Doesn't take a rocket scientist... she kept saying cheese sauce I said No, we want cheese, literal cheese, not any sauce anything. I also ordered shrimp fajitas and steak nachos with just steak and cheese, and the burrito above. The chicken in the burrito was kind of dry, like they possibly boiled it then shredded it. Her food wasn't very flavorful. My bf said that his nachos were tasty but needed more cheese sauce. My plate wasn't flavorful at all. To me it seems like this is more Tex-Mex with white people in the kitchen. iI from California and have been to Mexico many time..so I know authentic Mexican food and this doesn't come anywhere near it. The apple on it was mushy Hubby got the ribeye and had to send it back because he ordered medium and he got well done. The replacement was edible but not phenomenal. On one occasion they lied about honoring it and adjusted the gratuity to hide the fact. 2. Their specialty drinks are not mixed correctly. Either overly sweet or overly sour. 3. The wait staff will forget to bring things to your table. Normally that's not a big deal if you see them again before you finish your food. 4. The food is mediocre most of the time. Its not bad, but its not great either. 5. The food is over priced for the quality they serve lately. If you want a better experience for less or the same money, go to Puerto Nuevo. La Carreta used to be much much better than they are now.

It was delicious--sweet, refreshing, and easily my favorite drink of the night. My date had the Raspberry Kiss, made with Tennessee Hills Lemon Vodka, raspberry purée, lemon juice, and pineapple juice. The flavor was good, although it tasted a bit diluted as the ice melted. The biggest drawback was the service. We had to ask three separate times for water, and it ultimately arrived from a different server rather than our waitress.

A particularly disturbing experience as I had followed a kitchen crew member into the men's room who had apparently gone to to take a dump. So I guess the best he will be able to do is to maybe rinse his hands prior to returning to the kitchen??? DOUBLE YUCK. I did let the bar manager know on the way out and she did leave to go look into the soap issue. I was going to ask for lettuce until I saw that the lettuce had way too many brown pieces in it. There was no ice in the drink machine. I got ice from the tea machine. When I asked how to scan the app QR code, the female employee at the register told me I needed to scan my receipt to earn points. She accepted my money and then said she had to go to the bathroom so she called another employee to the register. I'm assuming it was an emergency. No receipt was given and the employee had already completed the transaction. So no rewards or points for this visit. Really doesn't matter that much because I'm not thinking I will be trying it again in the near future. I mentioned twice in front of their employees that this wasn't enough food in the bowl. Not a single one offered to add anything to it. When did they stop saying welcome to Moe's? That doesn't affect my review I just thought it is sad how the customer service had declined.
