Just one little area of a very clean restaurant.
    Texas P.

Met with a smile upon entering and a very clean restaurant. With over 21 taco choice combinations they have pretty much something for everyone. 1st time in and well worth the stop. Great tasting food , and service. They have complimentary charro beans ( they do contain pork and its noted on the vessel) I had 3 sauces to choose from, mild , jalapeno and Habenero their signature sauce. If you've never eaten here but are looking for authentic Mexican taco place without the huge busy store front and wait of other places in the area , Give Habeneros a try. Im pretty sure you will be as pleased as I was.

My husband and I just went to Habanero's tacos for a late lunch. The place is super clean, and you can feel you're in an authentic taqueria, not just for decor and utensils but for the great smell coming from their kitchen. The menu has a great variety of taco meats, 21 to be exact, we tried 3. Before ordering they offered us free frijoles charros, which is a bean soup, it was fantastic, it is always appreciated. We ordered one barbacoa taco, one cochinita, and one steak a la Mexicana taco. The barbacoa was delicious, so tender and flavorful, the cochinita also great flavor, and they have this taco sauces, my favorite one was the jalapeño which is the green one, with the cochinita? Goes perfect! The steak taco was very tender and the onion was almost caramelized, so good. We also had quesabirrias, the meat was tasty and tender, filled with cheese and the beef consomé was delicious, this dish comes with refried beans, and rice, loved the beans! I felt like I was at home eating. That's why 5 stars for Habaneros, come hungry!

This is a cool taco place in the Seabrook area. A large variety of all different type of tacos along with several other plate dishes. A huge plus for serving breakfast items all day long. The staff is very friendly. The dining room is very clean, well kept, and they even have a few tables for outside seating. Prices and taco sizes were fair. Steak is good but need a bit more flavor. Pastor tacos were on point. Thought the breakfast tacos were delicious. The migas plate was also a good item. Love the 3 different flavors of salsa to pick. Complimentary beans also served to customers. You can tell the locals like this place during the lunch hour. I enjoyed such a wide variety menu from such a low key spot. I now see why this place got so many positive reviews. I will certainly come back.

A group of 8 of us had late lunch/early dinner at this place while visiting Houston from out of state. We arrived super hungry and left very happy and full! The food was yummy, fresh, hot and just about the right portion. Because it was super tasty, I could have eaten more :) The service was amazing. The hostess was super helpful, guided us with our choices and also could accommodate a veggie option for me. Of course the dishes were tasty in themselves, but the hot sauces kicked it up a notch! Also liked the accompaniment of light beers. Definitely recommending to friends and family!

I found this place on google. Decided to try it out and was in search for an authentic Mexican place to eat. The outside was cute. The inside was small it was a quite Saturday afternoon. The food was amazing, I got the taco platter and I was very pleased with the portion size. The tacos filled me up so fast I wish I could of ate more. The rice was season perfectly. The chips were fresh and crispy and the seasoning on it was so good I wish the put more. The salas was good I never had salsa like that before. The sauce the good I like the jalapeño one that's as far as my spice level I can take. However my fiancé loved the spicy one his eyes was tearing so I know it was way to hot for me. I definitely will be back to try more.

This place still gets there in a wonderful way. The breakfast is tops in the area ... particularly the chilaquiles. Service here is top notch, and the place is as clean as any restaurant in the area. Kudos to these folks.

Delicioso! Muy Bien. I have been wanting to try this cute little place since I moved over here to the Seabrook area. I tired their Breakfast Tacos first. Very yummy and satisfying. The Beans are fabulous! I really like the ambiance and the employees are super nice! Can't wait to come back for MAS!! Forks up!!!

