Spectacular venue! Had a chance to play pickleball on their new courts, beautiful!! Had some pizza and drinks after and everything was very tasty. Just an overall great place to spend the day! Definitely go check it out!!!

First off the wine is amazing all the ladies in the group said it was their favorite and they have alcohol free beer options which I utilized on my first trip there. The service was great. We brought a ton of food. We were informed when we got there we were not supposed to bring in purse food since they serve food there; they were so kind and let us know if we buy some wine they won't enforce the rule this time (making us not get rid of again a ton of snacks and food). We were there from 11-4 and the property was beautiful we moved around as the sun moved and we were able to stay cool in the shade. The woman serving the wine was so sweet and well informed about the wine she was pouring. We did order 2 pizzas and they were also fantastic. Restrooms were clean all day. Service was fast. My new favorite spot.

The pizza was so good we forgot to take a picture

We came back for the Almond Blossom Festival this weekend and it was a blast! Great location, great food, great drink, great music and boy did we discover the friendliest cows. The folks that work here are very kind and lovely. They were overwhelmed with orders yesterday and they were still as lovely as ever. We loved our chicken pizza, nachos were yummy, cheese pizza was great for our vegetarian and the rose / beer were a refreshing treat on this rainy/ humid Sunday. Can't wait till next year!

After visiting a couple of venues, we instantly fell in love with Taber Ranch. We were sold on the beautiful rolling hills and open space. But what ultimately sealed the deal was their elaborate wedding package. Their package included a day-of coordinator (we were assigned Terri - more about her below), bartender, chairs and tables, handwritten seating charts, and of course, their signature red Cadillac for photos. On the wedding day, Terri and the rest of the staff at Taber Ranch went above and beyond to make us feel SPECIAL. For example, when I arrived on the day of the wedding, I dropped my bridesmaids off at their bridal suite and Terri was kind enough to follow my car to the parking lot and then drive me back to the venue site. Terri was such a sweetheart to work with throughout the entire process. She's a total professional and was "the calm" in all the craziness. My florist totally dropped the ball on the day of the wedding and was unable to set-up the table decor as promised. What did Terri do? She was all hands on deck and made it happen for me. She delivered all the small details. I gave little to no direction and the magic just happened. During and after the wedding, we received feedback from our guests and all of them absolutely loved the venue. They really enjoyed the large grounds to roam around (barn, bar, grass areas), lawn games, and many photo-ops, especially in front of the bright "LOVE" sign. Taber Ranch is an absolute dream venue with top-notch staff. I highly recommend having your wedding here. Picture credit to our amazing photographer - IG: shoualorphotos

This place is off the beaten path just the wee bit off of hwy 81. It's a really beautiful venue with country meets nature. You can do a wine tasting here or even have hard cider instead from hemly. They have a small menu here that they serve here, they have wood burning oven pizzas and charcuterie boards. Came here previously for a private birthday party for our son's father in law. They had Sucha beautiful set up for the party and a very nice well spread of artisan cheese, fruits, meats, olives, crackers and their own pepper jelly, balsamic vinaigrette and olive oils. Dinner was also delicious prime rib with horseradish sauce, mango Sriracha bbq chicken, roasted asparagus, hand mashed potatoes and mixed green salad. We had come back here again for St. Patrick's Day 2024 . They had a small specialty menu for that day and it was the corn beef sandwich with kettle chips and a Guinness brownie. We knew that they were going to have live music that day as well. We got there before everyone else and chose a corner spot outside under the patio. I like that they're sectioned off to keep the privacy between each parties, especially if they have pets, like us who had our English cream retriever. You go inside to the main area and you order your drinks and food and they will bring it out to you. You can definitely try the different ciders so that you're able to pick the one that you like they also do wine flights there. It was definitely a beautiful day with beautiful weather. It was nice to see that it started to all over filled out at the venue. We happen to be with our son his wife, our granddaughter, our daughter, and her best friend and her best friend's daughter, our dogo. The food was super tasty so good that we end up having to get another round and ordering ahead for our daughters friend just so that she was able to have it then we all share two brownies, which was a nice way to end the day. I like that the live music was in the background and it wasn't so loud that you weren't able to have conversations, it was nice to be able to hear everyone and just hang out and talk. It's spacious enough where you can get the dog up and stretch out their legs. I also forgot to tell y'all that they do have a small venue where they do weddings on the property as well, which is super cute, romantic, and very with nature . I love that they have picnic style benches outside. They have a covered patio. They have an indoor and semi indoor seating as well. A nice day, just to hang out with friends and catch up or even a nice place to take someone on a date or even having or celebrating a special occasion. We will definitely have to be back here again sometime in the future.

