    Birria Mac 'n' Cheese

Overall very nice ambience and clean. I got the bang bang shrimp and thought it was ok. My husband got the birria mac and cheese and it was very filling! Overall very nice but might try different tacos next time! I did like their drinks!

Great tacos and a cool shop in Boynton Beach. I would recommend checking it out if you're in town and have late night munchies.

This was our first time at Talking Tacos in Boynton Beach and we were impressed. The ordering process is quick and easy. You place your order at one of the two monitors, grab a table number, and the food is brought out to you. We tried the birria tacos, Caribbean carne asada tacos, quesabirria, street corn in a cup, and queso with chips. Every dish was delicious and came out fresh and hot. The birria and quesabirria were standouts, packed with flavor and perfect for dipping. The street corn in a cup was creamy and well seasoned, and the queso with chips was a solid starter. The young lady who helped us was very friendly, nice, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The space feels casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for a quick but satisfying meal. Will definitely be back and try more from their menu.

What do you do when your girl has a late night hankering for ramen AND birria? You head to Talkin' Tacos! We walked in at 10pm, which wasn't a problem since they are open til 2, wandered over to the ordering kiosk, and a very polite young lady came over and explained to take and use a number placard instead of our name when ordering. Day glo colored skulls and black lights make for a very cool vibe at night. I opted for a simple first time order, guac & chips, while the lovely Spensyr got the aforementioned birria ramen, and we both got an icy cold mangonada. My thoughts : - Guacamole came covered with tomatoes, and it was very loose, not quite watery but pretty close. Lots of salt and lime were the dominant flavors, and avocado was next but no garlic or spice flavors at all. It was surrounded by a bed of unsalted chips which had been liberally sprinkled with chopped cilantro. - Birria ramen was definitely both of those things combined but sadly this was one time when the combination of two good things together is not as good as either by itself. Instant ramen noodles were the base for the overly sweet soup which just reminded me of a cinnamon rubbed shredded meat. The beautiful fatty - vinegary - peppery - bright fresh taste of a real birria was nowhere to be found. - Mangonada was tasty but all mango and no nada. - We ended our meal with candy for dessert but even that was just meh. In a town full of incredible taco joints, this one falls short. Skip it.

My first time at a Talkin' Tacos! I was excited and I can say that walking in around 7PM on a Wednesday, the place was almost empty. We were glad that it meant there wouldn't be a long wait. We couldn't find any staff members up front. No one was at the cash register. There are self ordering kiosks so we did that. I usually like my tacos on flour tortilla but I didn't see an option on the kiosk or a person to ask. I went and tried 2 carne asada and 1 shrimp taco on their corn tortilla and it was good! I saw a table ahead of me ask a staff member for a glass of tap water and the staff who responded was friendly. I took suit. I ended up asking another staff member for tap water and she rolled her eyes at me. When I received my one cup of tap water, I said thank you, and she also ignored me. Can mark that down as poor service. Food was good but not hot. Our tacos came out lukewarm but presentation was nice. Definitely messy. I would say it's pricy as well coming out to about $5/taco. I would come back again but not as a regular customer.

This actually turned out to be a great late night dinner choice (they are open til 2am) because I was hungry but also wanted to not have to extrovert! I loved seeing the ordering kiosks, there wasn't a line so I could take my time ordering and didn't have to talk to anyone to order. The staff who was running food was friendly and efficient The ambience at night is very cool with the majority of art on the tables and the wall glowing under the black lights. The neon was also a vibe! I imagine during the day it's nice but not quite as "cool". One drawback is parking faces into the restaurant so be aware in the evening if you sit facing the entrance you might get headlights in your face. I had the Birria ramen. It was just ok. Not as amazing as other Birria consommé I have had so I question whether any of their other Birria options would be worth trying. My Love had the guac and chips. He thought the guac was salty, I thought it had too much citrus. Either way there was a bite that overwhelmed with salt/acid and there was not enough garlic or onion or spices to make it tasty. The portion size was good though. We both tried the Mangonada drink. Had a nice mango slush flavor but not nearly enough chamoy or tajin. The gummy candy dessert however was tossed in plenty of chamoy and tajin. Honestly it had the most flavor of the night. Overall, The foods ok. The prices are ok, the vibe is cool. I'd give them another shot and maybe I'd try the street corn nachos next time.

Talking Tacos, you beautiful, taco-slinging hero of the night! We showed up here when literally everything else was closed on a Saturday night. I'm talking tumbleweeds and "sorry, kitchen's closed" everywhere--but not you, Talking Tacos. You were there for us. Like a tortilla-wrapped guardian angel. Let's talk about the Birria Ramen. Oh. My. Goodness. It was like a warm hug from someone who knows how to season their food. Savory, meaty, dripping with flavor, and topped with fresh cilantro and onions--it was love at first slurp. Now, minor hiccup... they ran out of spoons. So there I am, sitting like a slightly confused ninja, eating ramen soup with chopsticks and a fork. A fork, people. Pretty sure I burned more calories trying to scoop broth than I did walking in. Still worth it. Maybe BYOS (bring your own spoon) next time? Bottom line: if it's late, you're hungry, and your soul needs healing via tacos or ramen, Talking Tacos is the move. Midnight cravings = satisfied.

