proportion of ice to drink(too much ice). There were a few seating areas in the bakery and the ambiance is mostly calm. It's like any basic cafe.

I was excited to come across a quieter location of Somedays Bakery, which has become quite popular recently! This location was significantly more lowkey than the Manhattan locations. The interior was clean and bright, and there were a couple of tables in the back that people were sitting at with laptops. The pastries all looked good, and we opted to try a spinach and cheese pastry. While the texture of the pastry was great, it had barely any filling and the filling was not very flavorful. Perhaps the sweet pastries may have been better, but I will be checking out other bakeries the next time I am interested in a savory snack.
I tried the pistachio cheesecake and it did not taste good. It was burnt on the top. The staff were kind people. Patient. They did not take other customers when I was selecting my order.

Nice to be able to switch up from the usual French/Martha's combos. They do have some savory items that I'd like to try one day if I'm around during lunch time.
I just tried the new bakey café at The Bay Terrace Shopping Center in Bayside and sampled their Almond Croussant and their dripped coffee. Both were awesome! The croussant was just the right amount of softness and the inside almond paste filling was phenomenal. The best I've ever had. So delicious...As for the coffee...it was perfect. Good flavor, delicious and not bitter at all. My batista at the counter was most welcoming and helpful. The establishment was clean and aesthetically pleasing with 6 tables for seating which was comfortable. Definitely worth the trip out here!

I was surprised at the weight of the pastry. it was FILLED with the tahini paste. It was a little too sweet for me, but i enjoyed the croissant (super flaky). the pricing is on the higher end of pastries, but the assortment is done well and as described. for reference, a plain croissant there is $5 (same $ as radio bakery) whereas one from Costco is $1. for me, this was a one time try, but it was good to try the excitement for me post hype. read more

Drove 30 minutes here just to try their croissants- got the black sesame tahini, pistachio lattice & almond, for $26- quite pricey, huh? The black sesame tahini was my favorite out of the 3, it was pretty amazing- had a very unique, well-balanced flavor, not too sweet & crunchy with a subtle amount of chocolate inside. However, the almond croissant had way too much filling, which made it soggy & dense. And the pistachio lattice was my least favorite- the cream was overly sweet & the crusts was hard, not worth $10. But I would definitely come back again for the black sesame tahini croissant and also try the cheddar pretzel twist. read more
This is their 4th location. I haven't been to their other locations (Astoria, Long Island City and Montclair), but saw they were opening up closer to me, so I had to check them out! They are located inside the Bay Terrace shopping center, so there is a lot of parking. They have a few indoor and outdoor seating. I stopped by after work on their grand opening day (8/1/25). Unfortunately (for me, fortunate for them), they didn't have much left. They were very friendly and helpful. I did snag an Elote Danish, which is a new seasonal item. It was very crispy and buttery. Decent elote flavor, though could definitely use more kick and tang. I also got a complimentary drip coffee for the Grand Opening. I got it black. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but it smelled really good. Strong coffee flavor as well. Overall, a little pricey for what I got, but I'll be back to try the other items on the menu (especially the Black Sesame Tahini Pain Au Chocolate!) read more
I visited this bakery over the weekend in Bay Terrace for the first time. My sister was raving about their Blueberry Cardamom Sweet Bun. We picked up a variety of pastries which were very good. The Blueberry Cardamom sweet bun stole the show. It was light, delicious and not too sweet. The customer service was quick and the bakery was quiet for a Saturday evening. The decor was welcoming. I'll definitely return to try other options on the menu. I enjoy a great pastry. read more