Rosé in my glass - Tasted very flat though :/. No one in our group was a fan :(

***3.5 Stars*** A stunning estate in Capay Valley! Taber Ranch's grounds are some of the prettiest that I've seen in Yolo County thus far. They also double as an event center, so it makes sense as to why their tasting room is so grand and charming. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the wine. Their wine didn't appease our palates, but we still had a nice time hanging out here. We arrived in the mid afternoon and the temperature had already began to peak. It was haaaawt!!! Luckily, Taber Ranch has several different tasting areas to choose from. We decided to sit on the covered patio area right outside of the tasting room. This room had ceiling fans and was outside, but didn't feel like it was outside. The air conditioning was a little too cold for us inside, so this was perfect. I loved the antique-ish decor that they had in this room. Antique tables and chairs, and each one was very unique. Diana (I believe this was her name?!) was our host, and although she was really sweet, she didn't tell us much about the wine. She basically just stopped by to pour and that was it. We finally started asking questions and she was able to answer a few but kind of struggled with the basic questions about their vineyards and the history of the winery. I'm sure some people don't really care about this, but as ladies who taste pretty often, it's become the standard. Maybe she was new or just nervous, but educating the staff about the wine and the history is really important in my opinion. As far as the wine goes, we were not impressed. In fact, we had to pour a few of them out completely. We didn't enjoy anything really. Could have just been our palates, but I know that the winery portion of the event center hasn't been around for too long. Maybe the wines are just a bit young and need to age more. Who knows, but we just didn't like them. We did enjoy the pizza and charcuterie board though. Now THOSE were scrumptious! We ordered a cheese and charcuterie board, Margherita and a pepperoni pizza. The pizzas were both really tasty. They were wood fired and had a nice crispy crust. The flavors were wonderful. Their cheese and charcuterie board was fabulous! First of all, the portions on this are insane! I'm so used to getting super tiny boards when I go to wineries nowadays. But Taber Ranch truly hooked it up! This board was filled with an array of different meats, cheeses, fruits, and nuts. We didn't even finish the whole thing, but it was so lovely. Luckily, they have boxes so you can take the leftovers home with you. Even though the actual wine was a miss, the atmosphere was really fun. We even chatted with a few locals who raved about them and a few other tasting rooms nearby. Really glad that we were able to stop here for a tasting during our trip.

Food, music and wine! Taber Ranch Vineyard was a little over an hour away from our home in Roseville. We made it here just when a live music band was about to start... you know what goes well with wine? Music! okay, that's just me but I know some will agree :) Only my hubby participated in the wine tasting pours this time... Kyle was great and informative. As for me, I chose to eat!! I did get a sip when it was time for the 2020 Rosé of Tempranillo sampling (notes of sweet strawberries and vanilla custard and aromas of fresh baked sugar cookies) mmm, yes, please... We ordered two 10" wood fired pizzas from their menu -- The Classic (cheese w/ mozzarella & Parmesan) and their Pepperoni Supreme (pepp w/ mozzarella, bell pepper, red onion, green olive, mushrooms and Parmesan)... hold the bell peppers and the red onions, please. The compound is huge with an open patio under a roof structure w/ ceiling fans and heat lamps (for cold weather), nice, manicured lawn, a section of picnic tables. The tasting room is very spacious but guests of the winery today (including us) hung outside in the patio where the band was playing. Just on the other side of the parking lot are the vineyards and the event center. We took some photos at the vineyard. We purchased a bottle of the Rose and was able to apply a 15% discount to our wine and food purchases. It was an enjoyable Sunday Funday afternoon at Taber Ranch. Review #2266

