Heard about this place and decided to try for lunch, with my friend. Great atmosphere -spacious, nicely furnished and inviting. The staff was friendly and responsive. I ordered the hummus and crudités appetizer - great presentation and delish! They have a full bar - With a nice selection of custom beverages. Very decent breakfast/brunch spot. Clean and fresh. I like the simplicity of the decor. Menu is small but what from what I have tried, it's done well. I had the 33 plate. Two eggs scrambled with three slices of bacon and toast. I did have to ask for salt and pepper. No additional condiments were offered for my plain toast. For a simple breakfast, it did take a bit longer than expected. No issues as we weren't in a hurry. Food was hot and tasty. I requested a side of bacon jam for my toast (so good). My only true negative is they offer no artificial sweetener for coffee/hot tea. Big negative for diabetics or those on low sugar diets. Would absolutely dine in again! read more

Passing through Dayton, and this has been one of the highlights. The service was top notch from the moment I came in, till the moment I left. The vibe was awesome and my server, Christina, was very personable. She gave me the best recommendations. I had the breakfast sandwich and Hulk (juice) for breakfast. Wow! Literally the best quiche I've ever had. And, I cannot get over the fact that the crust is gluten-free. How is that possible? It is so flaky and delicious! When here, you must try some dressed greens. Their vinaigrette, house-made, is outstanding. It has just the smallest touch of heat which makes it divine. Also had the plate 33. This was really good but The eggs were slightly overcooked. You know how when you go to a restaurant and have a hard time determining between over easy and over medium? Well, if you are a "make sure the whites are completely cooked but that's it" then you want to probably order over easy. The coffee, oh the coffee! A never ending cup and it is so delicious. As they have been open now for three months, and still have not gotten a full menu, I have to review off of the few items that they have. The items that they have are good, but pricey and they don't always have everything that they are supposed to have. For one of the few full service locations in downtown Dayton, you need to have a full menu to serve the people that work downtown, one sandwich, one salad, one soup, and a few quiches are now going to satisfy the masses, even if they are quite tasty. read more

I had a bit of a mixed experience here. My family and I did our research as we are not local and read a lot of great reviews for Table 33. We went on Sunday for brunch and immediately fell in love with the decor and the ambience. A lot of time and attention to detail was obviously given to Table 33 and it is awesome. To my disappointment, the restaurant had ran out of Bloody Mary's. Obviously they are very popular but how does the staff not plan for having extra ingredients and supplies on hand for a Sunday? I had another drink and it just didn't hit the spot for me. Next, we ordered our entrees and appetizers. We had the Pimento Cheese and it was extremely delicious however, our waitress took our appetizer before we were done. No one asked to have it removed from the table, or was it finished. She just took it. We assumed that she was just clearing space for our main course but that was not the case. We waited another 15 minutes before our food came out (not complaining about how long the food took) so that was not the case. Maybe she was trying to rush us out? Not sure. When our main course came out, my wife's dish, the Biscuits and Gravy had bacon in it (she doesn't eat pork). She was told initially that the dish did not have pork, just the chicken sausage which contains chorizo flavoring. I had the chicken and waffles and I was extremely underwhelmed. My waffles were undercooked and the presentation was lacking. The waffles which came with the children's menu looked more appetizing. My wife and I ended up switching dishes because truly, we didn't want to complain and it was an easy fix. I eat hers and she eats my dish. I still felt compelled to tell the manager. The manager was extremely polite and understanding. In addition to a very sincere apology, he credited my wife's dish. He DID NOT have to do that considering I was the one who ate it. His actions were above and beyond and turned a negative experience into an overall positive. Not sure if we will be back but if we consider it, the actions by the management will surely merit us giving Table 33 another chance. read more

