There is also a salsa bar to the left as you come in with a selection of salsa options. Our food took maybe 10 minutes after we ordered. The street tacos (asada and carnitas) were very good. Adding the mild or hot salsa from the bar really made the flavors pop. The tacos were decent size for the price and the fillings were fresh plentiful. The Paco's Nachos were also very good. The chips were crisp and warm and the toppings were hot, fresh, and plentiful as well. Overall, Tia's is a great choice for a quick lunch. They have an excellent menu selection and the salsa bar is an added bonus. This is definitely worth a stop.

They were at the South Side garage when we found them, so we got some kombucha and an old fashioned that did not disappoint. Cody was manning the truck that day and he was so friendly, helpful and knew all about how to veganize their food and made any necessary adjustments. He even came into the garage to double check on preparation for us. He gave us service that was exceptional. The food was delicious and we need to find CM again stat! Loved the location and the ambiance of the Garage as well. The one downside is that the "location" calendar was a little hard to use since I wasn't familiar with some of the places listed on it and didn't know where those places were since there weren't address on many of the listings. But, I'm sure that's a software issue they have no control over. If you see the truck, stop! It's worth a visit.

I'm a native San Diegoan, and getting some legit street tacos in Tennessee is a dream come true. If you're not used to "authentic" street tacos, know that they are supposed to be "simple". Tortilla, meet, cilantro & onion, and maybe some salsa. Al Pastor should have pineapple too. My favorite thing to order is the "Mexi-can not Mexi-can't" which is three street tacos. I get the Al Pastor, and a side of queso and chips. Their queso is amazing and the chips are the best I have ever had. If you're used to "cheese" and things on your tacos, then I'd recommend ordering the gringo style. You should know that the beans aren't "refried", but seasoned black beans which are delicious but may surprise some people.
