The second time in the city of Las Vegas that I've been abused by a business. The F-word directed at me several times, punished by staff for expecting minimal customer service. I should say that the youngsters in town have been pretty good except when coached into foulness by their elders. By and large, the folks in their 20s and 30s that work in fast-food are the bottom of the barrel - rude, ugly and angry. They've given-up. Approached the drive-thru speaker and - nothing. Sat there over five minutes and nothing. Drove-up to the order window and waited. Nothing. Over five minutes and nothing. Cracked my door and tapped - tapped the order window. I detected a slight glance from an employee at the counter. Then nothing I then rapped on the window for thirty seconds. Nothing. Three or four employees dancing around inside but nothing I walked back to the car behind me - they had the same experience at the drive-thru speaker. I was blocking them in the captive driveway and asked if they wanted me to clear out to let them escape. But they wanted to wait and order at the window. I walked back to my car and knocked on the window again to no avail. But, I caught the eye of a bewildered junior employee and she graciously took my order as I stood at the drive-thru window. About ten minutes later the car behind me asked me to move out so they could leave - they tired of waiting Having moved to the parking lot facing the service window, I observed the next car receive their order. Then I sprinted up and stood at the glass and when they opened the window to serve the NEXT car in line - still being ignored - I interjected about my order. Oh - we're soooo busy - it's not ready yet! And, we're ignoring you because you tapped on the window and that's soooo rude. Huh, I'm rude? I just stood there now, leaning into the building so the car moving thru the lane didn't brush me Another few minutes pass and I see the manager hand my order to the girl at the window (not the sweet girl that took my order) accompanied by a foul remark about me. The window attendant then set my order on the cashier table, three feet from my nose, ignored me, and attended to her other duties like filling sodas - again, just three feet in front of me. About two minutes later, the manager pushes up to the window (I'm videoing at this point) shoved my order at me, barks that I'm not allowed to take video and says something like "have a nice day" in the darkest most pathetic tone So, as I'm in the same parking lot, I'm writing this review, some boy comes out and says I have to leave because I'm videoing the employees and making them uncomfortable. Telling me that it's illegal, yada yada yada. Hardly not illegal. Just ignorance. Anyhow, I was writing this review and not taking any video Big picture: Society is going to sh*t and it's just gonna get worse Las Vegas is a run-down gritty town with some of the nicest people I've ever met. And also a few truly disgusting people I've had very similar experiences at the McDs, KFC and Burger King here in town. Arby's has been good. Seems that the lower tier joints attract a certain type (trash) of employee This is a corporate restaurant and I'll be looking for ways to bring it to the attention of leadership. Given the degree that this place has fallen, most likely corporate has had opportunity to address the issues but nothing changes and doubtfully ever will. Stopped by here on our way to my moms house for the thanksgiving holiday (11/24/2021) Even though the store seemed to be severely under staffed (my heart goes out to you all! Work isn't easy on it's best days, it's even worse when you don't have enough staff). Anywho, even being understaffed the crew did fantastic! Even with all the rude customers, and just all around bs they dealt with. We were more than happy waiting and enjoyed the crew that evening. Food came out as expected and we kept driving. Two stars because I like the food, but holy crap what a trash Taco Bell. Ordered food on the self serve tablet, then for the next twenty minutes I listened to one employee yell and swear at another, all while there was profanity filled rap music blasting in the back that was so loud it drowned out the music in the dining area. It was so bad one lady came in, then immediately left with her kids. I know it's hard to find employees now, but have some standards and actually enforce them. First of all we get there and we are immediately asked to use the kiosk and I'm not computer literate. I got the order figured out after 15 minutes of struggling on how to use it after paying for my order I was standing by the counter admiring the new remodel when a young lady with glasses and blond hair asked if I needed anything I stated "I already ordered" then she asked me not to be watching them I replied "I was admiring the new interior and she said she felt uncomfortable with us watching them cook as it is an open kitchen and dinning area. I would automatically assume that customers could observe. I asked for her manager she said " I am the manager" I then asked for higher up management and she said it's illegal for her to give out that information and also refused to give us her name I stated that she could give out her first name I only asked because there was no name tag visible she then accused my wife of taking pictures of her when my wife was just pulling out her phone to see what other restaurants that were open I also tried to show her that there was no photos or videos taken I stated that there were cameras all inside the building that they would show there was no photos taken she then got mad and threatened to call the police department on my wife I then asked for a refund due to the way she treated us as customers she also stated she had autism I recommended for her to deescalate the situation and just refund my money so I can leave she kept asking not to be yelled at when nobody was physically or verbally abusive, she then got on the phone with someone and started shaking and stated "These people are here causing problems" she also gave my card to a young gentleman with glasses at drive through and she walked away, this gentleman was very kind and professional after taking over the situation as a business owner I train my staff not to treat their customers the way I was treated tonight. I was there with my wife and 2 kids I do apologize for any inconvenience but I do believe she needs to have better training in customer service and on how to deescalate a situation as a proper manager. I will no longer return to this location for dinner. I would rather drive else where even if it takes me going out of Las Vegas NM. I will possibly return during morning or noon shift because your daytime shift is a lot better. I do understand her disability but there are ways for her to better handle her disability when dealing with customers. New Mexico law does not appear to prohibit recording in-person conversations without consent. However, the consent of one party is required to legally record electronic communications. Illegal recording is a misdemeanor, and can subject offenders to civil damages as well. read more

Well I got to say they really deserve this one. Came here tonight at first I was one out of two people in line. Made my order drove away without checking it that was my first mistake. I realized I was given the complete wrong order I turned around and waited in line and politely inform them of their faux pas. So after placing my order again at the speaker box and then a few more times at the window I drove away and once again didn't check my order. I am giving a two star for the food only. We order our food from the clerk and had no problems. We ordered it to go. When the "gentleman" who was putting the order together presented it to us , it was on a tray so I stood their until I got his attention and asked "could we get this in a bag,it is to go". He grabbed a bag and literally threw our food in it, spilling some of the taco onto the counter, and without saying anything stomped away. Wow what an ass. Made a huge mistake getting in the drive thru today driving from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque. They were OUT of crispy taco shells! Might as well close the doors and lock up. I travel the US for work and visit Taco Bells frequently over any other fast food. This has got to be one of the worst in the US. Ive given them 3 tries over 3 weeks. The first evening I went it seemed all the employees were hanging outside and we're going in when they seen a car pull up. I find it hard to believe they all lined up at the sink to wash their hands before performing their duties. Tonight I seen an employee get out of a parked car. The employee was already on the clock with his drive through headset on. He got out, the car with dark tinted windows pulled away. That was shady. Every time I've been there, either they have a meat shortage or they are doing poorly as a store and cutting cost because there is barely any meat in the food. Chicken grilled stuff burrito was packed full of beans to make up for the meat I took one bite into a mouth full of bean and open the burrito finding 2 strips of chicken. Their tacos or chalupas have just enough meat to color the bottom of the shell the rest is made up of lettuce sour cream and cheese. I've seen in numerous websites they are looking for a general managersl. That makes sense why they are running si poorly but makes no sense at the same time. A GM should be promoted from within not hired from outside. Somethings not right with this store. read more