This is a great place to dine if you have theater tickets for the Schuster Center. The restaurant is located just about a block away from the theater and they have a special $45 in 45 minutes deal that includes an appetizer or salad, entree, dessert and glass of wine. The food was excellent. You can definitely eat for less but a salad, entree and wine will run around $45. The gluten free brownie and ice cream was well worth it! We loved the adobo chicken as well. This was a jewel find!!! Almost every single item on the menu was GF!!! I had chicken and waffles on the recommendation of our waiter. So good!!! It has been so long since I have had either. The chicken was juicy and perfect. It is rare that there is a place that puts this much care and love into their food- I am kind of a restaurant snob- but this place is over the top. They also use local food sources. I did over hear the chef discussing with one of the kitchen staff that they were considering discontinuing using GF flour. Today was my second visit to Table 33 and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is a modern farm-style that is rustic yet cozy and inviting. They also have yummy options for those with a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences (vegan, vegetarian, GF, DF, etc). A friend of mine coordinated a graduation brunch here and the staff was very helpful and accommodating for our party of 13. Our waitress, Rebecca, was very attentive and answered all of our questions and requests. The freshly-squeezed mimosas are so fresh you'll regret not getting a carafe! I ordered the breakfast tacos with sweet potatoes which came on little homemade tortillas and were delicious. The sweet potatoes were caramelized, and the eggs, cheese and cilantro on top made the tacos. The only con was that they were on the small side, as many of the dishes here are, so make sure you order an appetizer or small side to supplement if you are really hungry. But overall, I highly recommend Table 33. I will definitely be going back soon! read more

Table 33 is lovely inside, they've done a great job with that. I also really enjoyed the food! My quiche was great, and I love that they serve greens instead of potatoes like most places. Very yummy!! I would give a 5 start rating if it weren't for my extremely poor service. We made a reservation for 5. There were multiple empty tables around us so it was not that busy. We weren't acknowledged for drinks for 10 min. Then only half of us got our drinks with my father in law not receiving his Americano until after our meal was served, in which case we had to ask again for it as our server had still forgotten. The time between ordering drinks and food was again far too long. The food was amazing, but then again It took forever to get our check. My daughter wanted a muffin but our server took so long to come back it became irrelevant. Then we finally got our bill and again.....waited forever. The food and atmosphere were great, but the service really ruined it. When you're spending $70 on breakfast that's not acceptable service in any way. We may try it again, but this was a huge turn off for my family. read more

We were here for the first time at dinner and had wonderful service and food! We had a special season acorn squash salad plus gnocchi with salmon and New York strip steak. All were extremely flavorful and hit the spot. The wine list was sufficient and reasonably priced. We also had live music that was not over powering, with a great play list. I am not sure I would even give this one star if I did not have to. This was nothing short of horrendous. Arrived at the restaurant to a short wait, about 15-20 minutes. We were sat at about the half hour mark and were greeted pretty quickly by a smiling server. This was were it all went downhill. We ordered drinks and sat for about 15 minutes waiting on them. A couple of coffees, a coke, a cold brew and some waters. We were informed by our server after the coke came that she was waiting on water glasses? Ok then bring us the rest of the drinks. This is where things got really strange. She took our orders which included two items that were apps and 4 entrees. A half hour goes by then she shows up at the table and said she put the order in wrong and our food would be out before our apps. Another half hour goes by and I go to the podium and speak to a young man who really gets right on it. He comes to the table and fills our coffee and gets the manager. The manager arrives then proceeds to tell us that our food is next in line! Really? I saw every table around us that arrived after us get there food long before us. I would have much preferred the truth which is somewhere between the order did not get put in or the kitchen may have lost the ticket who knows? Just tell the truth. In the meantime the server is totally oblivious to what is going on or maybe even just does not want to acknowledge it, either way another miss. With what this meal cost and how it went for us we will not return. read more

Love this place! The staff is so friendly and the food is very tasty! My husband and I have been here multiple times for dinner and brunch. On our most recent visit we arrived with less than an hour before a show we were trying to catch at the Schuster Center. The staff was incredibly accommodating and we were able to make it to the show with plenty of time to spare.