Came across this cute bakery. Ordered the black sesame and it was delicious! $8 so it's a bit expensive for what it is but it was very good. Service was fine. Girl was nice but in the back when I entered the store. Came out a few minutes later. read more
Somedays has long been on my list try list and seeing the opening in Bayside, I jumped at th chance to try it. Arriving on Sunday around 3pm, there was a limited selection to choose from. The Ricotta and Spinach pinwheel(?) was absolutely scrumptious. The flavors worked so well today. Tomato and herb pastry was crisp with cherry tomatoes inside. It was herby, fresh and delicious. Blueberry Cardamom bun was on list of must tries, so was happy it was still available. A slightly sweet, blueberry forward flavor profile was wonderful. They also serve a ln excellent hibiscus iced tea. Somedays is a welcomed addition to Bay Terrace and is sure to leave you happy. read more

Adorable bakery with a fantastic selection of pastries and cakes. Came here on Super Bowl Sunday hoping to get some goodies, and even though most items were sold out, I was able to get a good selection to bring back. I love the savory items more, particularly the pretzel stick. The basque cheesecake was also very good. Service was friendly and prompt. The space is charming and welcoming. read more

I've seen Somedays in progress for some time and finally stopped there. I don't know if it's a great thing for me since I'm trying to be healthier, but not their fault their food is delicious. I only got a brownie my first time in. Brownies are my favorite, but bakeries usually miss the mark. This one was incredible. Dense, moist, fudgey. One of the best I've had! I had to remind myself to take a pic and also that I didn't want to eat the whole thing in one sitting.. Their prices are not low, but they're in line with current prices and quality. I can't wait to try all the delicious looking cookies, croissants and other pastries here. They have some items that are so beautiful and unique looking. Hopefully I can do it slowly, like 1 sweet treat per week... read more

Walked in and was warmly greeted by staff :) the interior is cozy and modern with a ton of natural light! Strawberry corn cookie was delicious! I loved that it wasn't too sweet. Everything honestly looked delicious and the drinks were made well. The only reason this wasn't 5 stars was because the pastries seemed a tad bit overpriced (in my opinion). While they are large-portioned and stunning to look at, it did seem a bit pricey to have them $10+ each. read more
Love this bakery! Came for opening day and was greeted by friendly staff and a display of delicious croissants and croissant sandwiches and desserts! The interior had seating and there's outdoor seating too! Very cute and beautiful decor! I really enjoy the spinach ricotta croissant, definitely their best item! The chocolate croissants is one of my favorites, close to feeling like you're in Paris! The passion fruit cruffin was good but the passion fruit was too much for me, I love the cruffin on its own (croissant muffin hybrid)! Definitely highlight is their breakfast sandwich, planning to come back for their lunch sandwiches which they said usually becomes available after 11am. Came for a sweet treat and the bakery was bright, clean and inviting. I believe this location opened recently. I loved the smores cookie! The texture was similar to a brownie and blondie turned into a cookie. We also tried the Argentinian croissant, Medialuna, which has a vanilla glaze which was flaky and crunchy - basically all the best descriptions to experience a laminated pastry! Cute space, fun branding, good service and creative pastries! Limited seating but there's a little courtyard outside where you can enjoy your pastry and coffee. I loved the pretzel twist (warmed) and my daughter devoured the chocolate chunk cookie which was actually not too sweet given the big chunks of chocolate. The black sesame croissant is a must have, I thought the blueberry cardamom bun was good but the cream cheese was a bit too overpowering. I will definitely be back to try other items! Can't wait to see the fall/holiday seasonal pastries! read more
This is my first time going to a Somedays bakery, and I'm glad it opened in Bayside as I've been looking for more croissant places near here rather than out in Manhattan or Brooklyn! I got the pistachio lattice and their regular croissant, and felt like they were solid pastries! read more

Somedays Bakery is a wonderful addition to the area. The pastries and coffee are delicious, fresh, not overly sweet, good size. The interior is very pleasing - modern, soft lighting, comfy. Spinach and ricotta toast was delicious, crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The sesame tahini croissant was way too sweet. The blueberry cardamom bun was also extremely sweet, but very soft. read more
I took a star off only because I wanted to try more and there were only a few croissant selections. The staff is very friendly and it's quite cute inside and outside. We ordered two of the same flavors - almond and chocolate. Almond won. read more
