They…read morealso have fresh halal poultry, meats, lamb, beef, etc. They pre-cut it and prepare it/wrap it for their customers to make it easy. The store offers a wide array of the usual Mediterranean and middle eastern food goods, imports, grocery, fresh meat, frozen items, cheeses, labneh, yogurt (Greek style, Lebanese, others), fresh pondered coffee beans, coffee/eat kettles, kitchen ware, pita bread bags, candy, and all the known lovely sweets (baklava, warbaat, katayef, etc). They also sell pre-packaged assorted baklava sweets, as well as imported sweets. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The owner is very friendly and she always tries to accommodate the kitchen needs especially when it comes to fresh meat, poultry, lamb, etc. Cleveland/Akron area has a number of similar stores, but this one serves Tallmedge and Akron area which helps since there are not too many similar stores directly nearby in Tallmedge and south Akron area. Much bigger than it looks from outside. There's a lot to look through in this small store so take some time. A favorite section is the beer. It all is located in a small refrigerated section. There's all kinds of unfamiliar sounding beers so you aren't going to find cans of Natty Lite or shit like that. Beer of this quality here is pretty cheap. There's a few large bottles for about $2, and these are pretty large. Besides the beer they also have lots of coffee and pop. They have some varieties that you can't find anywhere else like it seems. Among the food is lots and lots of candy. It's about $2 for a good size bag and there's lots to choose from. The ingredients are in different languages but includes English too. It even has a produce section and the fruits and vegetables look fresh. They have a very large deli section. Cool place for getting European food. It can be hard to find because it's hard to see. This is in the shopping plaza that's at the corner of State and Pleasant Valley.

The new store is large and neatly organized offering everything from fresh produce to spices, frozen foods, kitchenware, and health & body care items. They have a large selection of Indian desserts and even eggless ready to go cakes. This store is a great addition to the area! No restrooms seen. Plenty of free parking. Open daily 10-9pm.

There is almost always a huge stock of Hawaiian plantains, and this is the only Asian grocery store in the area that has them. There is also a good selection of soy sauce and canned things (e.g., lychee, longan, bamboo shoots). I will say that the snacks on the shelf will sometimes be expired (I once accidentally bought a cookie package whose expiration date was a year past) and you will have to scan produce for mold, but besides some isolated cases I haven't had much experience with food from here having gone bad.

He was able to recommend a comparable item to me and made pleasant small talk while cashing me out. I will definitely return to this store.
