This place is combined with a KFC. I previously left a review saying that we visited this place many times and the employees there were one notch above! Always so friendly, polite, attentive. Went above and beyond to offer great service.... Well, not this time... Quite the opposite... There was a miscommunication and the employee punched in the wrong order. I notified him within 30 seconds after placing the order. He made absolutely no effort to fix it. I asked him what was the difference between what I ordered and what I ended up getting, he didn't know. He couldn't care less... Did he offer to comp a few things to cover the price difference. No. So, what did we get for $2.59 more? Nothing! We actually got much less! At least the $7 "Fill Ups" box would have come with some dessert. Wife was quite pissed.... So .... It's really such a shame this location operates as poorly as it does because the next closest Taco Bell and KFC is Nashua and this is truly my favorite fast food restaurant. But it's so poorly managed and consistently failing. This location was doing well when they transferred a manager from a Nashua location here, but without him, it's been a disaster. Have witnessed employees yelling and using profanity each other and using profane language with customers about other employees. Doesn't matter if you go through the lobby or drive thru, it's going to take a while. They massively influx their orders then pause ordering until they get what they have in line completed. So you can be sitting anywhere from 5-40 minutes. Operations do not flow well. read more

You know how all fast food restaurants have poor management? Consider this the cream of that unfortunate crop. This specific restaurant is so poorly managed that it can actually be turned into an experience. Every single time you come here, it will be understaffed. Im serious; hilariously understaffed. A 5-10 minute fast food experience will turn into a 45 minute adventure 10 times out of 10. It's annoying! Actually, if you plan for it, it can turn into quite the excellent people watching experience. If you walk into this place with the mindset that it's a 5-star sit down restaurant, you'll actually be treated to a spectacle of endless (justifiably) frustrated patrons waiting, pacing, and searching for their food. It truly is the experience of a lifetime watching normal, well-adjusted people barge into the kitchen searching for their food that should've been served to them at least half an hour ago. The one positive attribute to assign to this poorly ran restaurant is that the food is usually hot and fresh. That's only because it's so backed up and the food requires being cooked on time every time. If this place wasn't so poorly understaffed; trust me, you would walk in just knowing the food would be absolutely diabolical. Yelp wants me to also mention the ambiance. If I could leave zero stars I would!! This is the worse Taco Bell I have ever been too. After waiting 10 minutes in the lobby behind 4 other people the worker announced they are no longer serving walk ins that we all have to go through the very long drive through line. Ridiculous. So I came in the other night and due to short staff the lady was not able to take my order at the time I asked her if I could place the order and just wait in parking lot I didn't mind the wait she explained that she was the only one taking orders and making the food ,but she said that was fine after waiting about 15min she came out with my order and she was very kind and polite and explained how sorry she was about the wait , but I'm writing this review to say she could've had an attitude or denied my service just because of the stress she was under running the store alone but she was the complete opposite I didn't get her name but she was a small girl with long braids,and my order was completely right and tasted great I would wait again just because of her customer service...by the way this is not the first time this has happened hopefully this store gets some help soon read more

I stopped by Taco Bell/KFC in Amherst recently. The lobby doors are locked and it's drive thru only, which is bad for customers and worse for delivery drivers. I get they may be short staffed and people make more money being unemployed. They need to have at least a walk up window/glass door for prepaid Taco Bell app orders and delivery drivers. I waited way too long at the Amherst location 50 minutes in the damn drive thru line. I am not blaming the food line workers here who showed up to work, kudos to them, but the management of this store.  I know this has to be a dumb Management decision at this particular location since this cobranded store is owned by Charter. No excuses and unacceptable!  The Londonderry Taco Bell/KFC also Charter owned at least keeps their lobby open until 10pm and drive thru open late. That Londonderry location is way better managed and for drive thru orders, cars are moved past the 2nd window to the curb where staff brings out the orders, less gas wasted and much shorter waits there. The current manager of the Londonderry store used to manage the Amherst store, which was the #1 store in New England. Not anymore! What happened??? I know one customer from Bedford who actually ordered late night delivery from the Londonderry Taco Bell instead of Amherst and Manchester Taco Bell stores closer to him because those stores take forever and run out of beef. read more

Went here again today after more than a year because they screwed up my order the last time. I ordered 5 crunchy tacos with no sour cream and a medium diet coke. The bill was more then $18!!!! For this kind of money you are better off going to a sit-down Mexican restaurant, or any other sit-down restaurant for that matter. I was shell shocked when I saw the bill. The older guy at the drive-thru window must have been the owner. He commented on why the bill was so expensive. He went on to say kids don't want to work for $20/hr, etc, etc, which I believe, but still, the food was way overpriced. The tacos were good. The guy (owner?) at the drive-thru was nice, which is why I'm keeping the review at 2 stars. I won't ever go back to Taco Bell, not with these prices. This is going to be one of the worst places around. I went today at 12:30 and there is a wet floor yellow cone in the middle of the drive-thru. I assume the drive through is closed. Went around to the door and there's a guy that shaking his head no at the doorway and putting a line across his neck with his finger. So I assume they're closed? The workers shortage has gotten much better. The drive through is actually very quick. Prices are a bit expensive for some items, but still worth it for the delicious taste. Dining room is opened back up. This place is finally recovering from covid read more

I went to this Taco Bell since the one downtown was already closed like they normally do around 7pm. This Taco Bell bell usually open till 11pm and their website says so as well still. I got into the drive thru minutes after 9pm with 3 cars getting their food in front of us. I pull up and get an "We're closed"... really? With a sign on the speaker saying they open at 3pm! I get short staffing but it wouldn't be a problem if Taco Bell company provided a livable wage for their employees. Recently went there for drive through about 2 hours before their closing time, 3 cars in the parking lot and all the lights on in the store. It's hard to put into words how badly this place sucks. I used to come to this Taco Bell all the time when I was craving it as it's like 2 minutes from my house. Every single time I go now, without fail, I get there and the line is extended into the street that leads into Goodwill. Then when I've gotten in line, I wait at least 20-40 minutes before even ordering and getting my food. I left twice just because of how long I was waiting. They keep making excuses about shortages of certain items and it's beyond frustrating. I understand businesses are struggling due to COVID, but this is a pattern. It hasn't changed for the last 2 years and it's deeply disappointing considering it's one of the only ones in the area. Also there is never any apology or care that people sit there and wait for forever, when you get up to the window, they take their sweet time.