The ambiance is awesome, I love yhe vibe and feeling, need to come.back at night and hopefully yhe blacklists work. The service, you order from a screen and then sit down. They have someone bring out the food and clean up and thats about the most of the intercation I had. So I thr sampler of thr queso, guacamole and pico. To call this a sampler is not right the containers are packed solid with each one, the same thing goes for the Mexican street corn. All had very nice fresh flavors and I was very happy. I had one of the chicken tacos and honestly I was excited because everything else had so much flavor and I was very disappointed in the tacos, I was hoping for more of a pop of flavor but found them very lacking.

This place definitely has a cool vibe going on! The decor makes this place feel like a bit like a lounge! Upon entering we were greeted and given instructions on how to order! In case you don't know, you order from the kiosk, grab a number and find a table! Shortly after they serve you drinks and with in minutes your food comes out served to your table! I definitely want to shout out Leanna (I hope I spelled her name correctly) she was such an amazing hostess! The food was great too! Definitely enjoyed it! The entree was well proportioned and definitely left full with leftovers! Fun fact: you would think that this is a Mexican spot but I was informed that it is actually a Halal spot that serves Mexican dishes!! No pork on the menu! I'm a fan!

I enjoyed the birria quesadilla and also the Philly cheese steak quesadilla. This place you order at the counter and they bring your food out. My husband has gotten the buffalo chicken quesadilla with blue cheese and when I took a bite it's good as well. My daughter got the kids steak tacos and didn't like that the cheese was cold and sprinkled on too and not warm and melty. Besides that, it's good. Also, I always get the frozen mango rita with a tajin rim which is delicious. The atmosphere is a chili vibe. I like the colors and decor inside.

Okay, I'll start out with the positive. The food was absolutely delicious! Really amazing flavors and everything is well seasoned with complimenting acidity to the spice. I would absolutely want to eat here again and try different things on the menu. However. The decor is sparse. There's no menus up to look at. There's only two ordering kiosks, and they aren't easy to navigate. I really felt bad for the one girl that was on the floor that was trying to help people at the kiosk, trying to help deliver food trying to help deliver drinks, and clean tables. She was very overwhelmed. Also it felt like the air conditioning was out tonight, so that made it kind of miserable. Everything has to come from the back so there's a lot of waiting, especially with only one employee on the floor. My friends and I were very thirsty and she was only able to refill our cups once because she was so overwhelmed. She kept a sweet attitude and I give her credit for that. I don't know how long they've been open but they definitely have some kinks to work out. There was a nasty rag left in the ladies restroom right by the sink that kind of grossed me out. I would give it another shot to be there, but this may be a place for pickup if you know what I mean. But because the other stuff can be fixed, and the food was so good for all of us, I'm still going to give it four stars.

Chips & guac. Birria tacos with consommé.
    Robyn W.

I don't know how I feel about this place honestly. I was super excited to try the birria tacos but they were just ok..grease kinda squirted out every bite even without consommé. The guac was good but the chips were super stale and bland. The green hot sauce has blue food coloring in it, which was disappointing so I skipped it. It's one of those places where you order on the app and they call your name to drop off food. One employee was very chipper, friendly and offered water since we didn't buy a drink. I wanted a Diet Coke but they only have speciality drinks not regular fountain sodas. The walls are black with neon splatter, reminded me of my highschool backup or binder. The coolest part was the "feed me tacos and tell me I'm pretty" sign because ya same, do that lol. I don't know if I'll prioritize coming back but wouldn't completely refuse if someone wanted to go.

    Jasmin C.

I think the food here is very overpriced for what it's worth. 2 adults / 2 kids with 3 entree (no sides) and one drink for roughly $70. I had the Carne Asada Tacos (3) and it was ok. The steak was seasoned well but overpowered by the super greasy tortilla. My daughter wanted to try this place and now that she did, she doesn't care to return. The service was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. You have to order from the 2 kiosk station and grab a number to put on your table. They can bring you items like sour cream and a few other sauces from the kitchen, but you have to ask for it. Same goes with water if you don't want to order bottle water.

Everything else we ordered was fine and enjoyable. Our server for a large party did a great job with splitting checks and remembering each meals along with topping off drinks. The inside of the restaurant could really use some attention. It looks a bit rundown, the tables were a little dirty, and the silverware wasn't clean, which took away from the experience. With some improvements to cleanliness, a refresh to the space, and more consistency in the kitchen, this place could easily be better. There's potential here, but right now it lands at a solid three stars.