I have driven pass this restaurant for years and always wanted to try them out. My wife always said no till her birthday came and I pointed out that they had fish tacos. Now trust me that she is a fish taco aficionado. I remember having them freshly made from a street cart in Ensenada Mexico. She obviously ordered the fish taco plate. It came with 3 double fish tacos, refried beans, rice and salad. She really liked the rice and refried beans. The salad was meh. Now for the fish tacos. She said they were the worst ever! They were frozen and not fresh, very dry and the batter was very thick. Fish sticks are better. Now for my plate. I ordered the ceviche with a lime and lots of mini shrimps which was EXCELLENT. It came with chips and for .50 I added the dipping sauce which was a bit spicy. 24 hours later and I am still thinking about the cerviche!!! Our appetizer was chips and queso which my wife really liked. We were given 2 samples of their charro beans which were very tasty. They have habanero sauces from mild to extra hot. Trust me I love very hot sauces and this one was. I was disappointed that they would not sell me the extra hot sauce in the same serving bottle that they have on the table. I have a company party coming up that would have promoted them with their label. They offered unlabeled bottles which I didn't want. The service was outstanding. Very polite and friendly. You order at the counter and they bring the order to your table. The place was impeccably clean and they wore masks. I always check the bathroom and it was very clean but don't touch the light switch with exposed wiring. The bill was $36 which seemed high. I will definitely come back for the cerviche but it would have to be without the wife.

The dining area is pretty spacious and on New Year's eve there were just a few other guests also dining there. A few others came in grabbed to go orders and left. The women's bathroom was spotless. I forgot to get our servers name but she was great and it didn't take too long for us to get our food besides the patties being made fresh to order. The beef, chicken and spinach patties were all fresh, flaky, crispy, and well seasoned with the perfect amount of spice. I had brown stew chicken with rice/peas, cabbage/carrots and plantains and my niece had jerk chicken with white rice, plantains and greens. All the food was good except I felt they skimped on my chicken portion a little and my chicken could've used a little more spice. It was cooked perfectly though, very tender and even though the portion was smaller than I'm used to it was just the right amount for me to eat during lunch, just not enough to take home for later like I'm used to doing at other Caribbean spots. We ended up getting patties, plantains and jerk chicken to go. Also, the patties were fresh and piping hot but the rest of our food was warm, almost room temperature.

Didn't wanna drive all across town for good Jamaican food so I came here this week. Let's just say costly for the quantity they give, and very little to nothing. I've been places where 25.00 dollars for peas and rice, oxtails, plantains and cabbage, will be plentiful, and can't finish on a good day, with no shortening. I feel there isn't any competition in this area, so you get a sense of they are the best, when they aren't. Well if you know know, then you know. Wanted the oxtail plate, but was told approximately only four oxtails come with it. SMH, FOR THE PRICE. Yes, you can choose two sides per plate, although additional plantains are 6 dollars more for an order of maybe 6. That's a dollar each almost, and just wanted a double order with my meal. Sides are Carribean/American mixed. No this isn't a Jamaican restaurant with all your taste buds flavors, and your quantity per meal/price. So I asked about the Jerk Chicken plate, which I like my oxtail gravy on my chicken and rice because I can't have alot of spice, meaning the jerk sauce. The cook told me, they don't normally do that...but she will honor it that night. Once again, customer has a preference in gravy versus sauce. She went added it on the side. But encourage me to try the jerk sauce on the side. Maybe cause I'm well traveled that oxtail gravy on the side taste like the broth from oxtail, but more like regular beef broth, no gravy. And the jerk sauce on the side also was bland, and plain. The jerk chicken by the way taste like it had Mrs. Dash orginal seasoning written all on it, and the portions were small, not what I'm use to elsewhere for those orders. And I could only imagine the oxtail plate...Smh, glad i didn't choose that. The wet mac n cheese and plantains were the only good thing. I guess every Carribean Island country is different, and how they do there plates. St. Croix by the way. But no justification to the seasoning and sauces. The cashier said they been open about two years, and yes I seen alot of people with either food delivery or takeout like myself that night, but not dining in. They do have a 4.5 stars on Google review, can't explain it why. Well, for the price and what you are getting isn't worth it here from my thoughts. And not to mention the drinks/juices are like 5.00 dollars or more. I'll leave this place at a 1 star, for the mac n cheese and plantains only.

The BBQ chicken, macaroni pie, rice, and potato salad were decent. I wouldn't say it's something I'd crave or go out of my way for again. Parking: Sufficient surface parking.
