I keep hearing horror stories of friends moving to new cities with no decent boba and would drive miles just to have some crappy boba in a random donut shop to satisfy the infamous boba craving. I'm glad I don't suffer the same fate. Thank god for T4! Moving from the peninsula and growing up in SoCal as a Taiwanese American, my expectation for boba is like Gordon Ramsay ordering beef Wellington at a restaurant or Julia Child eating your beef bourguignon. The boba I order better be al Dante and the milk tea, perfectly shaken (The tea can't over power the creamer and vice versa). Oh and milk tea with real milk is not hip and It is definitely not authentic (Thanks for making your milk tea with Coffemate, T4!) With that said, T4 serves some of the most consistent and authentic milk teas. There might be some Americanized drinks like the peppermint milkshake on the menu but it's Tracy! We came here for the first time and everything was amazing. We ordered several different drinks and foods and everything tastes great. We had Classical Rose Milk Tea, Panda Milk Tea, Kyoto Green Tea Latte, Taro Milk Tea, Popcorn Chicken, Fried Calamari, and Flower Buns with condensed milk. We loved everything, especially the Flower Buns. Customer service was great and everyone was friendly and energetic. We will definitely come again in the future. read more

There are better places in town for boba or shaved ice. I've been here a couple of times to take my son for a special after school treat... we placed our order, sat down, were served in a timely manner, then proceeded to enjoy our shaved ice. All of a sudden, about half way through our dessert, the owner/manager (I'm assuming) came to our table and said one of the toppings on my son's shaved ice was a dollar extra and that the cashier didn't charge us for it. I gave her this look like, "and what do you want us to do about it now?!" I mean the kid was almost done eating!! Clearly she came and interrupted us to collect the extra dollar! I apologized and said that I didn't know that, and that I just paid what the cashier told me to pay. After handing over the extra dollar, I realized what I should have done was pay her with the dollar I left in the tip jar! Who does that?! read more

Just tried this place for the first time and the last time. Went in to get snow but they said they don't have it, so all my husband ordered a rose milk tea with boba. Waited at least 25 minutes watching everyone who came in behind us get their drinks. Husband went up to ask about his order as well as order a milkshake and all the woman said was someone must have took his other drink. No apology or anything for how long we had waited. So another 15 min go by as he waits for the 2 drinks. Finally gets them and gets to the truck only to realize the boba he paid for was not in his drink. We 4 ladies had a very good outing went to tea for U for lunch our first time. I had Lychee black tea you must try it very refreshing. Cute spot but when I walked in the music was blasting! I wasn't fond of the menu placement because it is right by where people sit. The service was "ehh". I ordered. The people behind me ordered, yet they got their avocado smoothie before I did and I ordered the same thing. I don't see a sense of urgency in the service maybe because they're still new? I've been here a few times already. while i was here i was completely grossed out because the manager and one of her workers were eating food at the counter where they take the money. I've worked in the food industry before and its a health code violation to eat food while you work. If you are going to eat, you take a break and then do what you have to do. But its completely unsanitary to eat food on your front counter where you serve your own customers food. and it food that wasn't even from their own restaurant. i had a drink and it was good but i was completely turned off by them eating food while they worked. read more

In advance most of my friends said that they take forever to make orders, busy or not. I'm always down for boba so I didn't think much of it at the time. When My mom and I visited , it was super busy so I got a little scared. I wasn't in the mood to wait 30-45 mins on a few drinks. Thankfully, I only had to wait 10. This is the second time I've been to this place and still they make the tea and avocado pearl smoothie so bad I had to throw away after 2 sips. First time I bought the Thai pearl tea I asked for 30% sweetness but it turns out to be sweet as sugar couldn't drink it had to mix it with water so I thought I give another chance coming back for a avocado pearl smoothie and Thai pearl tea and an order of calamari was so so bad. The avocado smoothie I ask if they use fresh fruit they said yes turns out NOT very liquidy and taste was horrible ..the Thai tea this time 30% sweetness taste like water and the calamari omg so oily and soggy. My boyfriend and I stopped for some gas one night and were craving boba so I searched for a place close to the exit and that was still open at the time. I normally don't get milk teas but I decided to try their pearl milk tea at the standard sweetness and thought it tasted really good. I would come back again for it. My boyfriend got a mango smoothie, but it was more like a slush because it wasn't creamy at all and was very icy. Got my drink and you guessed it...STILL HAS ALOE IN IT!!!! At this point I'm irritated. My husband tries to change the drink and I say it loud enough so they can hear me.." Hands down the greatest boba place in the valley . I've tried the t4 locations in Stockton and Modesto but nothing really compares to this one . The owners are awesome ! They usually offer me food whenever I'm there ,last time they gave me free egg rolls ! Which were really good . Very friendly staff as well.
