Update: Only after less than 2 months, I started seeing cracking in the paint in multiple places in my kitchen cabinets. I texted Teo the owner photos and asked him if he could fix it and he basically ghosted me and didn't respond back. From his point of view, I understand that he probably has other clients so why would he come back to fix it? It's the right thing to do but I know that time is money. If this was a year later and I saw cracks in the paint then I would understand and wouldn't ask him to come back to fix it, but it's literally only been two months! On the positive side, it did look good initially and it's still better than what I had before but I'm just a bit disappointed to see so much cracking in the paint for only two months. It has me concerned how the quality will hold up long term. When they initially came, the crew was nice so that's why I'm still giving him 3 stars. Attached photos for reference read more

Our HOA required us to paint the exterior of our home, and referred us to several painting companies, including TA Painting. I had all 3 bid, and TA's was the most competitive and also the most comprehensive during the onsite inspection and estimate. The results: The house was throughly pressured washed and painted. It looks amazing! Stucco cracks were patched, various defects in wood trim were fixed, and the paint job all around looks so sharp. Every details is excellent. Needed to have our house repainted after 20 years. Our HOA and many in our neighborhood recommended TA Painting, and for sure we've seen their vans around here. Got a quote from Teo and was definitely in-line with some other quotes we received. But it was the many accolades from neighbors that decided it for us. Teo was great with communication and quick to respond. They came and did power wash on a Saturday, prep work, caulking, etc on Monday, and finished the complete house by Wednesday. And I mean complete. All exterior walls, doors, garage door, window trim, etc. Very meticulous and detailed, and cleaned everything up afterward. My home in Fremont had a lot of deferred maintenance that I needed help with. There were multiple sheets of wood siding that had dry rot and was cracking and peeling. The large deck in the backyard needed to be pressure washed and stained. There was a drywall hole that needed to be fixed from a previous plumbing repair. Fortunately, these were all paint related items so I searched for a single contractor that could do this big project. I got three estimates from local contractors who came onsite to inspect the home and ended up selecting TA Painting. Teodoro was excellent at communicating such as when he would come out, the issues he saw, how we had to wait until the weather was good to start work, coordinating with my tenants and finally updating my on the progress of the work with pictures. The only thing to improve on is informing us more fully what was needed to prep the kitchen and backyard (where they did all the work). Teo was brief about this on the phone, so we ended up hurriedly packing things up on the morning they arrived, and would have liked to clear our patio furniture ourselves. I needed to patch drywall holes on the ceiling, walls, wall edges and paint my entire condo (ceilings, walls, doors, trim, baseboard and shelving in a couple closets and in the bathroom) before moving in. This seemed to be a 2-3 day job. I reached out to Teo on a Friday morning and he came by that afternoon for a visual inspection and quote estimate. We discussed the paint colors/types and agreed on a competitive price. He is very knowledgable about paint and recommended the type of enamel/sheen for the bathroom and kitchen vs the rest of the condo. Before I had gone with Teo, I have actually checked close to a dozen painters. I have spoke and received estimate from majority of them in person. While Teo is not the cheapest, but his estimate is very competitive based on the work performed. What made him stand out among the others were he was very knowledgable, detail, and upfront. I did have to email him a few time with follow up questions, but he was really quick to reply. When the work started, his team was always early and start work right on time. During the entire 6 days of work, he kept me on top on what have been done and what will be done the following day. I do have a bunch of rotten wood/panels that need to be replaced. Some gave estimate based on number of panels, regardless of their size. Some just eye balled without actually checking if they are truly in need of replacement. Teo checked each panel, let me know which is salvageable and which is not. For smaller panels, he also tried to combine them in the estimate so I am not ordering extra unnecessary panels. Since Teo removed external lighting fixtures (flood light, porch light, etc) prior to painting, I had him installed brand new lights in place (and applied the properly sealing around the base). No fess, no complain, no extra cost. What impressed me the most was Teo also follow up with me after the work have completed (and have cashed the check) to make sure everything were okay. The repainting of the entire exterior 2-stories house was completed on time, no extra cost, and the house looks gorgeous! I highly recommend Teo, and will definitely contact him again when I need to repaint interior of my house. read more
