We needed to have a quick meeting, which meant we needed to find a place to eat quickly in the area. Qdoba won the award. Qdoba is like chipotle's style cuisine. Fast food Mexican cafeteria style service. I ordered a steak bowl with pinto beans, salsa, corn, cheese, guacamole and something else. Honestly it wasn't bad. We had a language break down in ordering because the lady didn't speak much English. Fortunately, I speak Spanish so I switched languages so it worked out. My concern is the next customer who doesn't speak Spanish. She had a colleague that helped her but what if she were not available. Everyone was kind and I got my food. The food quality is standard Qdoba and decent. But the customer service is so bad. I mean, I live in Portland in 2025. I expect it to be pretty terrible. I expect indifference, even mild annoyance. But here, customers are met with outright hostility. It did make it easy to selected the zero tip option and save some $$. But next time, I would likely just eat crap from the Taco Bell across the street to avoid having to go in there. read more

I placed an order through the QDOBA app 30 minutes before my lunch break. The app showed my food as delivered, but I never received it. I contacted the store (the only option provided for a missing order) and spoke to several employees. One man said he would call me back but never did. Others told me they had no record of my order, even when I provided the details. The staff I spoke with were unhelpful and rude, and in the end simply told me there was nothing they could do--even though I ordered directly through the QDOBA app. When I asked for the name of the person I was speaking to for reference, he refused and ignored me on the phone. This was a very frustrating experience and a complete lack of customer service. read more

It'd be fine if I ordered a rice and bean burrito. But I ordered the chicken queso burrito. They only had chicken at the bottom quarter of the burrito, and the best part is that it's like this every time now. I'd be less upset if I didn't pay $13.15 on door dash for it. They were great the first few times I got food. I don't know if it's new management or a new policy to be so greedy with the meat, but it's actually quite upsetting. Customers might as well just get a rice and bean burrito. I don't know why I give them the benefit of the doubt. read more

The food was just awful. Had a breakfast burrito bowl--eggs were cold ans clumpy. "Bacon" was stale bacon bits. Potatoes were old and hard. Server not particularly friendly. Avoid this place. read more

Qdoba will always be #1 in the chain casual dinning/fast food burrito world. I always have consistently awesome burritos and great service! I came to this location Monday night after a long drive from Washington & ordered a veggie burrito on whole wheat & I got complementary chips and guacamole with the qdoba app I just downloaded. The burrito was packed full of fresh veggies, salsa and guacamole, as you can see. Ever bite was as delicious as the last and it really hit the spot. They have something for everyone at qdoba from meat to vegan protein options and now soup! The restaurant was very clean and nice to dine in. The staff was super nice too. Placed an online order and when I went in to pick it up there was a worker behind the counter in the food prep area openly chomping away on a burrito. She then walked, with the half eaten burrito past all the open food containers to the cashier area, and while still chewing the food in her mouth she asked if I was there to "pick up?" Not even a full sentence since she was still chewing. She could have chosen to not talk to a customer with her mouth full but apparently that would inconvenience her too much. I hope her lunch was good she effectively ruined mine. After watching her chew with her mouth open in the food prep area I did not eat my food. I have no faith in the cleanliness and food safety of this establishment and I'm not trying to share germs with employees. I have filed a complaint with the health authorities and emailed corporate. I chose to leave a review as well so other people can make informed decisions. read more

The folks working were really kind and the food was pretty good. I wanted to add a note for the managers -the credit card/register system is funky and doesn't communicate what is going on well. I thought I left a tip, but I didn't. Please fix this so the employees don't loose that important extra income regularly. read more

I ordered a beef brisket salad, and it came with barely any lettuce and one big chunk of meat. It looked really good on their menu, but unfortunately it wasn't anything like they had pictured. Didn't end up eating it. :( read more

