Great location on the water. Quick and friendly service. Came by on a Sunday for lunch at 1pm. We were seated immediately. I enjoyed the Cobb salad. Also at the table we had a crab cake sandwich and burger. Food was good. Seems like a reliable spot for a good meal.

We sampled the peanut butter bomb and cinnamon churro desserts- highly recommend trying both! Huge desserts!

This is our approximate 12th visit to Stingers which is our favorite place in all of the Philadelphia region. Tonight was no exception to their excellence. Josh was our wait staff for the evening. My daughter and her boyfriend were here visiting from Australia and we really wanted to show them a place that we know everybody raves about from the atmosphere to the food menu to the service. We had a fantastic experience, we tasted the mussels, the cheesesteak, egg rolls, the French dip and the shrimp mac & cheese. Josh is a bloody legend, and just for the wonderful service that was given to us from this visit alone, we are good for another 10 visits in the next few months. Awesome guy, awesome dining experience. Five stars all around.

Stopped in for a late lunch on my way to the airport. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer, appercot brandy smash, wings and the blackened swardfish. The wings were very meaty and could have been a meal on their own. The blacken and swordfish was a nice portion, blackened just right and served with orzo pasta. The server was pleasant and engaging in sharing her thoughts on the various menu items. If you're like me, looking for a restaurant close to the airport prior to your flight this is a pretty good option for proximity, price, food options.

Hidden gem in Ridley right off I-95! Sitting on a marina it's such a unique spot to come to. Especially when the weather's nice, definitely sit outside if you can! The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Love stopping in here even as a local!

Joe is awesome. I kinda told him about my eating issues and he said I could handle the cheesesteak egg rolls. He wasn't wrong The flavor is amazing but I am eating with a knife and fork. If eaten like a real person they would be even better. I have eating issues but Stinger's is great and Joe at the bar is wonderful. Highly recommend!!

Decor and layout is nice. Everything is clean and updated. Service was prompt. The bar is ginormous. 14 beers on draft...nothing exotic. Menu is limited but of quality. Prices aren't horrible but not cheap by any means. They do have TVs but not overly done like a sports bar. Views are very nice. Bar opens up to outside so when it's nice out everything is open.

Beautiful view and near the water. Virgin peach daiquiri and shrimp mac and cheese was delicious. Don't skip out on the tacos either

Had a business dinner here with some execs, which means I had to put on my "yes sir, no ma'am" voice, but let me tell you, the service? A solid 10 outta 10. Quick, friendly, and still had that southern charm that makes you tip a little extra. Now, be warned: they still follow that old-school "we ain't seating you 'til your whole party arrives" rule. A little 2005, but also... y'all should really just be on time. So I get it. I wasn't feeling too hot--sinuses acting like I owed them money--so my appetite was half there, half in the bed. I ordered a taco salad... and whew, let's just say it was a disappointment wrapped in lettuce. Literally. It felt like they gave me one sad romaine leaf and told me to imagine the rest. 2 outta 10. That ain't it. Now the beef birria quesadilla came through looking like it had potential. Shredded beef, cheese blend, birria sauce, all the things that usually make you wanna shout. But taste-wise? It was decent, just needed a bit more seasoning to make it dance. I gave it a 5 outta 10 -- but again, the sun was directly in my face and my attitude was on "nap." Let's talk about the real star though: Stinger's Fries. Old Bay-spiced, covered in homemade cheese sauce, fresh crabmeat, and green onions. A whole blessing in a bowl. The spicy sriracha ketchup was cute, but unnecessary -- the fries held their own. 9 outta 10 easy. I also had the crab dip and the bang bang shrimp, and listen, I forgot to take pics because I was too busy being happy. Both are must-tries -- bold flavors, creamy, crispy, all the textures. The real kicker here though? That view. You're right on the water. Boats bobbing, breeze breezing, and the whole vibe is "I could quit my job and eat here every weekend." Would I come back? Absolutely. Next time I'll bring an appetite, sunglasses, and a better salad choice.