As I was venturing out through the scenic landscape of California's wine country, my second stop of Yelp's "Passport to Yolo County" was none other than "Taber Ranch Vineyard". Located in the Capay Valley off of Road 81, this was my 2nd stop that I visited. Arriving here was fairly simple but expect getting your vehicle a little dirty as there is an unpaved gravel road that stretches about one mile which is fairly narrow before your get to the parking lot. Since it was a blazing hot 99° afternoon on Saturday 6/26/2021, I decided to sit inside their amazing tasting center. This place is beautifully decorated with classic relics that take you back from the 1930's to the 1950's. Included are a beautiful vintage sofa & chair, a military wall showcasing a soldiers uniform, and dazzling canvas prints. There is even a nice outdoor patio area with covered seating, and an amazing picturesque view of the Yolo County vineyards. This place is also a popular destination spot for couples to tie the knot and get married with the beautiful, lush landscape surrounding the winery. During my visit, I was helped by Kyle, one of the knowledgeable Taber Ranch employees who explained the harvesting process that is used with their wines while explaining each sample that I was ready to feast my taste buds on. As part of the Yelp Passport, I was given six complimentary wine samples during my visit. This included the (white wines); "2019 Sauvignon Blanc", "2018 Chardonnay", "2020 Rosé of Tempranillo", and the (red wines); "2015 Taber Ranch Red", "2016 Syrah", & the "2016 Petit Verdot". I must say, I was quite impressed with the crisp, aromatic flavors that each of these wines possess. I am not the biggest wine person but many of these definitely were a pleasant surprise to my taste buds. The overall ambiance that this place offered was outstanding while Kyle checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying every last sip. I even bumped into some fellow Yelp friends during my visit which made it all the more special. Even though I was still filled up from lunch, I must say that their food offerings look equally as impressive. They carry a nice assortment of wood-fired pizzas, a Charcuterie board, and a small assortment of beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options such as soft drinks and apple juice. Overall, "Taber Ranch Vineyard" definitely exceeded my expectations. Amazing service, award-winning wine, and a memorable experience. My rating, a perfect five stars.

This was my second stop for the passport to yolo county event. Wish I had more time to spend here! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Loved that they have fans in their outdoor area so even in 102 degree weather, I would've loved to sit outside. Even saw a cute family of quails running around. As for the wines, loved that it's a full range tasting and includes reds+whites! I agree with another review that the glasses that they are served in are a little weird but I like that you don't have to necessarily be near the bar or have someone find you for your next wine in the tasting.

Passport to Yolo Wine Country stop 1/2 on Sunday, 6/13. First, let me just reiterate what a great idea Yelp Passport to Yolo Wine Country was. Thank you Alex L, everyone at Yelp, and the participating wineries for letting us become acquainted with some of the hidden gems in Yolo County. Even though places like Zamora and Brooks are not what comes to mind when wine is mentioned, some true gems can be found in most unexpected of places. Since out of all the wineries included in the passport, Taber Ranch and Seka Hills were the farthest from us in distance, we decided to kill two birds with one stone and combine the visit. Out of the two I liked Taber Ranch better. It is located just before Cache Creek casino on the back gravel road that takes you to the tasting room and the event center. We mentioned Yelp Passport to a friendly staff and received two flights of their wines without any questions or issues. There was a good mix of whites and reds and I really liked the presentation with the mini glasses and one large tasting glass. Surely saves time and makes experience very casual. Since we came on Sunday, the tasting room was fairly busy and they had pizzas from the brick oven (very good!)+live music as a bonus. The ambiance at Taber Ranch is very laid back with a lot of space. It's a perfect spot to just relax and enjoy some great wines. Out of the ones we tried, their Sauvignon Blanc was very delicious and we had to take a bottle home. All in all, Taber Ranch was a great kickoff to an epic event and wonderful place to visit, all within less than an hour away. We will surely be back.

This place is a little hard to find- it's off a small gravel road with only a tiny sign to indicate where to turn. The road also isn't wide enough for opposing traffic to come through, so be careful! Once you turn in, it's a gorgeous looking place. You can smell the wood fire oven, too. We elected to sit in the tasting room inside for the AC. It was over 100 degrees today, so that was nice to have. There's so much to see inside, too. The wall decor is interesting and there's definitely a lot of history here. Kyle assisted us with our tasting and was great- friendly and informative. We also got water, served in a glass bottle and ice cold. We also bought a margarita wood fired pizza, which was delicious. This is one of the larger tastings we've done on the Yolo wine passport- 6 wines! There were a good amount of people but the two people on staff made great timing to make sure we were doing well and keeping up with our tasting. A great experience and once I would come back for if I was in the area!

Taber Ranch is so beautiful and the workers are fantastic! I came in last Sunday with my husband, sister and 3 of her friends. We didn't have a reservation but Sarah & Kyle were sweet to help us. We quickly ordered food and got our tastings settled! Here's our review of the food: Pepperoni supreme pizza $16 - basically your standard combination pizza, was exactly what we expected but wish there was bigger toppings Margherita pizza $16 - classic done right, absolutely delicious Mexican strewn corn pizza $16 - so delicious! Definitely our favorite and very surprised about how well the pairing is, a little sweet but also tangy Meat Charcuterie $25 - an absolute hit! The position was perfect for the 6 of us and there was plenty of variety, pepper jelly was our favorite on the crackers For the wine, I lean towards more white wines and I really enjoyed their Sauvignon blanc. It was really refreshing. Their reds are much heavier, and I wasn't a fan but our friends really enjoyed them! The views are gorgeous on the back patio and the space is so open. It was a very relaxing experience. We were only there for about an hour and it felt very quick. We sat, ate, sipped and left because it was so hot. We noticed that they had fans more inside the venue and we were left to desire some cooking in the back patio. I was surprised they had absolutely no fans in the back...maybe something for them to consider! I really enjoyed my experience, thanks to Sarah & Kyle being so sweet. They answered all our questions and frequently checked up on us. With a bottle of Savignon blanc, Rose and Chardonnay to go, I was a happy gal.

