Ruben Egg Rolls Crispy Chicken Sandwich
    Colleen M.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and while the service from the bar and our server were great, it was a surprise to find out the kitchen was closing at 3pm. We totally understood but when we arrived at 2pm nobody mentioned we were on a time crunch to order before the kitchen shut down. The food was still good and service was great but that info would've been nice to know upon entering the place. The pure lunch options are limited but the crispy chicken sandwich was really good - it was the Italian breading not the traditional crispy expected (at least in my experience). The Reuben eggrolls were delish, I'd recommend for sure. The restaurant as a whole felt festive and fun with all of the holiday decor.

Such a great spot, especially for weekend brunch! The menu always has a ton of fun seasonal choices and everything is delicious. I've also come for dinner and drinks to see late night bands and it's always such a good time. For being a packed bar come nighttime place has killer food!!!

I stopped in with a group of 6 during a weeknight. I did make a reservation ahead so we were seated immediately. It was busy as they were having trivia night so it was very loud. I got a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was juicy and tasted great. I would order this again and I would recommend it to others. If I'm in the area again, I would stop by.

Nice restaurant/bar near where my daughter lives. I had a cheesesteak with fried onions bladed and sweet potato fries! Delicious meat on a wonderful roll. The waffle fries were crunchy and came with a small cup of maple syrup for dipping. My wife had the hot wings and said they were some of the best that she's ever had. They had a nice choice of beers on tap. I had a couple of Mudhen 1883 IPA's, great tasting IPA and went well with the cheesesteak. Our waitress was great, I wish I would have gotten her name so I could mention her.

The Fainting Goat was such a hip and cool brunch spot for a Sunday gathering. Our Waitrose was absolutely amazing and very helpful and ensuring that all of our questions were answered with the new specials and great recommendations for ordering. I ordered the bourbon French toast, which was hands-down one of the, best French toast I've ever had. It was perfectly toasted, flavored and rich syrup which was infused with bourbon. The bananas were a delightful treat topped on the crispy. fluffy French toast. The dish perfectly with the sausage and a beautiful black coffee. There's a perfect balance between sweet, savory, and crunchy.

Such a mixed review & experience. We made reservations for Sunday brunch and glad we did as the…read moreplace got crowded quickly. On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!

Totally worth trying and you will leave soo full. The server was nice and this place was jamming all night. Very tight inside so definitely a cool date spot. It's dark in here, like old people with the phone flashlight dark but I didn't mind honestly. The only thing that threw me off was this bathtub drink... You won't finish your food but you'll be excited for left overs !

Located in Bryn Mawr on Conestoga Rd, there is a private lot and street parking available. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. We were greeted by a friendly server before we even stepped inside. The host station is right inside and we were welcomed warmly once again. They offered us our choice of inside/outside seating. Being our first time there we wanted to see the interior. I mentioned this and they gave us a great table upstairs overlooking the restaurant. The store is decorated with a lot of Italian transportation...small cars and Vespas. I loved the high ceilings, and the upper level seating. They also have a huge TV on the wall, and decorated for the 2026 World Cup, despite Italy not qualifying! Our server, Alex, was very personable despite being busy with a large bday gathering and several other tables. He made us feel welcome as he went over the specials and took our orders. I got the chicken Parmesan which is my goto litmus test, while my date got the beet salad with grilled chicken. The food arrived promptly and looked and tasted delicious. My chicken parm was yummy, crispy chicken with melted cheese over delicious spaghetti! The beet salad was also well received. We saw several tables getting some delicious bread and asked for a basket. I thought it may be complimentary however it was 8$ a basket. They make it in house and drizzle it with olive oil. Served with some fresh rosemary and soft butter, it was delicious and well worth the price, just don't fill up on it! We were pressed for time so turned down their house made gelato, however we passed the gelato station on the way out and regretted this decision, it looked amazing! I mentioned to Alex that my entree was delicious but what set the restaurant apart was the service and atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Some Italian places can be a bit on the cool/formal side so this was a nice change. Stop in and check it out, save some room for that bread and the gelato!
