Instead of approaching us discreetly or professionally, the owner's wife Patty chose to confront us publicly in front of other families telling us to read our contract, staring, and making us feel completely humiliated. Her tone and behavior were not only disrespectful but felt classless and racial. It was clear we were being treated differently because we rent a jetski slip rather than a boat slip and possibly because of who we are. We were made to feel like we didn't belong there, and that is unacceptable. There is no excuse for a business owner to treat paying customers this way. If this is how they operate with blatant bias and public humiliation, then people need to know. Families deserve to feel safe and welcome, not shamed and singled out. I will never forget how my family was made to feel that day, and I will never recommend this marina to anyone. Every paying customer regardless of what type of slip they rent deserves to be treated with basic dignity and respect. No one should be made to feel lesser than or unwelcome, especially in a family setting. I believe my family deserves an apology from the owner for this type of treatment and disrespect that we experienced. This experience left a lasting negative impression, and I would caution others to consider this before doing business here.

I personally told you on 3 occasions that the damage caused to the ski slips was a BIG problem. You said you would look into it and did NOTHING. You relocated the skis and poorly tied up the slips but didn't tie up a single ski to the slips! I did that myself last weekend, for mine and everyone else's. He did call me back and I forwarded off MFG drawings showing the measurements of the boat. He studied them and we agreed on a price. He allowed it could be done before Easter. Great so the transport truck came and the marina loaded the boat onto the trailer provided. Ended up being too tall on that trailer so Brook said he would dispatch a Low Boy trailer from the East coast, due to arrive within a week. No word after a week or so. I reached out to him and he allowed the trailer, he owned, was getting cosmetic restoration and wasn't available. Bear in mind we are now well into May. After some more wait time he allowed the brakes are now frozen on said trailer so he was going to reach out to another company in Wa to see if they could do the Low Boy trailer. The company is Associated and yes they can however they are booked and can't get it to me until second week of June. They bear no fault in this situation at all!!! Now the boat was taken off the first trailer by the TravelLift and has been accruing Layover fee's ( $1962.00) while we waited on Brook to resolve the issue. He agreed to cover the extra travel lift and layover expense. I have reached out to him numerous times to give him the chance to do the right thing and pay the boatyard what he owes. He has not responded. Also he was very poor at communication during the last months of frustration. He rarely did do what he said he would in a timely fashion. It's been like pulling teeth. So this review is posted not to drag his company through the mud but to simply inform potential customers. I'd suggest finding another company for your transport needs.