What a gem to find out here! Taber ranch starts of as a nondescript dirty road, but once you drive up it's a thing but that! We decided to visit this place on a blistering 108 degree day but that did not stop our enjoyment of this place. The interior has a nice rustic quality and also pictures of Taber and Armstrong's family military history encased in shadowboxes. It was nice to get a feel of the family history. The rest of the interior was a few tables and some comfy sofas. While on a hot day like this, most would seek shelter inside, we decided to brave the heat to check out the patio. It was hot but they did have a couple of fans to help cool us down and the patio was nice and sheltered. I really love the setting available outside and the private seating areas throughout. Looking out into the orchard there was even more seating. Definitely a place I can spend a lot of time on a cooler day! On the service aspect, we were here for the Yelp Passport to Yolo County wines so we enjoyed some wine tasting. Our server was great and extremely knowledgeable and even told us more about the history of ownership and what other facilities they have. The event center was an awesome venue. It looks like they had set up for a wedding so we got to see the reception area and the ceremony area is at the top of hill with nice views of the area. This places is definitely great for a nice private wedding but still able to hold quite a few guests. Do yourself a favor and check out the events center. You won't regret it! Definitely on my list of places to visit in the fall and another example of why you shouldn't sleep on Yolo county Wines! Thanks Taber and Yelp!

Would like some ideas on where people's guest stayed... woodland, cache creek also did anyone supply transportation for there guest?

Cache creek is expensive and u should probably TRY and make reservations 6 to 8 months in advance. Woodland would be cheaper.

I recall on my first visit (many years ago), they were selling olive oil and tastings only. Fast forward to present day, they have expanded to include wine tastings, and selling balsamic vinegars, wines, honey, beef jerky, and nuts. All local grown from Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation land. Very cool. They also sell kitchen and giftable items; and serve food made to order and also offering prepackaged to go. The staff are always so kind and helpful. The building and brewing facility is a beautiful architectural design. Even the outside landscaping and patio area are thoughtfully designed. The views are gorgeous overlooking the adjoining almond and olive orchards, and the Valley. The kind of scenery they put in sappy Hallmark movie backdrops. So darn lucky to live within driving distance. I have not tasted wine here before. But have tasted their olive oils and vinegars. Mmm. Actually we picked up some bottles since they had a sale and marked down some bottles from the prior year varieties. My favorite flavors of SH olive oil are Arbequina (classic EVOO) and Frantoio (this one has nutty, herby flavors with slight pepperiness). It's right off Route 16 and super close to the Cache Creek casino resort which is also a Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation venture. So if you happen to be at the casino, drive less than five minute to the tasting room. Plus if you need a rest stop for a restroom, Seka Hills tasting room has real nice ones.

The owners are nice, modest folks who know how to make good wines. There's no snobbery or airs, here...just a friendly atmosphere and and a limited selection of varietals. I will state that my taste in wines tend to run towards the dry with emphasis on fruit.rather than too much toasted oak. If your tastes are similar, I daresay that you might find a bottle or two here that you can enjoy. When we were there today, they had a fruity, dry viognier, a nice tempranillo, and a cabernet sauvignon blended with a little petit verdot that I liked. The cab did not have harsh tannins that overpower, but just enough to be present without interfering with the almost jammy fruit. They had a syrah, too, but were sold out of their sparkling wine. I ended up buying a mixed case to take advantage of their fall sale. (Lots of wineries do this in order to make space in their cellars for the new wines they'll have once the crush-harvest season is over.)

As a master gardener who has heard many, many presentations and visited many venues over the years, I was impressed by Sherri and Richard's love for, and commitment to, this farm; by their captivating, informative, and interesting presentation; and by their hard work and high standards. So much has been achieved in a short time, and their hard work and integrity shows in every aspect of this property. Thank you for a wonderful morning, a fun and fascinating learning experience, and a lovely memory for our group. You are an inspiration and we wish you every success!

