In the limited time we spoke while I was ordering, he accommodated a meal for our four year old, we talked about our love for tacos, living in Texas and military backgrounds. We ordered two barbacoa tacos, one black bean taco and a birria taco along with a quesadilla for our daughter. Toppings are simple and delicious. Barbacoa was tasty and tender, but not too salty. Birria spent probably 10 or so seconds too long on the grill, but it was still delightful. And if I'm being honest, I took a bite (or three) of my daughter's cheese and it was the tastiest quesadilla I've had in a while. (And our daughter agreed. We decided to sit outside on the patio, which was a nice vibe. The restrooms were also clean, which I always appreciate. We started with the guacamole fresco and it was amazing, super fresh and exactly how I like it. I ordered the chicken quesadilla for $12 along with a sparkling water, and my partner got the lengua tacos with a side of refried beans. Not to mention, the presentation of these dishes were very satisfying to look at. Our food came out in under 10 minutes, which honestly surprised us in the best way! The staff checked on us consistently and made sure everything was good. My quesadilla came out hot and delicious, and the portions were very generous. Both of us left full and happy, and for the price, it was more than worth it. I'd recommend this place to any crowd really whether that be families, a casual lunch, a gathering, or even a date spot.
