After waiting a bit, I finally got my order and was satisfied, but felt that it could have been a lot more flavorful compared to other tortas at similar or cheaper prices around campus. I have yet to try other items on their menu, like their tacos or flautas which I've heard were decent by word of mouth, but my experience here was only average at best. Given the amount of similar food on campus, I'm not planning on re-visiting, but since this restaurant is also in the middle of campus I may eventually come around to it anyways. The meat (carnitas) was very dry and stringy. The guacamole lacked seasoning as did the rice and beans. And, the salsa had a pulled-from-the-refrigerator flavor. I maybe ate a third of the nachos and then tossed those out as well. I did not eat any of the chips and salsa after the initial taste. I was really bummed as I had hoped for a good meal, but I won't be trying this restaurant again and will try others next time I am in town.
