I work near this Taco Bell and I have to say, this location is far and away the best Taco Bell I've been to. It's always really clean and the food is ready fast but above all, the customer service is so over-the-top amazing. Shawn in particular is really great, if you walk in to pick up a mobile order, he'll ask for your name and make sure the staff knows you're here and update you on how long it will be, etc. I've worked many years in customer service and Shawn is truly the pinnacle of the type of all-Star employee any place would be lucky to have; always smiling, inviting and happy to help. I don't know why so many people rated this location low, maybe they shouldn't expect 5-Star dining at a fast food joint - as far as Taco Bell's go, this is an A+. read more

Every time I order a Gordita I have to explain to the staff that it's on the menu. Then they make that item wrong. This is the 5th time the same exact thing happened. Tattooed girl at window didn't offer options on an online order when I noticed it was wrong at speaker. When I got to the window she ignored me for 3 minutes, then handed me the bag. I politely asked to order a separate burrito the way I wanted. She seemed pissy about it and charged me an extra dollar for adding beef and I said VERY LIGHT BEANS. Did not give me my change, practically lobbed the additional burrito bag to me. It was 85% beans with barely any beef even though I paid a dollar extra. She was rude and inconsiderate and did not care to get the order right or making her customer happy. I will NEVER go back to this one, even though I've been their customer for years and its conveniently located on the way to work. What a shame one unpleasant employee can make! ** UPDATE.. Tried ONE MORE TIME.. my bad.. this time I'm completely done with them. PAID to upgrade a light bean burrito by adding beef, paid $1.05.. NO beef, got extra beans instead. WAY too much beans, it was difficult to eat. Now the same girl as before took my order and she was considerably more pleasant than the first time. But I sat there for nearly 10 minutes with cars stacked up behind me. I only ordered 2 items. WHY that burrito took so long to make, I'll never know. But it was the "young man of color" with a HUGE weird top hat that puzzled me. He stood there doing nothing laughing and joking with her, easy to hear at the window, but when my food finally came, he simply dropped his smile, handed it to me, said NOTHING, and I asked for napkins. He snapped the bag back inside and roughly shoved a wad of napkins in the bag and again said nothing at all, and practically threw the bag back at me.. no thank you for my business, and slammed the window. What the hell is wrong with the employees at this location? WHY the hell are they still in business? Where is a manager? If its a franchise, how do you contact the owner? Would the owner or manager be the same way? With nothing, NOTHING but negative reviews showing, I just don't get why this location is even doing business with the public with their VERY nasty dispositions with the public. I wanted to try the grilled cheese burrito because I heard that it was good. I was out shopping and this was the closest Taco Bell when it came to mind so I pulled in the drive-through. I ordered the grilled cheese burrito & taco supreme. I noticed the line item price for the burrito on the drive thru screen was different than what the menu showed in the drive-through by $.30. So when I got to the drive-through window I let the girl know that it was supposed to be $2.99 instead of $3.39 for the grilled cheese burrito. She left and brought some guy back with her and he asked me what the issue was and I told him. He proceeded to tell me that he had just clocked out but he will go check the menu board. Well apparently he didn't mean he was going to go check it immediately and he disappeared. The girl proceeded to charge me the $3.39 for the grilled cheese burrito instead of taking the $.30 off of my total. He disappeared. By this time I was so put out, had waited and there was a line behind me ....I just figured I would let them know how disappointed I was and just pay it. It's a big problem if a manager does not believe a patron about a $.30 error and not want to make it right. As if I would lie about $.30. Sad... And I will not be back. However I do want to let you know that the grilled cheese burrito was surprisingly on the spicy side and more tortilla than anything. There was not an overwhelming amount of cheese... This is the worst Taco Bell on planet earth. If I could leave a zero star rating I would. I ordered 2 chicken chipotle melts and a crunchy taco through the drive through and then sat in line for 20 of the longest minutes of my life. When I got to the window she told me my total and I asked if I really needed to pay. She said yes because "they have a lot going on" well, I have a lot going on too and just had to waste almost a half an hour sitting in the drive thru. When I EVENTUALLY got my food it was all cold and hard. What's more, this location has the most inconsistent hours of any business operating in Oregon. Some days they open for breakfast and other days they aren't open until 12. It wouldn't be that big of a deal but you can't find any information about hours on their website or at the physical location. I strongly advise that you avoid this location like the plague. read more

TACO BELL ON OAK ST IN MILWAUKIE The kid at the window has EXTEME eczema and was scratching at his skin the whole time we were waiting for our food. I understand he can not help the fact that he has eczema, but it made me lose my appetite knowing he was scratching at himself and then handing our food. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION=Rude Service and Awful Food! 1) Missing food, no boxes for the $5 box deal yet charging $6.99 for them- so everything was thrown in a bag all mixed up, and the drinks were 3/4 full yet filled with 100% ice. 2) When given the bag at the drive-thru it didn't look right so I nicely asked if they could double check. I was promised all was there and that they're timed at the drive-thru so they need to keep it moving. I parked to double check myself, it was totally wrong and a mess so I came inside to get help since the drive thru was getting busy. 3) When I walked inside I was ignored by two employees sitting down and by other employees behind the counter, I know they saw me. Finally, after a long wait a manager appeared and in a raised voice said, how the hell did you get in here, we're remodeling, we're not open! I said, through the door- that it was unlocked and I saw no "closed" sign, what's more your website showed the dining room is NOW open. I go on to say, in a nice way, that I'm here because my order is missing food and it's a complete mess. He, than irritatingly said, well what's missing! I said, I don't know it's all thrown in a bag, not boxed as advertised, and everything is in the same wrap and also unmarked (a pen is usually used to mark different items if wrapped the same.) Next, the manager says nothing and than just storms off. I see them fixing my order while the manager is talking shit to them that I'm in there. This is so disrespectful after I did nothing wrong- I just wanted my order fixed. I never heard an apology this whole time but instead I was majorly disrespected by the manager's behavior. He reprimanded the employees in the dining room to keep the door locked right in front of me which is super unprofessional. Now those employees hate me while giving me nasty looks... making things unnecessarily super awkward as I wait again. As mad as I became I remained cool and calm because I just wanted out of there for being so shockingly disrespected and my order being so completely messed up. I needed my order because others at home were depending on it. 4) I get home and I discovered a sloppy destroyed mess, the flour tortillas used had a weird hard-ish yet gummy texture and wrapped so loose the was food oozing out everywhere. The tacos were completely shattered to pieces way more than what's normal of a crack or two- This had to be done on purpose! I remained nice the whole time, I didn't want any more problems or get my food messed with, which I think happened anyway- they're just mad because I came inside, yet they're the ones who made the multitude of mistakes! I ordered everything vegan (fresco style, subbed meat with beans). They even asked if I wanted black or their regular beans. They got my whole order correct. They didn't even skimp on the Crunchwrap. The general manager (who refused to give her first name and claimed her staff doesn't have name tags because they 'respect employee privacy') is completely unprofessional and indifferent. She also stated their lobby is closed due to being short staffed. Maybe she should do her job and hire more people so they're not short staffed? She also claimed that her superior doesn't have any professional contact information that she can provide. I think it's more likely than not that their lobby is closed because they're lazy and they don't value their customer's time by having everyone go through the drive thru. Apparently everyone had to take their breaks at once so we were told we had to cancel our order and come back in 30 minutes. There's a worker that's in drive through who says he can't hear well. I get that but when you ask if your orders complete and he says yes and you get all the way home to see nope he lied. I tried calling and phone rings and rings which he claims is broken. I don't reccommend this place until they pull him off drive through.
