I bookmarked several recommendations for the Canton/Akron area, but because we were there visiting a friend before her major surgery, our time was very limited. Didn't think we were going to make it to ANY of the places I bookmarked until today, when the sun, moon and stars aligned for a dinner here. We tried several items such as the CHEESE DIP, SOPES, CHICKEN & BEEF HIBACHI SKEWERS, PINA MEXIBACHA, STREET CORN BOWL, and CUBANA TORTA. Everything was really good! The cheese dip was one of my favorites ever! But what I was absolutely most impressed with were the BURRIA TACOS. Before my visit here, I have never truly enjoyed a Burria Taco anywhere. I've tried them at about a half dozen places and most have not lived up to expectations. Some were okay, but none were worthy of multiple visits... until today! Simply put if I lived in this area or anywhere within a 25 mile radius, this surely would be my new favorite place for Mexican cuisine and the only place I would ever go again for Burria Tacos. They are truly that good, at least to my tastes. But alas, I will only be able to dream of them until my next visit to the area. Recently they changed the menu, and my usual order disappeared. Now the first hibachi option requires selecting two entrees, yet chicken isn't even listed as an option. The last two times I ordered the "new" hibachi chicken menu item, it came with noticeably less rice and no vegetables compared to what I had ordered consistently for years. So with today's order, I politely added a note asking them to please fix the menu issue and explained that I wasn't happy with the reduced portions after the menu change. I even stated that I was completely willing to pay more for the original meal I had been ordering all this time. Instead of trying to help, I received a phone call from a man who initially refused to give his name, but later identified himself as Luis. From the very beginning he was hostile and argumentative, insisting that I had "been ordering from the kids menu" this whole time -- despite the fact that nowhere on DoorDash does that item say "kids menu." At that point, I told him to cancel the order because when someone is immediately hostile and insulting, I absolutely do not want them handling my food. Congratulations, Luis. You earned this review. I spend a few hundred dollars a month at this establishment, but that ends today.

The waitress spoke no English at all and had a very difficult time just taking our drink orders. My wife ordered a small lime Margherita, and I ordered a small beer. She brought a medium gold Margherita and a large beer (and charged us as such). The waitress had to get help to take our food order (everyone got tacos). My wife's came with cheese on hers, mine didn't. Our friend got the ground beef tacos and they were so salty that she couldn't finish hers. The waitress didn't come back to check on us. When our friend and I went up front to pay our checks we waited 10 minutes without a response. So my friend called the restaurant on the phone and explained why she called. The employee just hung up on her without saying a word. Then they sent our waitress to cash us out, which she had no problem doing. We had no opportunity to speak with management. I would understand (maybe) if the restaurant was busy, but there were 5 tables with customers and 3 waitresses. Was it solely the fault of the waitress for not speaking English, or the restaurant's fault for knowingly putting her in the poor position that she was put into? Either way, we won't be back.
