Finally got to check this place out after hearing my hubby say he really liked it. He had been there several times. He said it reminded him of El Pollo Loco. We came in and they weren't busy. You go to the front and order off the menu. You get a number and they bring the food to your table. We ordered a whole chicken with a couple of sides. Came with tortillas and some really good sauces. Also tried the sweet potato empanada. Everything looked great and generous when it came to the table. When we started to make our tacos, we found the chicken to be kind of dry. It had good flavor, but the white meat was definitely dry. I really liked the flavor of the chicken. The beans were different. They were very loose with a little cheese on top. They tasted good and with the homemade tortilla and chicken was OK. I liked all the salsas, they were definitely homemade. The Green was my favorite. The empanada crust was crispy and tasty. The inside was a beef make sure with some pieces of sweet potato. Not what I expected but I enjoyed it. This place is really cute. Right when you come in, you feel like you're in Mexico. bright, colorful tiles, and Spanish decor They have self serve water. I like this feature because I am a water drinker. The receptacles were very cool looking. Really cold water too. We had a couple of beers which were nice and cold. The owners were very nice and gave us extra cheese and sour cream when I asked for it. I definitely will come back and give this another try. read more

If you're in the mood for something different, this is a good option. The menu is filled with choices you wouldn't find at a typical Mexican restaurant. (FYI I LOVE the food at a typical Mexican restaurant, especially Tex-Mex.) I liked my entree, but would probably not get it again. My wife's Vali's Fries were better. The folks working here (owners?) were super friendly, and I would like to see this place succeed. read more

Wow, enormous portions for the chicken combination plate (pollo asado). The chicken was excellent and you can taste the char on the outside while the inside is tender and has excellent flavor. The fries have a spicy dipping sauce that is a great complement to freshly cut thick fries. The cabbage and pickled onions also complimented the chicken. All home made and fresh! Carry out only and made fresh so give it 10-15 minutes. You can also order a 1/2 chicken plate which is perfect for one person. This restaurant is clean, fresh and so good. Next time I'll try the chicken sandwich and the homemade desserts. read more

Great experience. Stopped in for dinner during work. I got the smothered pork burrito with chips and salsa. Everything was fresh and homemade. Great portion size for the price. It is a walk up and order place and they deliver to your table. They checked on me a couple times and brought out a to go container. It is very clean and comfortable. Everything was delicious! Fair warning- the menu is a bit small (and all the dishes at the moment are chicken). However, everything we got was amazing! All their sauces were house-made and the Riki sauce was just the right amount of spice! Their fries were thick and fresh, so they were really potato-y, the fried chicken was crispy and tender. Came here today for lunch with my wife. Wanted to try something new and drove by here a few times. Great idea!! This place had fantastic chicken and fries. I had mine smothered in cheese.You can tell its not frozen box stuff but fresh chicken beast breaded up. I will definitely be coming back here soon to try more items on the menu like the grilled whole chicken. My wife and I like to try new restaurants in Loveland. Found Riki's. Walking in and ordered at the counter. Food was brought out to our table. I had the smothered burrito, and my wife had smothered tacos. Both dishes were very good. The price was very reasonable. This is a Mexican restaurant with good food and prompt service. Decided to try this place. The food is good. I mist hit them on an off day. Ordered to go and didn't check everything before I left. Get home and didn't receive everything I ordered. So I'm from out of town and asked the cashier at the liquor store about the Mexican place in the strip mall. He said Riki's is excellent give it a try. I had not even seen the sign, you really have to look when it's dark. I had the deluxe wrap and it's amazing and so unique. Has a bit of a kick to it. The batter on the chicken strips is very minimal. I would definitely eat there again and would love to try something else. read more

Riki's is a small place packing big flavor. My husband and I came here on a Wednesday, and there were a few other people coming by for pick up orders, but we were the only ones to stay. There is virtually no seating, but luckily it was nice outside so we sat at the table outside the door. My husband got the tinga pollo (chicken tenders), and I had the tinga wrap. Both were very good. The fries are thick cut, which is my favorite style, and fries in a wrap is the best decision I've ever heard of. The chicken was well prepared and flavorful, and portions were reasonable. My only complaint is that there was no salt on the fries, and the only salt they have available is in those tiny packets that were inside the silverware packs they offer. Not wanting to waste six sets of plastic ware just to get salt, we opted for them plain, but they would have been much better if there was a way to salt them more liberally. read more

I am so happy these guys just opened in my neighborhood! The pollo asado is well seasoned and tender, the salsas were fresh, flavorful and solidly medium spicy (feel the heat but not burn your mouth). The wings were WAY better than I expected, especially the parmesan garlic. The chocolate tres leches cake had hints of cinnamon, super moist and made me want to try their other desserts. We were in the area yesterday I heard they opened a new Mexican grill in Loveland so we stopped in I ordered the Tinga Wrap which was surprisingly delicious I would recommend to try this but I had it with no beans and no fries. This place is absolutely incredible. They have a small menu but what they do is amazing. I ordered the half order of a full chicken and let me tell you this is some of the best chicken I've ever eaten in my life not only as a cook right season beautifully I'm amazed by these people like honestly this is incredible they're white rice tons of flavor they're pickled onions tons of flavors salsa tons of flavor the beans ect.
