The cole slaw was really tasty with a bit of sweetness. The sandwich was really good, and with the generous portions I got to enjoy grabbing a fork and finishing off the pork that fell onto my plate. They mostly do catering and events, but with BBQ this good I'm hoping they'll have a restaurant location at some point soon. In the meantime track them down at an event if you'd like some delicious BBQ with great service!

The Monkey Bread is a the best I've tasted & adds a unique touch by having four sections with different flavors. Herbs & cheese adorn the top of this appetizer & with the garlic & marinara dipping sauces this makes for a starter that the entire table will fight over. So much so we bought an extra batch to go. I ordered the Beer Battered Mahi Mahi with beer battered asparagus & I can honestly say this is the most delectable fish I'd ever tasted. The batter is fried to perfection until it's flaky, golden/brown. The Mahi Mahi is so juicy, which is a hard task because often times restaurants overcook the fish. Not The Abbey...you can tell the chef(s) take pride in each dish. And I've never had fried asparagus & I can honestly say this will be my new go to over fried green beans. The batter gives the asparagus just the right amount of sweetness they need to take a relatively boring veggie to the next level. My mother ordered the Pasta. I'm not a pasta eater but I surprisingly look over my mothers plate. The sauce was so flavorful...savory with a hint of sweet that makes for a boatload of fireworks on your tastebuds. It's quite delicious. My only request would be to the option add a protein like chicken or salmon BUT honestly it doesn't need a thing.
