The food is always cold and sloppy and on top of that their drive-thru is atrocious! I was just in the line for 67 minutes!

This location did not carry the breakfast sandwich as seen on tv commercials although they were nice in telling us that they didn't.

Food was pretty good. I was in the area for business and…read morewas in the mood for some frijolitos. Without going to far from the hotel because of the DANG SNOW! I decided to try this place. I haven't had a chiminichanga in a long time plus it came with frijolitos y arroz so I ordered the carnitas chiminichanga. The taste was there; carnitas were tasty and the queso crema stuff they put on top was on point. Their salsas were a little weak; it would be good to have some spicy tomatillo salsa with anything carnitas. The frijolitos refritos were a little disappointing. There were mashed to a good consistency; too many whole beans. At least they weren't blended in the blender how some places do it. And gracias a dios that they weren't canned beans. NO CANNED BEANS!! the arroz was good. The atmosphere needs a pick-me-up. It was mostly because of the music. One would think a Mexican restaurant would play some sort of Mexican music. This place was playing instrumental versions of '70s classics. Please play some mariachi or cumbias or something Mexicano. I'm from southern California so maybe I shouldn't expect too much about Mexican food from Philly. And yes I hate the snow. If you didn't get my reference to chiminichangas, watch Napoleon Dynamite.

You can place an order at the kiosk in front or at the register. It was easier using the kiosk because you didn't have to bother the lone server for options, add-ons etc. I had a birria bowl which was HEARTY. I mean the serving was huge and I was able to eat off it for two days. I thought it would be served with the consume, but I had to pay extra for that a sour cream. We did carry out, so the four stars is for cleanliness of the restaurant, quick service and serving size. I was very shocked that it was seasonless. There was no spice. There was nothing separating each ingredient in the bowl in terms of taste. It was all just one note and the note was Nothing. The consommé was also flavorless, but it did help with the dryness of the birria. I probably wouldn't try this place again if I came back at least not the burrito bowl my homegirl both had tacos and said that they enjoyed those.

We travelled from Columbia, MD to this area to see a show at the Lansdown Theater (great show…read morebtw!). We left home early to catch an early dinner near the venue. I found this one by zooming in on googlemaps and asking for restaurants in the area and this one looked like a winner! And it was! The staff said that is from the bar drains that are in that corner. Try to stay away from that end. The bar area also has a stage area where there is live entertainment some evenings, ranging from open mic, live bands, quizzo, DJ/dance floor, and karaoke. They also have a large screen they use to broadcast major sporting events. The restaurant tables are typical casual dining style with a mixture of free standing tables and chairs. There are separate areas for larger groups and private parties. The staff is friendly and attentive. As they get to know you, they remember your name and your usual food and drink orders. Kudos to the bartenders for knowing what "up" means! I always get my goto drink, Grey Goose up with a twist, prepared properly and generously here. Can't say that about some bars in Delco I have been to--either incorrect or overpriced. The food is overall typical for a casual dining/bar. There are some must-try items on the menu. If you like crabmeat, the Norwood tots are a different twist with how to have crabmeat. Creative! The pizzas are pretty good as well. I am very much a "purist" when it comes to what a pizza should be made of, but the cauliflower-crust is my exception. I haven't had good pizza in Delco until I had the cauliflower-crust pizza. A thin, crispy crust! Not the thick, doughy crust that I have encountered with most Delco pizza places. For those that don't like cauliflower, have no fear. The cauliflower-crust pizza does not taste like cauliflower. You would not know it contains cauliflower. There are also some great specials I have enjoyed. One special I really loved was the halibut with risotto. I could eat that EVERY day! I come here pretty often. I have come here for lunch, dinner, drinks, and held my 50th birthday party here. Always a good experience.

Our drinks were empty for most of the meal, and we had to ask another server just to find her. One of our drinks was made wrong, and when we finally got her attention, she seemed annoyed she needed to come to our table and actually walked away while we were still talking, which felt really dismissive. What makes it more frustrating is that there's an automatic 18% gratuity even for small tables. I ended up having to tipping $22 total, and for only seeing her a handful of times, it definitely didn't feel deserved. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." It honestly made me feel so uncomfortable and was not an appropriate way to handle the situation. The food was fine, but the service and overall experience were not. For the prices and the built-in tip, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

I ordered the soft serve margarita but they were out of cherry so I settled for one flavor only to hear the server offering cherry flavor to the next table when they arrived maybe 35 minutes after we arrived. We placed our food order at 2:40pm. I received my margarita at 3:09pm. We received our food at 3:16pm. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was really good. The thick steak like fries were fine. We asked for the bill and it took about 20 minutes and she has to be reminded when we saw her walk by to bring the check.

We went in winter but I'm sure it's packed in summer. The Crab Cake Sandwich is a must. It's actually full of lump crab meat instead of just being a bunch of breading and filler. Since there were no available tables outside, we were placed inside in a corner table with no air circulation. The humidity felt unbearable and really played a major impact on my experience. I'm sure if I came during a mid spring day I would've had a better experience. Food: the food is the only reason I would come here again. I got a crab cake that was very robust with a fair amount of filler but had a good amount of real crabmeat. My son got the quesadilla, and it wasn't anything special. The salmon was small and flavorful. Service: also was not anything special or bad. Our waitress came by twice during our stay. It was a busy afternoon and she was working. It would've been good if they had more staff so that someone could refill our water more frequently. Like I said, the humidity had taken away from our experience. Overall, I wouldn't come here throughout the hot, humid summer months, but I may give it a second try in the winter or spring... maybe.
