My employer recently changed insurance carriers and, as you can probably guess, the new carrier refused to cover one of my needed medications. Dr. Sunny and her assistant, Bianca, worked tirelessly to help me negotiate with my insurance company. After much back and forth over several weeks, they were able to get my medication covered for me! I'm so grateful for their hard work and perseverance...I had almost given up hope. Charged incorrect copays, relayed incorrect times/dates and rarely friendly. I cannot have a refill for my thyroid medication unless I have an office visit. The medical staff is certainly more friendly than the admin staff, but it seems that they have a high turnover, as I don't think I've seen the same person more than twice, and that only happened once.

He didn't even want to learn new thing. He just offers the medication with known complications and high cost. In addition he denied me the refill prescription for my diabetes medicine because I canceled my follow up when my test results came back normal and I'm tolerating the medication well. So ethically a doctor shouldn't leave the patient without a needed medication and knowing there is no role for the follow up in my case!

I wish someone would revoke her license! There were so many red flags, but the last straw was when my husband was continuing to lose weight at a rapid pace, and she just gave him a lecture claiming he was pocketing the pills and not taking them. Immediately after that appointment, I started looking for a new doctor for my husband and I found Dr. Segu. Seeing all the positive reviews, I knew he would be the one to help him. Coming in for his first visit, I was nervous. Even though he had great reviews, I just wanted someone to help my husband. But all my worries went away when I saw Dr. Segu come to the waiting room, and happily wave at his wife when he saw her. Seems silly, but that showed me he was a kind person and had a heart. (Unlike my husband's previous doctor) When we went in, the nurse practitioners were great and so kind. It made the experience all the better. And Dr. Segu is literally Superman. He was our hero and saved my husband's life. Pretty much, my husband's thyroid was just killing itself and no medication was helping him. After some trial and errors, Dr. Segu decided he would need surgery. My husband was just one of those "lucky" individuals who had it so bad that he would need surgery. At one point, my husband had to make an ER trip because he had severe heart palpitations. Thankfully, a simple phone call to Dr. Segu's office made everything better. He quickly prescribed a new medication for my husband to take up until a little after his surgery. The thought of surgery was definitely scary. We weren't prepared for it, but Dr. Segu made everything better for us. He assured us everything would be ok, and he went above and beyond and recommended us an amazing surgeon. He even talked to him personally for us. What doctor does that? A great one that is! In the end, my husband's surgery went great, and almost a year later, my husband is back to normal and doing so much better. Honestly, if I didn't find Dr. Segu, I'm not sure my husband would be here right now. He was probably on the verge of having a thyroid storm, but Dr. Segu saved the day. On behalf of my husband and I, seriously, thank you to the entire staff and especially to Dr. Segu. You have assure my husband a long and happy life. We will forever continue to come here, and we will always recommend everyone, and anyone to come here.

Dr. Meadows performed major surgery on me a couple of weeks ago, and I'm home recovering for a few…read moreweeks. Not only is she knowledgeable and professional, but she possesses a loving and caring bedside manner that's second to no one. She takes the time necessary to answer your questions and explains things clearly. She equips you with information necessary so you have a clear understanding of your health challenges. She is kind and supportive and very thorough. A special shoutout to Heather for not only scheduling appointments and handling the paperwork necessary for my leave of absence from work, but for the care, comfort and support she offered every time I called and visited. Keep in mind, Dr. Meadows is an OB/GYN. Babies enter into the world when they are ready to be born, hence, Dr. Meadows may have to run to the hospital next-door to welcome a new arrival. So, be patient if you have to wait an hour. She'll be right back and so will I.

I just refused to return to such environment, there is enough toxic interaction going on in the world today that folks are having to deal with, I DO NOT have time or the energy for such rude, raciest individuals. I just walk away and find a new doctor. That simple. People have to remember it's not what you say, it's how you say it and let me tell you, body language and facial expression say a lot, just silently. I hate having to start over with a new doctor but, I'd rather my service be paid to a doctor who cares about their patient's feeling, it's called empathy. They have since refused to reimburse me for uber costs after a failed attempt to extort money from me. Please read below: Edit: they are lairs. Do not trust them!!!! Said the called the insurance in the morning. They never called!!!! 4 days without food and two cleanses for a ignorant lair to lie about coverage. They called on January 13th and that's all. Everything is covered. If you can't trust them to be honest with billing or making a truthful statement about taking action, do not trust them with your health!!! My insurance covers a colonoscopy at 100% and will be educating this provider and asked me to write a written statement about them lying while I was trying to obtain medical care and lying about contacting them again. Apparently they (insurance) are more concerned about lairs than this practice, especially when all they had to do was do what they said they would after being told by the insurance there was an issue. I've noticed a trend with Google reviews so everyone needs to document to get this doctor and it's surgery facility out of network Went in after my insurance said a colonoscopy was 100% covered. Front desk tried to charge me $400. I called insurance they spoke to the front office and confirmed it. Because I said cancel it if there is a $400 bill, they said they couldn't see me after 5 minutes to get my insurance on the phone. Keep in mind I had to prep twice this week, twice, because they decided to call an hour before the first appointment to say the closed and the first prep nurse didn't prep me correctly nor did the suggest a insurance covered medication for my prep but told me to buy over the counter meds that would have been more painful. Seems like from the reviews there is an issue with the billing department. Even my insurance said they should have just billed me later since insurance covers the procedure 100% which doesn't apply to the $400 copay. They then try to charge me $690 all together. Oh and the second floor was also shocked at the refusal to honor the scheduled appointment pet billing. Billing shouldn't be involved in appointments. Avoid this doctor and center at all costs.

I am only two weeks out from surgery but I can not be more happy with my treatment, results, after…read morecare, and follow ups! Dr. Hix and Dusky are AMAZING! They have called me after hours and holidays to check up on me and have given me the attention and reassurance I needed at times. Dr. Hix's pre surgical plan with antibiotics and nerve / pain meds 2 hours prior to surgery helped me get off of narcotics early in my healing process. I will remain on her service for several weeks until I am healed and scar maintenance is complete. I am beyond happy with everyone and will continue to shout it from the roof tops! Thank you all for making my first plastic surgery experience perfect!
