I am beyond displeased and concerned for this location and the people who eat there. The girl working the drive thru closing shift on August, 13, 2021. Took forever to take our order, I was the only one in the drive thru and had to circle back around so it'd notify them. I was optimistic and gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe its been a rough night. By the time I had gotten up to the window she was so rude and made me feel like me being a customer was an inconvenience. We asked for a receipt after paying and she said that she cant process receipts. I thought that was weird so i counted the food and my families orders and there were 4 missing items. I went back to tell her there was stuff missing and I was accused of lying by not only the drive thru worker, but her manager. I read from a text, reviewed the screen before pulling forward, counted twice and had my sister recount it. I drove back around (a third time) and after reassuring them that I in fact had items missing. The manager took the food back and walked out of sight to "count it". She was gone for a long time. When she came back with a smirk I knew in my intuition that something was off and my intuition told me not to eat the food. I have never felt that way before. I was about to drive off but i just had to go back around and listen to myself. My sister felt off about it too. So I tell her I'm uncomfortable with accepting the food and I'd just prefer a full refund. Again, I am the only customer in the drive thru. She takes the food back a second time and turns back around and says "the drinks too" and holds her hand out. I give her my drinks and unfortunately I hadn't realized a piece of hair was hanging off the side. And she (the manager) rudely says with a disgusted and demanding tone "Can you take your hair too?!" So i remove my hair in complete humiliation and embarrassment as shes holding the cup in her hand reaching out to me. I apologized and removed it. She told me to give her my card and pull forward to up front. I felt uneasy leaving my credit card in the hands of the people who made me feel as uncomfortable as they did. I said no thank you and watched them (and secretly recorded) the "refund". She gave my card back, i said God bless you, then checked my statements because it took way too long for the refund. I felt like i was scammed and had my food tampered with. When checking my statements, there was no refund as expected. My sister and I traveled to a different location and when i told them what happened they said "thats no surprise, we get their customers all the time and they always complain about that location. They always close their store early too" I checked a recent review and apparently its true! Something needs to be done. When I got home and explained to our mom everything that happened she called and recorded the phone call. She was also disrespected by the manager Josie said her name was. After asking drive thru guy to double check the order as I have long drive home to hungry family, he assures me it's right. Sure... Well, I must say a Taco Bell has been my go to since 1975 when I got my first car. I love it, my kids love it and now their kids do too. BUT, on my recent last two visits at our local one in LaPorte, I have been very disappointed. Two days ago we ordered a $5.00 Nacho fry box and got a cravings meal instead along with other correct things we ordered. Luckily we checked the box and the guy at the window gladly after finding out his mistake and took it back and turned around and handed us the same box back. Checking it again, we told him it was still the wrong one. My son asked him "What's goin on man?" He said he must have misunderstood the order. We got our food and was satisfied. I wasn't going to complain. BUT today, I just got back and had ordered a regular bean burrito and a Tostada with No tomato. Not a hard order...Goy home with a Tostada with sour cream all over it and I don't know what the burrito was supposed to be. It was a large tortilla with a teaspoon of queso cheese sticking down a smaller tortilla with maybe only 2 teaspoons of meat with a sprinkle of cheese and globbed with sour cream. By the way, I hate sour cream and seem to have gotten it on BOTH my orders. Again, I wasn't going to complain but I did call the store just to let them know I have been disappointed in their service but the phone rang 16 times before I finally hung up.
