Sopes are a rare treat and so I am grateful they can whip these up rather quickly. The meat is tender and tasty and these are filling. The pupusas are tasty as well, but arrive early as they may sell out of some varieties. Ask for extra salsas and sauces; they are flavorful and deserve to be in your mouth.

Gas station food isn't good; a gas station taqueria??? OMG it was fire! Their tortas (sandwiches for gringos) were off the hook. I have no idea who invented these miraculous marvels, but I want to make my next child after him or her. The staff was happy, friendly and amiable. They made our corner of the gas station feel like home. Even the gas station owner got involved, gifting our two kids chocolates to eat as dessert.
