To preface, I'm not "that guy" that finds a reason to write a bad review. But, I don't know whether to blame the waitress or the restaurant for the awful time my wife, our friend, and I had this evening. The waitress spoke no English at all and had a very difficult time just taking our drink orders. My wife ordered a small lime Margherita, and I ordered a small beer. She brought a medium gold Margherita and a large beer (and charged us as such). The waitress had to get help to take our food order (everyone got tacos). My wife's came with cheese on hers, mine didn't. Our friend got the ground beef tacos and they were so salty that she couldn't finish hers. The waitress didn't come back to check on us. When our friend and I went up front to pay our checks we waited 10 minutes without a response. So my friend called the restaurant on the phone and explained why she called. The employee just hung up on her without saying a word. Then they sent our waitress to cash us out, which she had no problem doing. We had no opportunity to speak with management. I would understand (maybe) if the restaurant was busy, but there were 5 tables with customers and 3 waitresses. Was it solely the fault of the waitress for not speaking English, or the restaurant's fault for knowingly putting her in the poor position that she was put into? Either way, we won't be back. read more

A great example of this regional chain from before it was seen as a chain. Tasty food, friendly staff, fast service. Huge drink selection as well as a vast menu of delicious Mexican foods. This location may be smaller than other Don Tequilas, but it more than makes up for it in effort. Order lots; tip well. read more

Stopped in after wanting to try a New Mexican restaurant. We found this restaurant on Tik Tok. Loved the vibes just walking into this restaurant. Super clean and amazing staff. Everyone was very kind to us. Our waiter took good care of us and made us feel welcomed. You get your food via robot machine which gave us a laugh. Food was amazing. We ordered way too much and had to take plenty home. Loved the time we had. Food needs a stronger flavor but i am definitely coming back. read more

I stopped in here for an early lunch on a Taco Tuesday at 11:15. There was one other table occupied by two people. I was greeted politely and seated quickly. I ordered a sweet tea and five beef tacos. I got chips and salsa with the beverage and the food soon followed. The place seemed very clean and the employees seemed very helpful. It is the Tuesday $1 taco order and most place keep them a little light but the severe lack of meat in these caused me to reflect on the possibility that this was a vegan order. The flavor was good just light on meat. The other issue was an employee using a very large shop vac to clean ceiling vents in the dining room. Management may want to have this done before opening. Eventually a patron at another table got him to stop. By the time I left at noon there were six table with customers. Ok it a a month or two later and I came back in for Taco Tuesday. Same great service, clean restaurant and the same order. This time the tacos were full and there was a generous amount of meat in the shells. This was the best Taco Tuesday in town so far. Very good food. Love the fried chimichanga with chicken. The portions are huge and make for several meals. The dish comes with rice and beans, lettuce tomatoes and sour cream. I order without the lettuce or tomatoes. The reason for not giving 5 stars is only because I find the veggies remain on my order at times. You also get chips and salsa with your meal. It's well packaged and if ordered from a delivery service arrives hot. The sapapillas are super good as well. The prices are very reasonable as well. read more

The food was excellent. Large portions and very tasty. The margaritas were also very good. The problem was with the waiter. We had to ask for water 3 times. We were there for over a half hour before we got it. We ordered An appetizer and I specifically said I wanted before the meal (I hate when them come out together ). We never even got the appetizer We were starving and ate all the chips and salsa and asked for more, since we didn't get the appetizer, and he said he was going to get some. Never brought them out or apologized about anything and acted like he was so inconvenienced and was doing us a favor by waiting on us. On a positive note... the food is actually quite good and the margaritas are delicious but the problems lay with the staff or lack-thereof. I wouldn't eat here if you aren't ready to spend at least an hour or more waiting for the food, the check, all of the above. I've also had a few issues with the bill before which were never really resolved. (I was eating with a few friends but we paid separate. Somehow I was charged for my friends bill even though the checks were separated correctly and signed. It's honestly left a sour note for me, but best of luck!) read more

So disappointed. My daughter and I were excited to try a new place. We pursued the menu together making our choices. We were hungry and ready for some good Mexican Cuisine. Unfortunately what we ended up with was disappointing. Even with the understanding it was delivery. The cheese on the chips tasted like white American cheese and bland. The two dishes with spinach were awful. The spinach was not fresh. It had to have come from a can. All I can say is we were expecting so much more given the reviews. We were disappointed. The veggie choices my daughter tried to eat but couldn't. I semi enjoyed my 'crab' but I must say I was very HUNGRY and I'm truly not that picky. We was so happy to find this place on the 4th of July it was the only place that was open. I had the lunch special fajitas and it was amazing. My husband tried the Cancun burrito and loved it. We absolutely loved the dollar taco Tuesday's and Wednesday's!!! The restaurant is clean. We sat on the patio. The service was so nice and on top of refills. Great place for the Lunch hour during a work day! Service was quick. The free chips and salsa with individual dishes for each person was thought out. Did not leave feeling gross. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Clean. Very friendly staff. Food is quick. The fresh quacamole they make right at your table is super! I usually always get the chicken grill plate. And its always consistant. Cheesey goodness. They give you good portions. I always say I'm not going to be able to finish my plate, but its so good I always do. The food options and portions are great! I love that there is spice and the meals have flavor. The downfall is the service. They greet you in a friendly manner and take your orders, but not always do the orders come correct to the table. Also, the followup for refills and additional service is lacking. Tonight was the last night that I will ever eat here,, The past two weeks I was treated to poor or no service for food that's okay,,The Unfriendly staff makes me feel unwelcomed,, Tonight I walked out after an almost 20 minute wait for Tacos ,, even after the waiter went to check on my order and never returned to let me know the status of my order, Being in the service industry for the past 35 years, my advice to the owner is to fire your wait staff and start over.
