I'd say that the bubble tea was ok. I ordered for delivery and although I got a blended ice drink, it was more of a regular juice consistency by the time it got to me. Looks like the driver made a few other stops before coming to drop off mine which results in the melted ice. I enjoyed the calamari and went with the second spice level which was pretty spicy I'd say! I do enjoy spice so really got it good with this ones. I was thrown off when I found a piece of chicken in the calamari mix though. The fried tofu is really good! I highly recommend that you get it and give it a go. I loved it and used to go here all the time as it was the first T4 closest to me. I went the other day and it was maybe right when they opened or a few minutes after. I ordered two drinks, both with boba. I get handed my drink then a couple seconds later I am informed that there's "no more boba" and it would be about a 15 minute wait for more. CLEARLY meaning I was given OLD/OVERNIGHT boba and they were hard to chew. If you're going to serve old boba, maybe try and make it less obvious.. read more

We love this place! We come here at least once a week! I've never had aloe in my drinks before and it's so good, adds a great texture to your order without adding too much flavor. We are huge fans of the Lychee smoothie with boba and aloe. Their wintermelon tea with boba is also a favorite. I love that their teas aren't made from powder and that the boba is always soft and chewy. I also love that you can order sweetness and ice level by their set percentages. The customer service has always been friendly, even though they're always so busy and taking/calling out orders nonstop. I think the only downside is that everyone loves coming here at night (myself included), which means I've had to keep driving when I see lines out the door. Delicious bubble tea, loads of flavors. Our favorites: Royal Milk Tea with Almond Milk. Adjust your ice, sweetness and add ins (boba or jelly). We also love their chicken and green beans w rice as a snack or lunch on a rainy busy day! We usually ask for "light" salt since the green beans can get super salty. Came back here a second time with my friend. She ordered the fried tofu and I ordered the popcorn chicken. I would have to say that I was more impressed this time. I think I ordered the wrong thing last time. I ordered the popcorn chicken meal and was not impressed with the value. They gave you more rice than anything else. I was smarter this time and just got the chicken. My friend who loves fried tofu (she orders it all the time from different places) commented on how delicious their fried tofu was. When I heard T4 was coming to Portland, I was really excited because I already knew T4 was such a well known chain. I was disappointed when I tried their drinks though. I believe T4 lacks the strong tea flavors in their drinks and also their quality of tapioca balls are also a negative for me. I do still enjoy the bubble tea here. Personally, my favorite drink here is the Royal Milk Tea. As for the food/snacks, T4 truly doesn't dissapoint. I absolutely love the popcorn chicken here and they also provide actually meal options with rice. I havent tried all the food because I always get the popcorn chicken but I will definitely get to it eventually. Although I don't love the drinks here, they are satisfactory. My partner went in and got me a strawberry milk tea with large boba after I had surgery. When he got home I noticed they gave him strawberry lemonade (and way too much boba - at least twice what they normally give if not more). The boba was really tasty and fresh. The customer service was terrible. He paid nearly $8 for a drink and brought it back. They were rude to him when they messed up; however, he just walked out without a care in the world (his mentality is not to let others get to him). I expect to be impressed by a soft opening. I ordered a roasted oolong milk tea with mini pearls. I love mini pearls and I think T4 did an excellent job with the texture and flavor. As for the tea itself, I ordered it with 30% ice and 80% sweetness. I found that even asking for light ice, they gave too much ice. And for the drink being 80% sweet, it was not sweet enough. I wish that the tea flavor was more prominent in the drink. It just kind of tasted like milk with a slight roast-y flavor. I also found that the music was too loud and so I could not hear the order number that the quiet girl was reading out. They could implement a better drink pick up system. Better than your average bubble tea shop. The sweetness level for this place has a good balance. My favorite flavor Winter-melon. -- it tastes like your "milk tea", a little subtle. I do like less sweet, with sea cream. Topping wise, I go with half crystal bubble and half custard(like a thicker flan) The sea cream is a little whip cream with a hint of salty and makes it extra creamy, Very tasty in my opinion. Picked up a few, and I personally didn't try them all. But from everyone they all thought that it is better than the other boba places. I've had their food and