Staff is so disrespectful! I don't understand why people feel like they can talk to you how ever they feel like! Never again!

We shared the corn, which was perfectly sweet and tangy, ordered three lemonades, and tried a handful of tacos. The taco de lengua was tender and moist without being fatty, the barbacoa was savory with just the right hint of sweetness, and the carne asada was hearty, meaty, and full of flavor. We wrapped things up with a flan that was creamy and custardy--exactly how it should be. The packed parking lot says it all about this place's popularity. Don't miss out.

There are definitely a variety of taco choices. I haven't been unsatisfied yet. There is a small eating area inside away from the bottleneck area where people order and pick up their food but I don't think I'd ever want to eat inside since it's way too busy and the ambiance would be too hectic for me to deal with. There are other choices of sides or extras like maíz loco (corn on the cob with a variety of toppings like mayo, catsup, crumbled cheese, tajín...your choices), dried pork rinds, chicharrón (chewier and crispy version of the pork rinds), atole (hot, masa-based beverage made from corn dough, water or milk, sweetened with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla). There are quick desserts to go too. I would highly recommend ordering ahead so you can get in and out or figuring out the less congested times. I've come during the dinner rush hours time but hadn't been planning on getting it ahead of time. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come back.

I ordered two pupusa tacos-one steak and one shrimp. They have a chicken and chorizo version as well. The pupusa tacos were not on the menu but they costed $6 each. It was between a 10-15 minute wait. Tacos and pupusas are two of my favorite things separately so I was excited to try them as one. The steak was flavorful on its own and was good in the taco. My only issue with the steak is there were some fatty pieces that were inedible. The shrimp was a little tough but still good. In my opinion, the steak taco was much better than the shrimp. I wish they came with a side of curtido because that would've really set everything off. I would go back to try more items. The food was tasty and there's a designated parking lot. That's always a plus for me.

A cheese pupusa used instead of a tortilla as the base, and it's loaded with all of the fixings. I ordered them for a party years ago, and most recently I tried their chorizo and shrimp ones for the first time. They were delicious and filling! FYI they're $6 each, but I think it balances out based on what you're getting. This is my first time they're in person since they moved. It used to be deeper into Landover... Right across from where my friend lives, actually. Now they are basically at the intersection of 450 and 410. Unless you look closely at the window, they are very easy to miss. When I went, the blinds were closed and they don't have a sign! Decide you order on has a few tables, and the other side has more with a pool table and bar. I don't know when the bar opens, but it looks like it would be fun. The chair is at the tables on that side look like they could use some updating. It's up to you whether you decide to dine in like I did, but you absolutely must try a putaco. DO IT.

If you eat there they might cater a bit but their vibe is just annoyed with you for being there & possibly hear their gossip. My mom prefers this location over La Cabaña & the other el Rey (they are not owned by same person & they are different btw) I have personally had their tacos Al pastor, Carnitas and I had a Carne Asada Huarache which contained undercooked meat :/ sure it looked well cooked but you could not even chew the meat, if you tried you will come to see the red of the undercooked inside. To add to my disappointment the meat lack any flavor, no seasoning, no salt. The only salt you could taste was that of the flour. Overall, I like their tacos because they are hefty!! I was getting full with 1 1/2 and I do eat both tortillas that they come with it. (Doble tortilla) Lemons and Rábano were not fresh and had a funny taste. Sauces were okay, red was better than the green sauce. Carnitas had the best taste compare to Al pastor. Attaching photos of one of the hefty tacos & the undercooked "huarache". Yes, I got stomach infection for it.
