I love Taco Bell, I also have a very complicated order so I know there may be some mistakes. On this order there were, I tried calling up with no answer so I showed up. The women who took my order definitely did everything right but the cooks were struggling after being slammed. The same person who took my order helped me when I came into the store and handled it like a boss! She was already doing a million things and was able to help me with the BEST attitude! came through twice because we figured they were closed. the first time we went through no one greeted us at the speaker. the second time we came through and we didn't get greeted again so we said "hello?" again no one answered. we went to the window and the lady working said "you should've ordered at the speaker" we stated that we had tried to order at the speaker and no one greeted us. finally got our food. all of the Taco Bell's in lawrence are like this and its always a bad experience. always feels like they hate me for trying to get some food. :( read more

Pulled up to the drive-through with no answer. Maybe my car is not heavy enough to trip the trigger? Maybe it's like the time a couple months ago when I was here last and they mysteriously shut down at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with no signage, no warning, no staff coming out to tell the eight people in line that they lost power or we're taking a nap or whatever... I don't know why they didn't answer, so after I let the call to them ring 12 times with no answer after waiting 10 minutes, I drove up to the window where they tried to take my order. I cut the guy some slack because he said that this was his first day, but then he didn't know how to put in my order since he'd already rung up the guy behind me/his computer froze up/he didn't know that the number three came with the taco supreme instead of a regular taco...It was a different experience than a week ago when I pulled up again with no answer at the drive-through - had to go to the window to place my order when the girl said that they were out of sour cream so I wouldn't get any on the nachos or taco supreme--Not the end of the world, but no apology, no reduction in price, no offer of a substitute, and they still got something wrong on the order - That's three times in a row that tell me that these people do not care and don't want my business. read more

I guess it's not possible to give less than 1 star but would if I could. My vegetarian friend ordered the Mexican pizza and it came with meat. When she tried to return it, the first person she talked to on the phone said they'd be happy to give her the correct order + additional food for her trouble. When she arrived back at the restaurant, the person she dealt with called her a liar and demanded she return the uneaten food. Ridiculously poor service. Most people do not expect much when eating fast food, and I am no different. While it seems the prices in general have risen over the years the quality of the food, service, and convenience has declined. I visited this location while on lunch for work, was roughly 2:40 a.m. it was not overly busy, 2 or 3 cars before me. I normally stick to what I know here, I'm an adventurous eater, but rarely with fast food. However this time I went with a new item. Ordered 3 shredded chicken burritos, based on the recommendation of a friend. Upon returning back to work and opening my bag I realized that I had only received 2 of the burritos, not all 3. To add insult to injury the only filling in those 2 was rice. They were roughly the size of McDonalds breakfast burritos if you've ever had them. Now I did not call and complain, nor was I able to return that night and let them right their wrong since I was at work. Past experiences were generally not as bad, receive what I order typically, but nothing to rave about. It's ok if your options are very limited, otherwise eat elsewhere. read more

If I could rate it lower I would. I came through around 12:30 on the night of 1/25/2018, the management shut the drive through door in my face after I tried to return an order that was given to me incorrectly. I ordered 7 items, was given two, and even after corrected was only given 6. I am not sure what was happening in the store that night but as a fellow service worker that was completely unacceptable. Yesterday, we ordered our food through the drive-through. We received our order and proceeded home. We soon discovered that the two Mexican Pizzas were so burnt that we could not eat them. The six crunchy tacos had about six small shreds of lettuce and less than 1 tsp of meat in each of them. There was no cheese. The tacos were extremely flat and tasteless. To be fair, the one good thing we ordered was a "Power Burrito." It was quite good. I returned to the store today to speak to the manager. Before I could offer much of an explanation, he became rude and extremely defensive. He tried to put the blame on me by not coming back immediately to show him (or whomever was on duty) the food. What?? He refused to take responsibility for this because it wasn't his problem. Nevermind that he is the manager of the store. He then ordered me to leave the store and walked away. It's not the lack of refund that is so disturbing here. It is his belligerent, rude, and obnoxious demeanor. Granted, I am a senior citizen. I don't know if this rudeness is reflective of a prejudice or not. But I do know that this young man needs to be held accountable for his actions and for the poor quality of food from the restaurant he manages. I have contacted the company office, but the contact process did not give me much hope that this would be addressed. There was not a human voice -- just a form to complete and submit. We'll see if anything happens. I will be contacting the BBB as well. I should receive a refund and an apology. I can only hope his behavior was a fluke and not indicative of his managerial abilities. read more

so i was at taco bell today in Lawrence Kansas at the 6th street location. they messed up my order. i noticed when i got home so i called there location and spoke an employee who got me to the "manager" who said they could not fix it without a receipt which the drive threw attendant did not give me. when the "manager" asked her she said she gave it to me and to every person before. not true. he refused to help me when i asked for his manager or for the 1800 number said that "there is no one above me" which is also a lie. and i found the numbers in 10 second google search. he then proceeded to hang up on me. so i called back again and asked why he hung up on me he did it again. and for several calls after that he would pick up the phone and hang it up. so i called off a second phone which gets answered by the girl who answered my first phone call and she now said she was a manager, which is a lie because she was not the first time i called in. i have all my phone calls recorded for proof. i really dont care about the one damn taco. its the customer service, the refusal to to fix a problem they started, and the blatant disrespect from the "manager" read more