the Calamari is very good when eating if fresh there. The reason for the non 5 star is due to the order did get slightly messed up. I heard of reviews of their bad customer service and food/drinks aren't great in the past. I hesitated trying their food/drinks for the longest time because of that. But I just had to try and see it myself, and I'm glad I did. Every single item we ordered have been so good. Drinks are always good no matter what you order. Minus one star for popcorn chicken can be over fried sometime, it's so hard, and hard to chew. Fried tofu are very oily. Otherwise, we've been happy with T4. This T4 branch is not as good as the Beaverton one. Decided to try it out as I wanted to explore this area and I wasn't very pleased with the quality of the tea. Once again I ordered Jasmine Green Milk Tea with lychee coconut jelly. It was watery, not as smooth and creamy as the one I got in T4 Beaverton and it had WAY too many lychee jelly at the bottom. Also, the person working there didn't even mention about the punch card loyalty system they have. I sadly left my punch card at home but maybe I can claim my two stamps next time as I retained my receipt. Very good, REAL teas. We ordered a taro milkshake, honey green tea with coconut jellies, and a rose with boba. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the potstickers and basil popcorn chicken, which were both crispy, fresh, and tasted great. Clackamas, and Portland in general, are definitely upping their boba game. There are so many locations serving up boba and this one doesn't fall behind. To be completely honest, I never really went to T4 in California for their boba - they're more known for their basil popcorn chicken (love the fried basil!) there. But the drinks here didn't disappoint. My go-to for boba is usually the jasmine green milk tea. I like the floral taste and the lightness of the drink. Though to be honest, I can't really speak about any of the other drinks. I can't this place is finally opened!! I have been walking by this location ever since the business logo is out there and looking forward to its opening since. I couldn't help but visited this place every day during the first week because let's face it, boba is life. What makes this place stands out in this area is because of its 1) Greater selection on the menu 2) Toppings!! I love me those mini pearls! 3) POPCORN CHICKEN! Goodbye diet plans, because I have made so many more late night boba tea/popcorn chicken runs than I care to admit. My favorite so far is Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Mini Pearls, plus adjusted to minimal sweetness. I enjoy their fruit teas very much as well. It will take me awhile to go through other items on the menu (because it is that extensive!) but when it's so close to where I live, I can probably accomplish it by the end of this year. Just ok! I guess they're open late, so that's kind of a new thing for Portland. This is located near the Target and Nordstrom Rack in Clackamas. I ordered a milk tea with boba, which is typically how I judge a boba place. And it was just ok! Pearls were chewy but seemed a little off. Too dense? Not sweet enough? Not really sure. I had asked for my drink at 80% sugar, but it tasted more like 10% sugar.. I don't love my milk tea SUPER sweet, but this wasn't sweet at all. Not sure what when wrong here too. Came in on the third day they were open and ordered a jasmine green milk tea with tapioca, 80% sweetness level. The drink was just okay, the flavor was really bland and flavorless, so it really just tasted like lightly flavored milk... On the bright side, the tapioca was decent, large and chewy. I came in with my standards being really high because I've never had a bad experience with their other locations in California. An issue that really made me not want to come back to this locations was that I witnessed the owners of the establishment, be extremely rude to their workers. They were constantly scolding the workers to hurry up with the drinks and speaking to them in such degrading demeanor. This is extremely unprofessional, especially when customers can hear! It might be a good idea to train and orient staff before actually opening. I'd probably come back to try other drinks, but will wait until their drinks are more consistent and flavorful. read more

Horrible customer services! Every time I came to T4 there was a server named Cathy whom she always make me feel uncomfortable. When I asked her the ingredients of the drinks her face was unhappy and seemed like didn't care if I want to order that drink or not. She is very unprofessional. I have been to T4 many times but seeing Cathy few times and I don't really want to put this negative comments in the Yelp but she is horrible in customer services. This was my first time at a T4 and I was really satisfied with my experience. The menu had a variety of options for everyone's taste buds and they even had snack food options. I'm glad Portland is getting more boba shops with food since that's what I think of when I envision Taiwanese bubble tea cafes.
