My family went last night to get some food and the order was all wrong. They dont eat beef or sour cream. They asked for no beef, add chicken and no sour cream. As you can see this place is horrible. They dont care about what costumers want or need. They could have got my family sick with the sour cream. 1 star is still to high of a grade level for them. Have you ever drank a Pepsi that did not taste like anything? I did. Today. 7/26.24 No Pepsi flavor. And it wasn't a diet. The new chicken items came in box with chip and salsa. The shell the chicken was in seemed to have been precooked and sat around for awhile. When I pulled it up from the wrapper to eat it, the entire bottom of the shell stuck to the paper. The chips were warm, the salsa was tasteless, the cheese was ok Sad. Then there were the 3 soft shell tacos. Hardly any meat, and the meat that was in their was greasy orange, which had absorbed into the soft shell. The lettuce was funky, I gave a taco to my dog and she refused the lettuce. Hope she doesn't get the runs from the greasey meat. So now when ordering a soft shell taco, I should expect to eat 90% soft shell, 5% meat, and 5% lettuce and cheese. (And don't even ask, they didn't include any sauce packets for the soft shell tacoss. ( Pardon me, I forgot to ask. Saves them a buck I suppose if they short you taco packets.) read more

"There is sauce in the bag" I looked in the bag and there was none..I told her there are no sauce packets..She said to wait..she got the So called manager..he proceeded to say thete was sauce in the bag..Again I advised was none.. Been living in Dekalb, IL for roughly 2 months now, and Taco Bell has been my savior! Especially with their newish $1 Cravings Menu. Their lobby is actually open than most Taco Bells in other suburbs. Drive thru is also open late, but mind you, I usually order upon Walk-In rather than Drive-Thru. This place is great, employees are friendly and always down for a conversation. Surrounded by Culvers, Fatty's and several apartments, this place is a key place during DeKalb's nightlife and daytime for students of all ages. The only con I've experienced is that they no longer serve the $1 Happier Hour menu between 2-5pm ever since they got their $1 Cravings Menu. YET THEY STILL HAVE THEIR HAPPIER HOUR MENU UP! Misleading to say the least. Besides that no complaints, definitely a life saver as a student. read more

They messed up an order of mine once pretty badly, but were generous with sauce and gave us the food we asked for in a quick and timely manner. What makes this particular Taco Bell a 5 star is their staff. They are always extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Each time I leave I am in a better mood then when I arrived; just by interacting with the staff. The cleanliness of the lobby and quality of the food has also been very good. read more

I call at 12:12 and ask what time they close. The girl that answered the phone say sorry we are closed. I say that's fine my question is what time do you close and again I get a "we are closed" ok that's fine your hours online are way different I would not have drove over here knowing y'all closed. Closed at midnight when hours posted says 1:30am so yeah idk what to tell ya. Last time I was there at 11pm and ordered a dbl steak quesadilla and there was at most one level scoop of steak and about 5 dry bites no cheese no sauce no steak so that mad me sad too. The Website and the posted hours on their window says they are open until 2:30am on Thursdays. Went there after work at 2:05am and all the lights were off and no one was there. I've been in the drive thru at this location around 2:10am in the past and have witnessed them turning their drive thru lights off and refusing service to the cars behind me. I understand no one likes working those hours but closing up shop 20+ minutes is ridiculous and poor customer service. Won't bother detouring on my way home again. read more