I can sum this place up in one word: EFFICIENT! Aside from having a really small parking lot which they share with Bellagio Pizza (street parking is metered) there is nothing negative I can say. I've been going to Qdoba for well over 8 years. And have really enjoyed everything about it. Until now. They have introduced shrimp and I asked if they can properly dish a serving without cross contamination. Well guess what happened? I got a reaction because they didn't properly separate their food. Manager or owner was an asshole. I've eaten here many times but won't be back. Came in to pick up an order. Said was gonna be 10 minute wait. No problem Asked if I could buy some chips and guacamole while I wait. He said no, he's working on orders. Ok no prob. A lady comes in 2 minutes after me for a catering order. I was there for lunch today, 9-21-22. I was appalled and sickened by the way the manager was treating his employees! Yes, they were busy with large take out orders being assembled and picked up by delivery services as well as those of us that were in line as the regular lunch crowd. But that is NOT an excuse, nor does it give a manager permission to treat employees badly! The manager physically grabbed a young girl by the upper arm to "show" her where the drinking cups were in the back room. The manager was also VERY impatient and rude to the young gentleman ahead of me in line that was ordering and having a bit of difficulty because English is not his native language. All this while the manager was shouting out orders to other employees in a very degrading and disrespectful manner. Several of us in line were extremely uncomfortable with the verbal directives, (orders), from this manager. I don't know when this manager began his employment at this location although I have been frequenting it for years on a regular basis during my lunch hour. I have noticed over the last year that there has been a big turnover of employees. Prior to this past year, the same employees had worked there for years. Something MUST have changed drastically for those long time employees to leave! I have always enjoyed the food and service at this location but my patronage will stop as of today until the treatment of employees is addressed. At this time in particular, when a shortage of workers is hurting all businesses, I cannot understand why a manager would treat employees so poorly! If they can't handle the large amount of business, shut down for a couple or more days, train the employees in their own area of responsibility, whether it be grilling, assembling the first 4 ingredients, the next line worker to add the condiments and garnishes or the cash register employee and one dedicated solely to orders being picked up by delivery services. What is a manager? A person to efficiently and effectively direct a group of people to accomplish a common goal. What kind of employee would put up with this abhorrent treatment when there are so many companies begging for employees at this time? I sincerely hope that the owner of this location reads my review and addresses these issues! I'm so sorry that these employees were subjected to this treatment today. This is probably the worst Qdoba location in all of Portland. The workers are just oozing attitude like they don't want to do anything and are just constantly looking at you dumbfounded. The quality is just not good. Their sour cream is literally water, the guacamole looks ridiculously old, and the chips are extremely thin. The lady that works there in the purple shirt needs an attitude check or a different job. I understand restaurants have off days but damn. I have never left a review anywhere but I was so frustrated the location in tualatin tastes 1000 times better than this Qdoba. I like Qdoba. I have never had to wait for service. The staff are uber nice and the food is pretty good. You can create whatever you want - tacos, burritos, bowls - the usual fast foody mexican fare made to order on a production line. Calorie ranges posted so you can make as good or bad of choices as you want. The price is reasonable for what you get. read more

One of my favorite food is Mexican food, and I've never been disappointed in Qdoba. It's the standard build your Burrito in front of you shop but it's very tasty. Airline chicken is fantastic, but you can't go wrong with any of your meat selection at this place. I've been here a few times and the staff is always super friendly, very professional and efficient at what they do. I hate to bash a place that served burritos. It seems inhumane. However, it took 7 min before I walked out. It was not busy, and 2 employees just disappeared to the back without acknowledging me. I usually don't sweat this is if the staff says, "hey, sorry, I'll be right there." But silent treatment.... I'm out. Step up your game yo, you have a chipotle and muchos gracias on the same corner. Food: Great Quality. Everything tasted so good! The steak was marinated and cooked well. The lime chicken had great flavor. There's two different cheese sauces (mild, slightly spicy) so make sure you pick mild if you're not a fan of heat. Extra hot sauces by the soda machine. Price: cheaper than Chipotle. I really like this Qdoba location. The staff are friendly (I think that's kind of corporate mandate, but it feels genuine), the food is always flavorful and quick, and Qdoba has pretty good music. On my visit yesterday, I ran in almost right before closing and the counter man acted like it was midday. I appreciated that because I hate going in somewhere shortly before closing, especially if employees shoot you one of those "evil eyes" for it. The other rock star suggestion he made? Give me the chips for my nachos on the side since I was taking them to go. Now I don't have a soggy mess when I get home, but instead a big bowl for scooping with what look like fresh-fried chips. :) My favorite things about Qdoba over other corporate Mexican quick-service chains? Limes on the soda bar, for food or if i want to use one in a carbonated beverage. Loyalty card, for free food eventually. Sadly, I've always forgotten mine so probably missing out on free food. "Pick 2" Menu - great way to get a little salad alongside something a little less healthy OR to try out a couple of different meat and sauce combinations on the menu. Qdoba delivered food to our office a few months ago and I thought it was pretty good. I have been meaning to go in to the restaurant but didn't get around to it until today. Sadly, it was a total waste of $7. I ordered a chicken burrito with poblano sauce. The sauce was good but the chicken tasted low-quality and there were several bites that were too fatty / gristly to eat. YUCK! If I have to remove from my mouth you can bet I won't be ordering that again. If it were one or two gross bites I could forgive, but this was too much. Also, I took it to-go and the burrito was totally cold after only a 5 minute travel time. None of the food behind the counter looked hot. The restaurant itself seemed clean and the staff were friendly enough. I feel like the gross burrito I got was punishment for cheating on Chipotle with an inferior substitute. Never again! read more
