Came here for lunch and ordered the steak quesadilla as well as the burrito with goat meat. The wait for the food didn't take long and probably waited about 7-10 minutes. The place was okay, seemed tight and the waitress had to squeeze through the tables to get through. Overall the food was good and would definitely be back.

This place rocks! I came in here on a whim, and I'm super glad that I did. The tacos are HUGE and absolutely delicious - easily the best I've had in years. The price is also pretty reasonable for the quantity of food you get. The staff is super friendly but don't seem to speak English, so you might have to do some menu pointing, but that's part of the charm. If you find yourself in the area, check it out!

So glad to finally try this mom & pop restaurant because there tacos are pretty bomb! I love the variety of plates that they serve up. They serve breakfast plates, tacos, desserts and main entrees. They also sell cooked taco meats by the pound which is great for parties! The following is what we tried: *Lengua- beef tongue was soft & my favorite *Buche- pork belly, a little tough and seasoning was ok *Carne Asada- grilled steak was pretty flavorful just wished it had been in larger pieces for the burrito *Al Pastor- marinated pork was like sautéed pork and not from the rotating spit *Carne Asada Burrito- was massive and had all the different toppings inside They provide: Parking, Indoor Dining, Take Out

This is the watermelon drink that you should get

Good food and service best watermelon drink 10/10 should come my steak was hard and they replaced it with the best steak I ever had and only charge me for 1

Three tacos at Taqueria Tres Reyes

This is about as authentic as I'm going to get north of the Rio Grande. How authentic was it? I was probably the only person in the place that spoke English. Even the gal at the counter knew about five words and I used up most with "chicken" and "three". Yep, I had three tacos at the Taqueria Tres Reyes. I figure that if that's what they're going to call themselves then that's what I'm going to have. One chicken, one beef and one pork. All were quite tasty with plenty of meat on each one and with a lime for each one, too! You'll be able to see them in the picture I posted. I was also brought the hot sauces. Yep, they were hot. I didn't even try. Cholula is about the most I can handle on a good day. They also have Mexican sodas here. I chose an Orange Fanta, which has tons of chemicals in it but no high fructose corn syrup. It's all cane sugar in Mexico!

So delicious! I got carne asada with rice and plantains. Everything was super flavorful and super filling. Definitely would recommend and definitely coming back!! Don't mind the fork, I was super excited

Decent Mexican food establishment. Service is friendly and fast. The menu is varied with different items to try. Atmosphere is clean and bright. Salsas brought out to the table compliment when eating in. Tried a few tacos and a quesadilla. Everything came out as ordered, had to ask for grilled onion, not sure if that's standard or extra.

FINALLY! A Mexican restaurant that makes me feel like I'm back in my hometown of San Diego. I live and work in Northern Virginia, but a few weeks ago ventured out to MD for business reasons. Not knowing where to have lunch, I went to my trusty friend Yelp for suggestions... And once again, Yelp helped me find a gem. Their menu offers a wide selection of items; I had three tacos on my first visit (beef, pork and chicken) and they did not disappoint. The tortillas were much like the freshly made tortillas I've had in SD (not like anything you can find in a store) and the pork and beef were very tasty! Chicken was only so-so, which was fine because the two tacos I had had a ton of meat and were really are filling. I loved the tacos so much, I brought my husband to Taqueria Tres Reyes later that week. That time around I had the carne asada tacos with a side of rice -- best rice ever! I can't wait to go back and try the posole (seemed to be the popular choice -- in addition to the tacos, that second time around). This place is the real deal. Come here and you won't be disappointed.

The best American Mexican food I have had on the east coast (Cali still has my stomach and heart). The carne asada quesadilla and tacos were amazing. The carne asada quesadilla is monstrous (see pic)---it is literally a foot long. BUT most importantly, it was very tasty. The tacos are also loaded with flavorful meat and I loved the fact that they are generous garnished with cilantro and onions. Value = Amazing. The price for two tacos and a carne asada quesadilla: $10.50!

Food: I got chicken, beef and pork tacos. Each came with two tortillas, onions, and cilantro. Each had very distinct flavors and were hot and juicy! The plate came with different vegetable sides and a lime for each taco. We were also given a sauce set and there was regular hot sauce on the table. My friend got the chicken and queso quesadilla (redundant, eh?) I tried a bit and it was all right. I like variety, so I personally prefer getting tacos with different meats. They had a lot of different items on the menu - like soups and desserts. Wish I took a menu to go. Service: Not much to say, you order and pay at the cashier and the food is brought to you. One of the workers didn't understand me when I asked for a fork, but the other workers were able to take care of that. Setting: The restaurant from the outside is brightly painted and the interior is decorated with bright furniture, murals and objects. There was a huge tv showing a soccer game and it was pretty loud, but we didn't mind it because it seemed to fit the festive theme. Pretty good food and great portion for the price!

I forget the name of this sandwich, but I do remember it's filling was scrambled eggs and chorizo.

We shared the corn, which was perfectly sweet and tangy, ordered three lemonades, and tried a handful of tacos. The taco de lengua was tender and moist without being fatty, the barbacoa was savory with just the right hint of sweetness, and the carne asada was hearty, meaty, and full of flavor. We wrapped things up with a flan that was creamy and custardy--exactly how it should be. The packed parking lot says it all about this place's popularity. Don't miss out.

There are definitely a variety of taco choices. I haven't been unsatisfied yet. There is a small eating area inside away from the bottleneck area where people order and pick up their food but I don't think I'd ever want to eat inside since it's way too busy and the ambiance would be too hectic for me to deal with. There are other choices of sides or extras like maíz loco (corn on the cob with a variety of toppings like mayo, catsup, crumbled cheese, tajín...your choices), dried pork rinds, chicharrón (chewier and crispy version of the pork rinds), atole (hot, masa-based beverage made from corn dough, water or milk, sweetened with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla). There are quick desserts to go too. I would highly recommend ordering ahead so you can get in and out or figuring out the less congested times. I've come during the dinner rush hours time but hadn't been planning on getting it ahead of time. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come back.

This place I went to this past weekend. I've been there when they first opened so now they've expanded. They've put on an addition and they are obviously going to be playing with a band. However this addition is not air-conditioned. They have fans in there but it's not air-conditioned. If you're a person who wants to have air conditioning while they eat, you probably don't want to come here right now until they finish. For the food not bad, not bad at all. I had a beef burrito. I didn't finish it because it kind of reminded me of a burrito steak and cheese but I've had other things. All of the sauces were good and the black beans were excellent. I'm sure they have a wide and varied menu so I'm sure that you will find something that you like. The staff is not completely good with English but the prices were very inexpensive and they have a carry-out. In fact the carry-out is the biggest part of it. I'd recommend it if you are passing this area and you got a yen for authentic Mexican food. You owe yourself a visit.
