The only way to find out how much something costs is when you are ringing it up at the register. Inconsistent Cashier Charges: The cashier appears to make up prices on the spot without scanning or checking for accuracy. If you don't watch closely, you will easily be overcharged. Outrageously High Markup: Some of the produce prices are completely unreasonable. For example: 1 lb of frozen Spanish plums: $12.99 Small papaya (1.5 lbs): Almost $20.00 Medium chayote: $2.00 each Final Verdict: Keep a very close eye on your total if you shop here. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated in this very casual and sparsely decorated restaurant. Our server was pleasant and was quick to bring us chips salsa, and our beverages. We were able to get our lunch for a reasonable price. However, it's probably not the best Mexican food we've had. Queso sauce tasted more like melted Velveeta, guacamole was fresh, but bland. Chicken enchiladas were presented very nicely, however again tend to lack seasoning. The cheese enchiladas were indeed very cheesy, but that's probably about all we could say. My recommendation is to try to find something else in the area. This place works if you're hungry and you're just looking for substance.
