I came to this Taco Tuesday for the Elite Yelp event. I have been to locations in Broward, but now it's good to know that there is a location closer to my home. I had a chicken and a beef taco. Both were delicious and not to spicy, the way I like it. The Flan dessert topped my meal off and satisfied my sweet tooth. Parking was easy... just in front of the restaurant in the strip center lot. I ate inside while listening to the pleasant music. It was dinner time, but wasn't crowded at all. I brought my little service dog. He loved it as well. It is Cinco de Mayo and I am craving a birra taco. They are on our way home from Costco right off Congress in the Lake Ida Plaza, in a House of Appliance strip mall. There was a large free parking lot right in front. This was an easy stop and Yelp friends are raving about them. I smelled the tacos as soon as I got out of my car. Taco Tuesday was cute in black and orange with lots of clean tables, high tops, and outside tables. We went straight over to the tablets, scrolled and placed our order, tapping a credit card to finish. We weren't really sure if there were specials or meals were the best way to order. It is Cinco de Mayo and Tuesday here and we didn't see anything special. We grabbed a table near the walk of fame and sat down to watch the music video while we waited for our food. There was no hand soap in the ladies room, so I used the soap in the men's room. I mentioned it on the way in and when I washed up to leave, there was still no soap. We each had 2 birra tacos, shared a drink and rice and beans for $15 pp including tax and tip. Our food came out quickly with a bottle of green and a spicy red salsa. Absolutely amazing! This is definitely a hidden gem in Delray Beach! The food is fresh, hot and made on site! The shrimp tacos are the very best! The donuts are to die for! Loved the homemade sauce and found out they even sell it! I love that they had Uno and other card games on the tables for people to play while they are waiting for their food. Definitely brings people together. The service was great and there was a great vibe. The restaurant was clean and there were TVs showing sports. This fast food Mexican is in the strip mall on Congress and Lake Ida in Delray. There is ample parking here. My wife and I both had 2 birra tacos. They were not the most tasty. The service was good. They were ready in less than 10 minutes although they were nothing special. More on the bland side. I tried a birria quesadilla and was surprised at how small it was. Sorta disappointed that it wasn't served with any sauce or salsa. It was pretty basic and lacked flavor, although the meat was cooked perfectly. I wouldn't order this item again. This is a fairly new taco joint with some tables inside and out and a take out counter. The gentleman who took my order came out from behind to explain the menu above the counter. (He also came out to bring me my take out order.) The menu was tacos - supreme and street tacos. All different varieties. They also had some quesadillas . I ordered a supreme BBQ shredded pork with sliced avocados, picked onions and cilantro. It was a great choice as far as taste but very small tortilla filled with meat. Enough for me for a quick bite. Most people would need 2 or 3 at $4.99 each. They did have 3 street tacos for $11.99 with choice of meat. Fillings were onion and cilantro only. I will try this next time because I will return. Cute little place, clean, nice lighting, seating inside and outside. They have a small basic Mexican menu...tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos. That's pretty much it. We ordered one ground beef burrito which was fine. Bland, unexciting, the tally basic, but fine. Then we ordered a 3 taco combo which included a small cup of pico which tasted very fresh and was probably the best part of the whole meal. Also came with chips. The 3 tacos I got were chorizo, ground beef, and grilled chicken. There was some cilantro on top, and as far as I could tell, that was it. Super plain, super bland. The combo also came with rice and beans, also just super bland and tasteless. Really a disappointing meal. read more

We went for lunch on a Sunday. You can order your own food at the digital kiosk. We ordered a chicken, steak, shrimp, and Beria tacos. And a side of guacamole. The Barilla tacos were absolutely delicious and some of the best in the area. The other tacos were good as well, the steak had a few pieces that were a little bit. Chewy but still really good. Staff was very friendly and attentive, they even brought over some of their homemade salsa for us to try. *Update (barely)* Shortly after I posted this review, someone reached out and said "your lunch special is on the way" to which I responded saying that I was appreciative and would be happy to amend my review if I received my order and was able to enjoy it. About an hour later the same person messaged and asked if I would want to pick up the food. Obviously, I would not want to drive to the restaurant to pick up the food that I already paid to have delivered to me. At this point (considering I had thought the food was on its way this whole time) I needed to just go ahead and eat something else. I especially could not wait any longer because I'm pregnant and cannot wait hours to have lunch, I need to eat when I'm hungry or I will not feel well. Needless to say, never got the food. It's especially disappointing to be told the restaurant cares about their mistake and they're willing to fix it and then the lack of action shows the opposite is true. Stopped by for lunch after reading solid reviews. We ordered two ground beef tacos, the 4 quesadilla plate and two mandarin sodas. The tacos were small, 6" soft shells with bland ground beef, cheese, salsa and cilantro sprinkled on top. $5.00 each is outrageous for basically two-bite tacos that were flavorless and watery. The 4 quesadilla plate with pulled chicken was also underwhelming in portion and flavor for $12.50. I've made better at home. No complimentary chips and salsa. No table service. Hard, metal chairs. You'd think the money saved from having no wait staff and customers self-cleaning their own tables would allow for either better-seasoned food or lower pricing. But nope. The place was clean and people pleasant enough. The black and orange decor was not reminiscent of any eating establishments I've visited in Mexico or US border towns. Bathrooms available, lots of parking. They have an inside and outside. Inside is slightly air conditioned (lots of people in and out so hard to keep AC). Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their tortillas are homemade corn tortillas, the only non gluten free thing is the flour tortillas for the burritos. They are cooked on the same grill as the corn tortillas that's is the only cross contamination. You should ask if you have a severe allergy. The corn tortillas are not only vegan but also gluten free. I had birria, chicken tinga, and steak tacos. My mom had grilled chicken tacos my dad had the burrito. The birria tortilla wasn't soaked in the consomé and the meat wasn't juicy full of the sauce/consome. So I wouldn't recommend that ones chicken tinga was good the steak was great. My mom liked her grilled chicken ones. The burrito was huge and my dad said I was greats we had their cheese dip and it was really good and thick cheese dip, they don't give you much chips though. The flan was good but I like when there's lots of the caramelized sauce but it was pretty tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful which is why I gave them a 4 if it was based on food I would have said a 3, but I love how gluten free friendly it is, lots of choices and the staff was super nice Drinks are served on property but it's cans of wine and beer. I was a little hesitant in trying this place out. Definitely felt like I was cheating on my regular taco spot. But I am so glad we did! Prices are a little higher than I'd like but I was very satisfied after my meal. I came here on a Friday during lunch. It wasn't busy and I liked that I was in and out. They are still a new business so I'm glad I didn't have a long wait. And during our wait, they gave us free chips to munch on! The service was also impeccable. The guy taking our order was passionate and kind! Really helped us narrow down what we wanted and even let us sample a chicken. I tried the shrimp taco and the al pastor. A little disappointed they didn't offer flour tortilla for tacos but that's okay. They came in these cool black corn tortillas! Usually I like my shrimp taco kinda plain but I wanted to try it as is. If they perfected their menu, I'm sure they know what they're doing. I LOVED the shrimp taco. One of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. Really great food and super friendly owners. We had 2 steak tacos, a pulled pork taco and a chicken taco. All so very fresh and tasty with a nice amount of onions and cilantro for extra flavor.
