NY Strip cooked medium was absolute fire. So good.

I loved this place. My wife and I purchased and place in lake wildwood and stumbled across this place. We orders a lot of food including the NY strip and the Pork chop. Both were amazing.

I'm not even gonna lie the pork chops were the juiciest pork chops I've ever eaten in my life. It is very hard to nail a grilled pork chop. The prime rib was just so tender and delicious that rare plus everything cooked to perfection. Those plates were cleaned so quickly.

Awesome steak and prawns, which is usually my go-to meal. I ate there last night, and it was awesome. The waitress was awesome, the cook was awesome, and the food was phenomenal, including the dessert.

Went once.... That's it for me! Too redneck and rough. Prime rib cut was so big it laid over plate on the table.

Tried going five different times and each time my steak was overcooked. The bar is great, but they need to hire a new cook.

Out dated steak house... if all you want is a steak it's fine but all the sides are very lacking... pork chops were a little undercooked.

My steak was small and somewhat tough. My brother in law's rice was COLD, as was my sister in law's soup.

We arrived a little early for our reservation and were taken to the bar to wait until our table was ready. Word to the wise, make a reservation as the place gets packed! We decided to share a few things so we could try more and ended up with the following: *Sourdough bread with butter - this was delicious! My only small nit is that I wish the bread was warm. *Stonefruit salad - this was delicious and very fresh *Scallops - absolutely delicious and perfectly seared and cooked! One thing I'll note is that the scallops are very very pricey at over $60 for 5-6 of them. I know it's super fresh and delicious, but this felt like it was overpriced. *Blintzes - we decided to finish with the blitzes for dessert, and these were delicious. Overall, the food was fantastic and the had a very decent selection of wines, and the place was overall very cute and the service very welcoming! Would absolutely highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves in the area.

I ordered a Ceasar salad, Lobster and Filet with a side of sweet potato puree. My wife had French onion soup, filet mignon and a baked potato. I was pleasantly surprised the Lobster was cooked very well, my filet was a perfect medium rare and the sweet potato puree was fantastic. The french onion soup was great and the wife's filet was cooked very well. The manager actually stopped by to check on us and hooked us up with a slice of carrot cake and oh man it was delicious! The seating is is comfortable, and overall not too loud. The kitchen is an open layout which is nice as well. It was by far the best part of our visit to the hard rock over the weekend.

Food quality and presentation has been slowly going downward, inconsistent and on certain dishes seasoned with too much "SALT"! Literally had surf and turf where the lobster was like rubber "inedible"! In past entrees were complimented with side items and garnished nicely. Now they're plated with menu item only which lacks of "High End" sophistication and pricing. Sides have been consistently over cooked and burnt. For example the broccolini stems were like sticks, hard, chewy not crunchy fresh. So disappointing. Entrees and sides proportions have also changed from generous sizes to "where's the meat". Bring back that 8" thick Carrot Cake", mind you it's way more than you can eat! One thing that is still consistent is the service, our waitresses have always been great! Thank You! Will be coming back in the future in hopes that improvements have been made. Really would love to enjoy your food again!

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Maryville (at 1st & D St's), and next to the Chinese "Bok Kai Temple", this longstanding and well known restaurant/saloon/hotel has been in operation dating way back to 1858 when the peak of the gold rush era was thriving in California. Over the years, the upstairs hotel (a.k.a. "The Grand Hotel") was once a brothel amongst various operations before becoming a permanent hotel for guests to stay. Meanwhile the downstairs has served as a full-size bar complete with a ton of American comfort food to choose from on their extensive menu. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 7/19/2025 at around 4:30pm. Since this was during the 25th annual "Marysville Peach Festival", there was a ton of customers and locals visiting during my visit. Surprisingly, parking was easy to find as I parked directly outside of the building. Once inside, you are immediately drawn to the nostalgic wooden interior. From the looks of it, not much has changed here over the years complete with vintage sepia chandeliers, huge brick ovens, taxidermy displays of various animals, and everything else that represented the wild wild west. Their menu is extensive and has just about all of the stick-to-your-ribs food you can ask for. This includes a ton of appetizers (poppers, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.) as well as a nice variety of main course entrées that include sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks, pastas, and much more. And since you're in a saloon, they offer all of the top whiskies, bourbons and brandies as well as a ton of beer on tap. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday & Tuesday but open for business Wed/Thu and Sunday from 11am-8pm and Fri/Sat from 11am-9pm. After narrowing down what I wanted, I finally settled with their "French Dip" sandwich. This was a traditional and classic sandwich complete with their smoked roast beef w/Swiss cheese & mayonnaise on a hoagie roll with a side of Au Jus sauce. I opted with home fries as my side and a Coke to drink. I also ordered a starter appetizer which was their crispy "Chicken Tenders". Our server was very attentive as my +1 and I sat on a quieter side of the restaurant (near the windows). Total time took around 25 minutes to get our food; not a big deal considering this place was absolutely packed with customers. Overall, my French Dip was delicious and filling. They were generous with the thin sliced roast beef while there was the perfect amount of cheese. The au jus had the right amount of consistency as each bite hit the spot. However, the chicken tenders were just so-so as there was too much breading on the exterior. And considering these were $16.95 for 4 tenders, it was quite a bit on the pricier side. I don't want to knock this place too much but I did see quite a bit of flies by our table. But I do realize that some of these things are beyond their control with as busy as it was. All in all, the "Silver Dollar Saloon" is a good place for small and large gatherings. The service was excellent while we got filled up during our visit. My rating, an above average four stars.
