    Doritos Locos Taco

My husband and I were both so tired we wanted something quick and easy to eat. Mexican food is always a good choice for me because of my wheat allergy. I can usually always eat something with corn tortillas. I ordered the Mexican Pizza Combo with two Doritos Locos Tacos and a Brisk Mango Fiesta. The tacos were good and the drink was amazing. I know the Mexican Pizza was amazing but it was for my hubby because I can't eat it. It used to be one of my faves before I became allergic to wheat. He also had two Crunch Wraps. He said they were great. I think Taco Bell is always a safe bet. They brought back the Mexican Pizza , I hope they bring back Mexi-melts next. That would make my hubby and a lot of other people very happy.

    Burnt potatoes on my taco.

The only good thing about fast food was consistency. But you lost that over the years. The manager made my food and she still served me these old Burnt potatoes on my taco. I understand some average young kid that worked there, but it was the manager that made it what happened to standards.

When we arrived the employee behind the counter asked us if we were there for a delivery pick up? We said no and that we would like to order and he just said "oh" as if he was confused or irritated...? Kind of bizarre. We proceeded to order. The employees did not know how to apply virtual gift cards. My daughter got a $25 gc via email for her birthday and we were unable to use it. Two tried but they were completely dumbfounded and said there was no way to manually type in the card number, even though a # and pin was clearly listed on the email...I don't entirely blame them, this is clearly an annoying corporate issue. I paid for our meal. Not sure what to do with this email gift card now? What a waste of my friends money. On the bright side, My daughter was excited that the Mexican pizza was back and the rest of our food was up to par.

Fries are always good. Though this time cold. It's a new product so I'm not hating too bad but it was really good although I could ask for more of that jalapeño ranch, you can barely taste it for the price.

They did me dirtyyyy. The picture speaks for itself . Tasted like straight chalupa cardboard on top of having nothing in it I think it was left out or reheated cuz the second one tasted better. I feel like this could be good if they made it how it supposed to be made but they look like they are conserving and giving less. When I pay for what's advertised and get garbage it's just a waste of my money.

Had to ask for my food twice and they finally brought it out. It was cold because they forgot it was sitting there.

It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

Michael was my bartender/server, and although he mentioned he was fairly new to the team, he was friendly, attentive, and did a great job taking care of me. I ordered my usual favorites: the Daddy Wings and Chicken Taquitos. I've tried some of the other menu items in the past, including the nachos, but sometimes I just want a few snacks and these two dishes are always a good choice. The wings were delicious as usual, and the taquitos hit the spot. Of course, the beer was ice cold too. One thing that stood out was the customer service. I had a question about points from another Nacho Daddy location, and the manager was kind enough to help me sort things out. I'd also like to thank Paul for helping me with the app and making sure everything was taken care of. Overall, this continues to be one of my favorite stops in Downtown Fremont. Good food, friendly people, cold drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere make it a great place to unwind on a cool Las Vegas afternoon.

From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and excellent service made the night special. Amanda went above and beyond with her customer service. She made sure our flowers and balloons were delivered and beautifully arranged on our table waiting for us, such a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more memorable. Our server was also fantastic, attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was next-level. They must have a new chef because this is hands-down the best Mexican food we've had in Las Vegas. My carne asada chef's special tacos were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor (unlike the dry ones you often get elsewhere). The queso fundido and fresh guacamole were excellent, my wife's shrimp entrée was outstanding, and the flan was truly unique, my daughter said it was the best she's ever had. Every dish was a hit, and the cocktails were fantastic too. Everyone in our group raved about their meals. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and wonderful service in downtown Las Vegas, look no further. La Mona Rosa is highly recommended!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.
