The wait staff was fantastic, everyone that came to help us which was three or four people were all extremely nice. I would go here again, but I would not get the house margarita it tasted like Gatorade. However, they could kind of tell I didn't like it and offered to bring me something else. Huge portions at decent prices. The only thing I do not like is the cheese. They use American Cheese. It is not right for Mexican food. The jumbo fried burrito is very good. Great spot downtown. I stopped in for something quick, heard their food usually comes out very fast. I was by myself, had a simple order of nachos and one of their house margaritas. They bring out an order of chips and salsa complimentary, and the food I ordered was maybe 5 minutes later. Very prompt service. Clean inside with decor that's typical of a Mexican food joint. I'm in Massillon quite a bit for business. I'm always looking for a place to go outside of the normal boring chain restaurants. I'm also not a big fan of those turnkey Mexican restaurants that look like they were purchased in a kit. I'm very happy to report that this place is the real deal. Just finished my first among many dinners here. I had the carnitas tacos and was amazed at the delicious lightly-fried soft corn tortillas. The pork was superbly prepared and the presentation was amazing. This particular plate is served with refritos, which were also amazing. Even the melted cheese on the beans was obviously of high quality. The hot sauce served with the tacos had a nice bit of heat. This is something that seems to be growing increasingly rare. I really appreciated it. The service was excellent as well. The owner himself greeted me and made sure everything was perfect. I've driven by this place hundreds of times, but no more! From now on, this will be a regular stop when I'm in town. Thanks for a great dinner! Oh, and the bill. I almost forgot. My bill was under $13. No arguments about tonight's expense report. The seafood burritos here are AH MAZING! Lots of food for the price. In fact we joked with our server about it because we needed a crane to get up out of our seats! I also like Sally love how each person gets their own salsa bowl as I know I love to add a little kick from the pepper sauce in mine. This place is not fancy, just a small family restaurant but serves mexican food different from others. We live close by but it was our first visit. Upon tasting my pina con tilapia I knew right away we would for sure be back. My only problem is that I am sure I will be ordering the same thing again as it is sooo good. This is something we have never encountered at a Mexican restaurant before. They brought out something entirely different and claimed it couldn't be fixed so I sat there watching everyone eat. I was very disappointed in my trip here for the first time. I had been in this location before the restaurant bought it so I knew it was a cool looking place and I was exited to see how they made use of the space. So we get in, sit down, and wait. And wait. And wait. Looking around I saw dirty tables and the server as the bartender also. Keep in mind this is a Saturday at 4pm so there was no reason why they should be scheduling staff short, they are probably just short staffed. I order a daiquiri and it's the strongest drink I've ever had and not enjoyable in the least. My boyfriend wanted to order a second beer but we didn't want to wait another hour so we left to another restaurant afterwards so we could have a couple of drinks and actually enjoy our night somewhere else. Have gone multiple times to this particular location. Times were speedy, the salsa is good! The chips are good. When calling over the phone and attempting to ask for cheese on the side instead of covering it for one of their burritos, as they only have two big burritos that aren't covered in sauce, I was told their kitchen probably won't do that. I then called back and ordered one of their non-saucy-covered burrito and asked what their policy is on altering menu. I spoke with a different person; I was told, "It's no problem boss, you got it, boss." Lol. I asked for no jalapeño and that's it. I picked up the food made quickly, the ticket on the bag said no jalapeño , all good right? There was jalapeño. What? What am I gonna do pick out all the jalapeños? I have been going there for many months more then once a week. Hours in line and door say they are open till 10:30 on Friday. Went in at 10:10 and we were told they were closed. If you are not seating till 10:30 then you should change your posted hours. read more

They were massive and for some reason half the dishes had bacon on them - kinda strange I thought. The molecajete was enough for two easily and as you can imagine if you have seen one of these monstrosities before burnt my mouth instantly. But, I was just hungry and impatient. As previously mentioned, the portions are enormous! Ask for a box when you order so you take some home! We went on a Saturday at 630pm and it wasn't busy at all. (It was much busier when we left an hour later) We requested the patio and were the only one outside even though the weather was pleasant. Service was good, she brought drinks quickly and didn't seem to mind when I wanted extra napkins and then salt and pepper, and then more chips! I'm not sure how long she's worked there because when I asked what was on the fish tacos she said just the fish so I was pleasantly surprised to find sautéed peppers , tomatoes and onions. The tacos came with beans but rice was extra. My husband had chicken fajitas which came sizzling hot along with three wraps, a massive plate of beans and a separate plate of rice and toppings. The bill, even with alcohol, was another pleasant surprise- under $50 for two adults and one child who also had dessert-fried ice cream-the bowl came filled with an absurd amount for a child, so of course, I had to help him out (hello bigger hips!!) Our only problem, well besides having to haul our stomachs to the car, was finding the place using google maps. She took us right to a movie theatre-the restaurant was actually a couple blocks away.
