Coming from North Jersey where I help manage a cigar shop, I always make it a point to visit as many shops as possible when visiting our daughter in Miami. While she and my wife were shopping, I came upon Coco's Miami location. First impressions were that it is an inviting shop with a few outdoor seats. Their selection is excellent and includes all price points. The fact that they have a bar bumped up their rating as this is not very common in New Jersey. The decor, like the entire shop was very clean, not cluttered with branding, which I find refreshing. I apologize for not recalling the manager's name, but he was very attentive without being looming. There were only a couple of other customers seated, but considering the time of day (1:30 pm) it is not surprising. We struck up a conversation about which cigars we both carry while I enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. As others strolled in, socializing becomes second nature. The prices are on par with what I'm used to, even for the more high end brands. In closing, I found Coco's Cigars refreshingly unpretentious, expertly balanced between "Mom & Pop" and "Snobbish". I bought my first Padron cigar here and it was excellent. It came at the recommendation of somebody working there. This is a classy place, but not stuffy. Very nicely decorated and there's plenty of high-quality and premium cigars in there. The smell of cigars is actually not overly strong compared to most older cigar lounges. Probably because they keep the door open also. Despite the heat it was nice and cool inside. I didn't stay to sit and have a smoke but I did enjoy the environment and the overall feel. read more

A great lounge in a nice area This is one of the better cigar lounges I've been to. The ambiance was amazing. The lighting, decor, and furniture all set for a cozy and comfortable cigar experience. The selection of cigars is not too big, but most of the cigars sold are highly rated and fresh. The owner Kinan is very friendly and kind. I had a pleasant time smoking a cigar and conversing with him. Make sure to order some espresso when you go to the lounge. I'm not too big on ordering coffee anywhere other than a coffee house, but my god the coffee served at this lounge is one of the best I've had. Overall great experience. I know nothing about cigars but I know good, honest service when I get it! Jose was very knowledgable and helped my Husband and I find a nice Dominican cigar as a gift for my in-laws. He even threw in a nice little card that we can dedicate to them and a few matchboxes as well. He took his time and wasn't particularly interested in selling us anything, but rather focused on finding us what we described we were looking for. He gave us suggestions based on a higher price-point for future, more special occasions. The store itself is very clean and a little warm towards the back because they do keep the cigars in large humidifiers. The cigars seem to be organized by country. Jose also offered us a small discount if we purchased the whole box of the particular cigars we were looking into since they were the last ones left, which is a nice deal. I don't see why we wouldn't come back here. read more

This place is a little hard to find because the mall it's in has multiple floors and no map, but it's on the second floor next to Chili's or the Cheesecake Factory. The selection was sub-par for a shop this size and the service I received was poor. The guy running the shop kept B.S.ing a pair of dudes about cigars even though a line of four customers had formed. Maybe he was high or something, but I felt ignored and had to wait for no good reason. So if you're not too picky and not in a hurry then you might be satisfied here, but I wouldn't go out of your way to shop here, there are better places around. read more

The shop was very clean, organized, and I wouldn't even be commenting if I wasn't just amazing with the level of customer service exhibited by the staff. Located right next to chilis in cocos walk. Its a cute little cigar shop not to big and they don't have a big variety of things. I did like there colorful lighters and the prices for them weren't to bad. The girl that worked there could have been a little more attentive and friendly but hey all we bought was a zippo lighter. Probably won't go back because I prefer bayside cigar shop and total wines little area of cigars but those are different reviews lol. read more

It's a little pricey because of the location, but if you look on Yelp, they have some great coupons and you can save the difference and more. Attention all yelpers this is a warning for anyone who is concerned about their time and do not want to waste any of it. This was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had shopping in my entire life. I cannot stress enough how bad this experience was from the moment I walked in to the moment I left the shop which wasn't very long. Let me start off by saying it was super ghetto they had very little selection and the manager seemed super intoxicated. All he was talking about is how much the rent was costing making disrespectful remarks about the women across the shop. He even tried to convince me to purchase some fake Cohiba Esplendido cigars claiming they were from Cuba. As a cigar connoisseur and practicing tobacconist I couldn't help to laugh at their attempts to upsell me. I hope they are not in business for long because they are stealing money from people who have no knowledge of cigars and seem to be taking advantage of even their employees. read more

I should start by saying I am not a cigar aficionado - but I do enjoy a good cigar. I walked into Coco Cigar in CocoWalk 2nd floor next to Cheesecake Factory and was greeted by a most friendly host. He asked me a few questions, how often do I smoke, what was I looking to do, was I going to eat or drink? He then offered a few options and was not pushy at all. He explained the price range and how the cigars were different. What I liked most was he wasn't just trying to sell me the most expensive cigar. He took his time and really 'taught' me about the cigars. Btw - the guys name was Mike, turns out he's the owner too. I highly recommend this shop. I asked about having a cigar of the month club or something like that where I can sample 2 or 3 cigars a month - he said somehting like that is coming soon! read more

Selection was very slim with relatively common cigars, after asking suggestion out of the man running shop(later found out it was owner) and being told certain cigars that I had was looking at where "the exspensive ones " so I obviously wouldn't be interested I guess. when I went to check out he then tried to accuse me of stealing merchandise I immediately emptied my pockets in defense and was more put off by his confrontational attitude I even offered just pay for the cigar he accused me of pocketing but he insisted on proving his point after he finally checked his inventory in the computer to end this goose chase he admitted I was right. but at that point didn't feel encouraged to spend my money at coco cigars being that there's plenty of cigars shops in the surrounding area that would be much more accommodating definetly sticking with bayside cigars very nice people that helped in anyway they could and had better prices and selection read more