Good food on the water Came here with the girlfriend. Was told this was the spot to get seafood and ambiance, so we came here for a lunch. Parking is plentiful, but you will be competing with the launch pad for boats for parking spots. There's a ton of signage stating that dining is only 90 minutes. My guess is they have issues with people staying for long stints of time. Our sever was very nice, checked in a lot and made sure that our stay was nice and our drinks topped off. Food came out a little slow but not too slow. Took pics and dug in. The mussels were good, but the sauce was not burned off enough. There was a big hit of boozy tang that detracted from the otherwise light and acidic sauce. Still tasty, but not balanced. The fries were cooked well enough, the cheese sauce was made fresh and seasoned well. The fresh crab was very fishy smelling, but was told it was the style of crab they used which led to the smell. Not bad just not expected. The crab dip was good. Really liked the made in house tortilla chips. Was hearty, plenty of crab and the cheese layer was crispy and salty which helped since the mellow crab flavor didn't really come through. It's clear they put lots of care into their appearances and the service is great. As a location to hang out, this seems like a very nice place to go. It is lacking a bit in terms of its food, but I'd imagine this is the type of place that's not known for their food. Go for the location and drinks, and you'll probably have a great time. Maybe their entree's are good, but not so much their starters.

Stopped in on a Winter Sunday afternoon with two others. Nice and clean outside, plenty of parking for the off-season. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waiter stopped over minutes later, and we ordered right away. Place wasn't very busy, just a small crowd, a few tvs. Bar looked like it would be fun for a few beers, we had a couple of burgers and some mozzarella sticks-everything came out quickly and was quite good. Prices were good, as well. I would return, and am curious to see how it is in the summer.

Our drinks were empty for most of the meal, and we had to ask another server just to find her. One of our drinks was made wrong, and when we finally got her attention, she seemed annoyed she needed to come to our table and actually walked away while we were still talking, which felt really dismissive. What makes it more frustrating is that there's an automatic 18% gratuity even for small tables. I ended up having to tipping $22 total, and for only seeing her a handful of times, it definitely didn't feel deserved. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." It honestly made me feel so uncomfortable and was not an appropriate way to handle the situation. The food was fine, but the service and overall experience were not. For the prices and the built-in tip, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

I ordered the soft serve margarita but they were out of cherry so I settled for one flavor only to hear the server offering cherry flavor to the next table when they arrived maybe 35 minutes after we arrived. We placed our food order at 2:40pm. I received my margarita at 3:09pm. We received our food at 3:16pm. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was really good. The thick steak like fries were fine. We asked for the bill and it took about 20 minutes and she has to be reminded when we saw her walk by to bring the check.

I suppose a restaurant almost has a disadvantage when one has heard endlessly about how fantastic…read moreit is, thus setting one's expectations quite high when making one's reservation. A friend and I came by for a quiet supper to catch up and hopefully have an enjoyable dining experience. To start off, the Caesar salad and focaccia were indeed quite tasty. After being talked into trying the tasting menu, I was disheartened upon taking my first bite of the chicken Parmigiana and accompanying pasta. Both seemed as if they had been sitting for a while and then were unevenly reheated. The pasta, in particular, was lackluster and worse than anything I might have hurriedly boiled at eleven at night upon arriving home after a long trip and finding only packaged pasta and canned tomato sauce in the cupboard. But I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the service. Clearly my friend and I were the afterthought of all afterthoughts to our disinterested waitress. After hounding us to order before we had properly reviewed the menu, she promptly put us on the pay-no-mind list, as dirty dish after dirty dish accumulated at the table from the tasting menu she had so strongly urged me to try. I also abhor cheapness on the part of restaurants. Would it have killed Rosemary to offer us a second piece of focaccia, given that there were two of us and the portion was a better fit for just one? Lest anyone accuse me of having expected the waitstaff to read my mind, I indeed asked. It's not like we weren't spending a pretty penny there. The business could have well afforded to allow each of us a reasonable portion of its much-touted starter. After we finally managed to flag down our waitress amid the plethora of dirty dishes still sporting some of the mediocre food, I paid in cash on account of the restaurant informing me on the bill that a surcharge would be applied to a credit card transaction. Another joy! When the waitress took the note, she said, "Thank you," and that was that. I decided against calling after her to request change since it was one of those borderline instances where the note was close enough to twenty percent that it is a bit awkward to request someone return with change. So she walked off with a 26% or so tip after having left us on the dining equivalent of "read" the entire night. And then there's the issue of price: While not outrageous, everything is 15-20% more expensive than it should be, and after one pauses to think about it, the tasting menu offers barely any deal at all. If one orders the chicken like I did, it is no cheaper than ordering the starter, entrée, and dessert à la carte. If Rosemary had also offered, say, a soup, then it would be a deal. But clearly generosity is not in its owner's purview. The tiramisu, I will say, was excellent, and my friend and I enjoyed every morsel, and for that reason, along with the Caesar salad, I can muster three stars. Had I not walked through the door having heard so many people rave about Rosemary, perhaps I would have found it to be a restaurant with a pleasant ambiance, a good appetizer, and fine dessert despite a thoroughly middling entrée. But a Delco gem it is not.

This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.