The Saturday that he drove us, he knew there was an event, so he made sure to pick us up earlier to ensure we wouldn't be late to our first wine tasting. Throughout the day, he made sure we would have enough time to get from one winery to next. Second, Jim is a very safe driver. We rented a Tesla for the weekend, and he was able to drive the car without any issue. On top of that, he very nicely offered to charge the car for us, so we wouldn't have to do that the next day. Third, Jim is very knowledgeable. He knows wine and knows what winery would suit our taste. He has a wealth of knowledge about wine, and it was super fun to talk to him about that, which goes into my fourth point. Jim is very friendly and polite. It's extremely easy to talk to him, and we felt super comfortable right away. I am so glad we found Jim, and we'll definitely come back to him again the next time we're in Napa for wine tasting!

Whereas other vendors simply do the driving he coordinated all of the tastings, got us the best tables with prime views, and even booked a last minute dinner reservation at a highly desired establishment. All the managers know him by name and it's refreshing to walk up to a winery and truly feel like a VIP. The cost was nominal when looking back at all the planning and coordination it would've taken to replicate our itinerary. Not to mention driving to each winery during what most don't realize is a pretty long day if done on your own. Instead it was one of the most relaxing experiences ever and something you should all highly consider if planning on visiting more than a couple of wineries in a day. Highly recommend reaching out to Jim he carries great pride in what he does and goes above and beyond to ensure the Napa experience is unforgettable!

I love the chill atmosphere and the ease of just finding your way around the casino to get to food, shops and your hotel room and the event center. It's all straight forward. (Thanks for being so diligent). customer service has always been great here. 5 extra points for the cafe serving some Filipino dishes and 10 extra points just for their steakhouse alone. Rooms are always clean. And the bathrooms are to die for. It just was a bit off-putting bc this trip my sister took us in, the room we got, as we FIRST ENTERED, just a huge waft of weed smell. and it didn't go away. other than that- amenities were great!

Doors open one hour before showtime and close one hour after show starts; only re-entry is allowed after doors close. To attend any show there, you must be 21+. No photography or recording of any kind is permitted during the show (this was included in a Know Before You Go e-mail but NOT announced right before showtime). Mom's Mother's Day gift was tickets to see Filipina vocalist Morissette Amon's June 13th sold-out one night only performance of her Ember Tour. From the event description: Morissette is a Filipino singer and songwriter nicknamed in the press "Asia's Phoenix". She gained notice as a runner-up in TV5's Star Factor at age 14 and made her theatrical debut in 2012 as Mitchie Torres in Repertory Philippines' adaptation of Disney's Camp Rock. She received wider notice as a semi-finalist in the first season of ABS-CBN's The Voice of the Philippines in 2013. In 2015, Morissette released her self-titled debut album. It was certified Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry. The accolades for Morissette's music and performances have included two Awit Awards, an Aliw Award, six PMPC Star Awards for Music, and 38 Wish 107.5 Music Awards, the most such awards of any artist. With ticket purchase, they did provide an optional promo code for 15% off a room reservation valid only for the night of the event if you were interested in staying over. Tickets were non-refundable and managed through an Etix account. Delivery of tickets wasn't available until 5 days before the event, and could be printed or added to phone's digital wallets. From the parking garage elevator, you did have to walk through the gaming area and past the eateries to get to the Event Center. Outside the security checkpoint, the closest restroom that I saw/used only had 2 stalls. Once you get past the security, then the Event Center and ballrooms have their own bathrooms. Ushers were good showing you to your section/row/seats. These were metal cushioned interlocking chairs, no armrests, seat number labeled on top. We were in SEC 5, Row BB, Seats 61 and 62. This wasn't bad at all to see the stage, plus they had the big screens on either side too, although unless you're in a group, unfortunately you can't choose your neighbors. 2-hour show, no intermission, one artist outfit change, acoustics were alright, special effects and lighting were cool. As I mentioned before, policy says no photography or recording but even though we got there when doors opened at 7pm, there was no general announcement/reminder before the show actually started. So, for the opening Tagalog song, many, many folks were recording video. The ushers and security swooped in, pointing and making big "X's" with their arms to get people to stop. At one point, security escorted Morissette down/through the audience aisles during a song and then fans were again taking photos and video and selfies as she passed by. I wish they would at least allow maybe the encore song or something, especially in this modern/social day and age, or a designated photo op. It was great to catch Morissette live for an unforgettable night of powerhouse vocals and pure emotion! She did maybe 4 English songs, a couple Bisaya songs, and the rest were Tagalog. Her 15 years in the industry were well-represented and songs ranged from romantic ballads like Akin Ka Na Lang and Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw to Secret Love Song, Defying Gravity, I'll Be There, and Rise Up. Jo Koy is also coming August 21-22, but those are also sold out!
