    Asada, Pastor

Tacos were a bit pricier than the food trucks I normally go to. That said they were pretty good, filled, and had decent green and red salsa. The spot was quick and easy to order and take to go. I always get two asada and one pastor to see the flavor profiles. Overall I enjoyed but not the best in MKE.

First, I want to stress everyone has different experiences depending on when they visit. That said, I went for a mid week lunch special (which they had some great choices for $9.99). It is a small little place but had a table outside so we could enjoy our lunch in the sun. It was not busy when we arrived but did pick up after 12:30. Our service was very pleasant, delivered food quickly and was accommodations. The food was enjoyable and for the price, I don't think you can go wrong especially for lunch.

Great tasting food. You don't really go here looking for ambiance though. Just great authentic Mexican.

Golden Mango Bliss Smoothie: 5/5, it was just a perfect blend of mango and sweet without it feeling overwhelming. Ancient Brown Sugar Milk Tea: 5/5, just as amazing as the smoothie, in its own way! Again might've been the fresh tapioca pearls :) Inside is so clean and roomy, great for getting some work done. Parking available.

The place is small, and nicely furnished, with some natural light coming through the front and rear entrances. The server was friendly and did a great job to answer my questions. (thanks Emily). This is not your typical coffee shop or cafe. There are some very interesting drinks and food items, that you will not find anywhere else. I typically get a hot Tea Latte (London Fog or Chai Latte), but they don't offer those. I was initially disappointed but I quickly got over it. I ended up getting the Creme Brulee Croissant, and a Ancient Brown Sugar Tea. Let's first talk about the Croissant, truly amazing. Like a Creme Brulee (which I love) it has a layer of caramelized sugar on top. The taste and texture was amazing. The Brown Sugar Tea, was very good, but very sweet. I skipped the boba part (tapioca pearls), but might try it next time. The place was quiet and cozy. Some other customers came in and were either working or having quiet conversations. Great environment to bring a book and read. I'll be back, and this time with a friend.

GF didn't even want to get out of CAR. Can you believe it? If she had then I might've had some assistance and what kind of custard to get but I panicked and felt went out. You can't go wrong with the original so I just went with original vanilla but there was something else that intrigued me and now I will never know. Not to say the original vanilla wasn't absolutely fantastic and completely worth it. Creamy, not too sweet but just sweet enough. Very affordable and worth every fucking penny. I would put my face in it but I don't know how that would go for my skin.

I picked up hamburgers with fried onions and ketchup for our dinner last night, but we were disappointed once again. The burgers were dry, thin, and burned around the edges. This is the third time in a row now; don't know if burgers are premade and thrown back on the grill to reheat, or has the quality of the meat been downgraded, or whatever, but very disappointing. We'll still go for custard, but frankly, will probably start going more often to the recently reopened, but further away, Oscar's in Waukesha as that custard is also excellent, plus there's a (double) drive-through. Sometimes it's such a bear to park at Kopp's.....
