The drive thru line moved pretty quick and the window master was efficient, got the order correct, and was relatively nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation of the tacos. It's a fast food taco chain, but it's a little better than they're main competition. Even a simple burrito is just a little bit better somehow. I've only been here a couple times but I haven't had any issues here. Workers were pleasant and food came out as quickly as you'd expect (dependent on the lines). It's a weird layout to me, so if I don't want to wait in a long drive-thru line for my app order I just go inside. Service with a smile! I have been consistently receiving excellent service from Jaimee and this time was no exception! I ordered a modest portion that was presented to me like a feast! This has got to be one of the best fast food experiences I've ever had. Jaimee had my order ready for me before the transaction had even finalized. She made everything perfect! Even the sour cream cup was filled all the way to the tippy top. Competitors simply can't touch this level of performance. A few crumbs did manage to escape my grasp, and so.. Went to breakfast this morning with my husband while we waited for the bank to open. I had the huevos burrito and was not disappointed at all!! It was so delicious!! My husbands burrito was a lot messier. Like completely fell apart half way through. But stayed perfectly intact. There was just the manager there when we got there. She was very friendly and efficient! I generally include names of staff but I didn't see her name tag. Very nice lady tho! Ok I love this place. This location is always clean. Service is always prompt and friendly. They're super helpful wth coupons and finding good deals. I love using the app... check it out to get deals. I always stock up on gift cards during the Christmas special... I have to admit I am not at all fond of the refried beans at Del Taco in general... not this location but in general. Honestly I much prefer the flavor if refried beans at one if the competitors... HOWEVER, there is no comparison to the grilled chicken tacos Del Taco makes... freaking awesome. I don't eat much so one is definitely enough for a strong snack! There is already sauce so I never need hot sauce. They have a grilled chicken taco special on Thursdays. Taco Tuesday has a special for three value tacos for $2.29... pretty awesome. Yes they're small but they have great flavor. Crunchy tacos are yummy here too... very comparable to TB ( no names mentioned ) but less meat I'd say. I like their sauces... very different flavor from competitors but goods. They now have meatless options called "beyond meat".... for vegetarians.... but this carnivore prefers the real beef... and Turkey... etc.. Im not sure if it's still available, but there used to be a triple extreme meat burrito without the fillers like beans and rice lol totally yummy and definitely two meals for this lady. Value drinks are good... 30 oz iced tea for $1... strawberry lemonades and iced coffees as well only not as large I think it's a 20oz?? The drive thru is always clean asmbs extremely prompt. Wife and I decided to try Del Taco for the first time, needless to say we won't be returning, I got the taco salad which was literally a bag of shredded lettuce with a tiny scoop of ground beef, small scoop of sour cream and guacamole, very bland and VERY dry, after informing them that it was dry and needless to say nasty I asked for some sour cream and they wanted to charge $.60 for a small amount. Serious issues with this location. Ordered on the website and the store had no record of the order. Had to show all the proof then wait 15 minutes for the manager to check with corporate or someone to confirm. Once he found my order they got work. I got to witness numerous other people waiting 30 minutes for their food. The drive thru clients were also pissed because of massive delays. Took me 30 minutes to get my order. I don't blame the employees, they were trying to do what they could. Looks like a combination of a crappy order tracking system and being understaffed. Of all of the fast food Taco joints, this spot has to be the Ruler of the Kingdom. Offering fresh food, good pricing along with steady and friendly service, if I have a choice of Taco spots within 15 minutes of each other then I am coming to this one. Having been here multiple times before I had to give up dairy and I chose to get away from eating meat, I left satisfied with my decision to stop in a good 90% of the time and did not feel like I overspent for what i was given. Most of the time I would get the Macho Nachos which come loaded with toppings or the Macho Burrito which offers many fillings for the burrito giving you a good mix of flavors with each bite. If only they had vegan options, I would go here more often. read more

I am amazed by the ratings thus far and am amazed by Del Taco. I knew of Del Taco and thought "meh, another Taco Bell," and that it was even cornier given that they are contained within a peach colored stucco restaurant with the bright colored stripes on a retail drive-through pad in a strip mall. As for Mexican fast food, I only really had a good opinion of El Pollo Loco. My introduction to Del Taco has changed that. This Del Taco is, more or less, en route to service appointments with the car dealership. I saw the specials and "recession food" they had, so I stopped in. Their food is better than what Taco Bell has to offer! Their economy menus actually have decent choices, too. Also, on certain days of the week, they'll have a featured special, like 3 Chicken Soft Tacos for ~$2 on Thursdays after 3 p.m., I believe. Then, the food arrives quickly and the people who work there are courteous. When I go to get my car serviced, I either drop in here for their breakfast fare, such as a small burrito and hash browns, or, if the appointment is later in the day, their lunch fare, such as soft tacos and tostadas, For fast food, it gets 4 stars because of the taste, value, and service. read more

I included a picture for this updated review, that shows a taco shell that looks like it was in a fight and came out losing. I realize these are 49 cent tacos, but I really enjoy then entire shell. I know they had to know it was broke, since the decent sized missing part was not even in the wrapper. The other sad thing is, I should have been taking pictures of was the lack of meat in some of the tacos the past few trips, literally, a spot in the middle and not to the edges. That happened a couple of times, and finally the broken shell was last the straw. Del taco food isn't that great lol. But me and my kids freaking love it. Maybe it reminds us of being back home, idk, but give us French fries with tacos. We love it. This particular Del is pretty great. I always spend about 65 bucks here cuz I have 3 kids and naturally they eat like 7 grown men combined. Our orders are never wrong. There is never a forgotten item. They (the bomb ass staff) always give us sauces and salt and whatever else i ask for. They also never get annoyed or judge me when I take forever to order and have to add or change something cuz of a picky kid in the backseat. Attempted to go here a few times and it was really frustrating. Never again. Today I attempted to get some food, not too many cars ahead or behind me and it was painfully slow. I had an angry baby but was also hangry. As i was getting closer to the window...a bunch of bicyclists pull up, park, then cut in front of 7 or so cars. I drive by two Bells to go to Del! I love the options for any time of the day. Breakfast is great with egg and cheese wraps with Pico de Gallo and of course excellent iced coffee! Wonderful crinkle cut fries come with every combo meals 1-10 and the option of choosing a Double Dell Cheeseburger at a fast food taco place can't be beat. The Del Taco App has some really cool discounts too. There's definitely something for everyone at Del Taco. We went to Taco Bell on stark first but their dine in was closed. We decided we would head to del taco since it too was on the way home. Nobody inside other than an employee eating in the dining room and us. We were semi greeted by the gentleman who was also taking order for drive thru and filling orders. We stood there for probably 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. By the time the gentleman decided it was time to take our order we let someone that came in after us get his mobile order and then a couple came in for their mobile order. This distracted the person working the counter. He then went back to filling orders. Went for my first time instead of jack in the box to get burritos and tacos. Tacos had enough cheese and lettuce to take some out and stock my fridge. Tiniest sliver of beef in the tacos I've ever see. Had to flip taco and just eat the bottom and wouldn't even eat the second. Wife hated them to. She did like her fish tacos. But my asada burrito only had the inner sauce on one side and was like literally cold like our a fridge cold on the inside. The outside was hot but idk if people like this.
