"Taco" bell..... try harder??? My tacos were appear thin and we didn't get half of our order....

Supposed to be the beefy 5 layer burrito no beans but there's no anything no cheese at all, little sour cream, and scraps of meat.

Absolutely awful paid extra for nothing very highly disappointed no meat very little cheese, paid extra for jalapeños and tomato got literally 2 jalapeños and bare minimum amount of tomato paid $5+ for a bag of tortillas basically.

The drive through is horrific. Very poorly managed. The line takes forever and the order is usually incorrect.

Wow. Excellent food. Fabulous service. Great ambiance. Yeah....NOT! Horrible. Only coke Herr when drunk and everything else is closed.

I was greeted in the drive thru and was excited to find out that my favorite items on the menu weren't up-charged like other TB locations in the area.

I love being surprised like this!!…read more We've all driven by the waving cactus on US1 but never stopped, cuz it's just an other taco truck, right? Wrong!! Got out of rehearsal and wanted something different so we pulled in. They were just about to close but were friendly and happy to help us get our taco fix. I got 3 Tacos Carnitas on flour tortillas. Shredded pork was delicious, tender, and flavorful, but tasted a little more like Southern pulled pork than what I was expecting. Not bad, just different. The lovely Spensyr got a Carne Asada on corn tortilla and declared the steak very yummy!! Her side of street corn was so good I only got one bite! Chips and Guac were the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review. Chips were a little on the thick side and no salt, guacamole also lacked seasoning but with some lime juice and hot sauce added it wasn't half bad. We ate it all anyway... But that's not even the best part. If you walk 10' away, there's some big old gates that open into a walled wonderland. Peaceful music playing, trees and plants, quiet seating areas. We will definitely be back!

Some prices are equally high, but if you choose well you don't have to break the bank. Meanwhile you'll get to experience what a creative chef can do to elevate the usual street food to an experience. There was only one server, but he covered the whole room during our lunch with ease. He was very good -- efficient with a pleasing personality. We started with the elote appetizer -- Mexican street corn. The presentation was wonderful. This was perfect to share. It was messy, but delicious. There were three large pieces. Each was a long section of a corn cob with the kernels attached. And it was covered in seasoning, cheese, and sauce. There were lime wedges on the side. We used a lot of napkins. After the corn , we each ordered a taco. I had the fish one. Very lightly battered pollock, it was one piece of fish. Along with the fish was a cabbage slaw, salsa, and cheese. It was served open faced on top of the flour tortilla. It was fairly plain without the sauce and benefited from some lime squeezes. My husband had the al pastor taco. The meat was served on top of two tortillas. He then stuffed each shell to his liking. There was a lot of shredded pork along with grilled pineapple, onions, and cilantro. He said it was very good with a bit of a kick from the meat marinade. They have a lot more than tacos on the menu. Full entrees from snapper to steak. Also salads and appetizers from mussels to empanadas. Glad we dropped by for lunch to try them. It was a learning experience -- as well as a good meal.

Some of the meat was a little dry, however with their guacamole and sauces that they offer I ended up finishing the whole thing! The place itself is really nice with the doors open and good atmosphere and their staff was super friendly and was always checking in on this. We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!

There was a large free parking lot right in front. This was an easy stop and Yelp friends are raving about them. I smelled the tacos as soon as I got out of my car. Taco Tuesday was cute in black and orange with lots of clean tables, high tops, and outside tables. We went straight over to the tablets, scrolled and placed our order, tapping a credit card to finish. We weren't really sure if there were specials or meals were the best way to order. It is Cinco de Mayo and Tuesday here and we didn't see anything special. We grabbed a table near the walk of fame and sat down to watch the music video while we waited for our food. There was no hand soap in the ladies room, so I used the soap in the men's room. I mentioned it on the way in and when I washed up to leave, there was still no soap. We each had 2 birra tacos, shared a drink and rice and beans for $15 pp including tax and tip. Our food came out quickly with a bottle of green and a spicy red salsa. Our lunch was okay the tacos were a little messy crumbling as I was trying to eat them. They weren't full of fresh flavors, they just tasted washed out and watery.
