They also do not have a studio fee so what you paint is what you buy. They have tons of paint options and lots of stencils. I remembered where the Big Lots was from previous trips but that storefront was empty so I assumed…read morethe Big Lots must've gone out of business like the Target and the Joanns Fabric Store Etc. There have been so many businesses go out in the five years since I've been to town. But in looking for the Walmart, which was also MIA, I came across this Big Lots, also the Hobby Lobby. I went in the store and ask the first clerk I came across if I could ask her some questions while she was working and found out why the other shopping center was so empty and everybody had moved down here. Evidently there is a city project that may or may not happen but if it did it was going to use up the land those stores were on so they all moved down the way. That actually makes them closer to the motel I'm staying at which is fine with me because it was a bit of a drive to go all the way down to the Mounds Mall area to the craft stores. After talking and getting the information I followed the clerk's directions to the office supply section where I did not find the Scotch tape I was looking for in the size I wanted, half inch wide. I wandered around a bit after that and ended up finding a perfume knock off of my favorite fragrance, remembered that I was almost out of ibuprofen so I got that, a pretty lavender nail polish, some Q-tips, soap holder, and a Kirk's Castile soap that are usually $3 to $4 that they were selling for $1.20. Being so new, the store is clean and well-organized. Both Clerks I talked to were very pleasant and helpful
