My lunch visit on 2018-02-14 was one of the worst I have ever had to any restaurant. No customer got their food sooner than 15 minutes after ordering. But after 25 minutes, several numbers after mine had been called, so I went and asked the manager about my order. She said "this one's yours". It wasn't my number, my items, or even the right number of items. After I told her it wasn't mine, she asked for my receipt, and it became clear they had lost my order. They made my order then, but not so much as a "sorry about that" from the manager. I always eat tacos first because you don't want them soggy. Well, it was broken into such small pieces that there was nothing I could pick up. So, I went and asked if they could make me another. The girl who made it says, "It wasn't like that when I put it in the bag." I had smashed my own taco at the table so that I could wait another ten minutes to get an identical taco?!?! Came through the drive thru and the drive thru chick complained that it was a long order ( I have 3 combo meals, a burrito and a Mexican pizza). She comes back and says the items you said are missing aren't on the receipt (which they were) so I asked for a pen and circled the missing items. She goes back and gives it to someone and I'm waiting for 15 more minutes and she comes back and says they lost my receipt and for me to write down what was missing. So I wait another 15 minutes for my missing items. The kid who handed my bag over basically tossed it on the counter and walked away. I asked for sauces and he said you can get them by the pop machine which was empty so I told him it was empty and he rolled his eyes, grabbed a bunch of random sauces and dropped them in the counter. I asked them drive thru girl who manager was and she said a lady was the manager so I was lied to over the phone. I asked her who the general manager was and she said I don't know and walked away. The female manager on duty that took my order called me an F*ing Weirdo. Because of my ordering different than others. Then couldn't figure out how to log my order correctly and commented "Shit" while the microphone was still on. They had a manager on duty named Carlos that was "on the line" that I ended up giving my order to and I let me know what happened, though he didn't seem to give a poop. A REVIEW FOR TACO BELL!? YES LET ME EXPLAIN. You see, this Taco Bell was in an old run down build when I first moved here. The service sucked and was super slow. For the first time ever I understood why people shot up fast food joints. I worked at a Taco Bell when I was 16 and it was super easy. Everything comes pre-cooked; you just have to boil it and pour it out of its plastic bag into a hot holding pan. This place shorted me on orders and gave me other people's orders on such a regular basis that eating there was like playing a slot machine; did I win or loose. So when it got bull dozed to the ground I cheered and celebrated! Then construction started there on something new! Rats, it was just a new Taco Bell. So I went to the new TB shortly after it opened and was convinced; that deep beneath this Taco Bell was an ancient Indian burial ground that whose ghost possessed the employees of this place and made them the dumbest goofs in the fast food industry! I remember in high school that my history teacher once worked for NASA and he told the class if a space shuttle flight was functioning at 99% there would be a possible 50% success rate but most flights launched at 80%; yikes buy a lottery ticket instead. This Taco Bell had to be operating at 30%. At one time I had the 1 800 complaint line memorized. I just quit going after the manager had to tell someone to wash their hands and they threw a fit! It was so ridiculous I couldn't help but go sometimes just to see what happened! I eventually quit going but returned months later. The place seems better organized now and seems to be your average Taco Bell. I haven't had a problem in a while. However, if you put your ear to the floor of the dining lobby you can hear the war cries of the ancient restless Indian spirits that a wait to attack again. read more

About two weeks ago: Another sub-par experience. Gritty/stale beans, lack of detail and slow-going. One car ahead of me, yet my burrito and pizza order took at least 10 minutes -- most of that waiting at the window without any updates as to what was happening. The beans felt old and unappetizing. And the attendant seemed unwelcoming. She tried to charge for my beef to bean substitution by adding "xtra beans" to the order (2nd time this has happened). And that doesn't even cover the two prior times I've visited only to find either the drive through or dining room closed. I'm just not sure why this location can't get it together. I've been to many other Taco Bells that run like a well oiled machine. Why do I keep coming back: Mainly it's when I have nearlt no wiggle room in my schedule.
